Quick delivery
I ordered on a Sunday and received my timber on a Thursday.
The delivery page on the Ruby website says "We deliver nationwide, for a small fee of £35 on all orders." but the delivery fee for the 6x1 larch boards is actually £75 and I'm not in one of the "remote" postcodes. When I ordered I got an email that said "You will receive a notification 24 hours in advance of the scheduled delivery." I didn't receive any notifications. Luckily we were here when it turned up! The delivery guys were really nice and friendly and happy to carry the timber down the side of the house for me which was much appreciated!
When we unwrapped the timber it was quite soggy in the middle which wasn't a surprise having read other reviews. One piece was damaged on one edge and a few boards are not flat. Luckily it's just for building raised beds so it's perfectly serviceable.

Everything happened when they said it…
Everything happened when they said it would happen. My contact with them was good and they got back to me when I needed a response. The product a pergola was in good shape and we put it togethor easy enough.

I used Ruby for an order
I used Ruby for an order, and selected them over other suppliers due to their promise of a short 5-7 working day leadtime. We are now about 3 weeks late with no communication about why. I still haven't received the cladding.

Misleading statements on their website - no installation
Visited their site and asked them if their prices included installation because at the top of their website, it says "
Nationwide Delivery & Install".
When I asked if they install, they replied in their web chat, "NO, this is supply only. You would need to arrange fitting, usually with local builder / landscaper".
I asked why it states Nationwide Delivery & Install at the top of their site and they stopped the chat.
Watch this one - don't trust them.
Following your reply in which you stated, "In your specific case, as you were enquiring about a garden gate and we are based in Devon, we suggested using a local installer", you're implying that you knew where I am based. You did not. It did not come up in the conversation.
It would have been better to just come clean and admit that you only have the "install" sign to attract customers under false pretences. I have been in touch with National Trading Standards and issued a complaint against your company.
Please don't reply again. It is in their hands now and I'm sure they'll be in touch.

Well built and great quality and a great price. Adam is a legend
Can’t believe the quality of these gates and post for the money, they are well made and a lot sturdier than I was expecting.
Deliver in the time stated and for a reasonable cost.
Last but not least Adam is so helpful and great at guiding you!! Thank you so much.
Slight damage to the gates but I feel that was done in transit.
Will be getting more stuff from them.
