I had a terrible experience with Rooms and Pads.
On 28th February 2024, I expressed my interest in a room advertised by the company with no reference to (the ad has been reworded since) "Flatshare of young professionals". They asked me to provide personal information, including my age (60+). After complying with their request, I received a vague response on the same day, indicating that I should contact them again after 15th March as my moving out date of 30th March would be too late. Despite reaching out to them on the 15th of March and twice after that, I did not receive any response, even to convey that the room had been taken. Their unprofessionalism and lack of communication skills are shocking, and they should be called out.

We sincerely apologise for the lack of follow-up in your case. Regardless of availability or suitability, every enquiry deserves a clear response, and we regret that this did not happen here.
Our room availability changes very quickly, and in some cases properties become unavailable before we are able to reconnect. That said, we recognise that not receiving a reply is frustrating, and we are reviewing our internal follow-up procedures to ensure this does not happen again.
Rooms and Pads works with a range of shared properties, each with different household dynamics and landlord preferences. When matching tenants to properties, we aim to ensure compatibility for all occupants while operating within UK housing regulations.

Very helpful and made finding a room to rent a simple and easy process. Gabor was a great agent he always got back to me very quickly with any questions. The landlord has been flexible to make the tenancy work for both of us. Really great experience so far.

I have found a very nice room through Rooms and Pads, I actually had a virtual viewing and was a bit anxious but the room was the same in person.
I would recommend this service to anyone looking for a room in london, much better than Spareroom!!!!
