We had a lean to shed with cement bound asbestos corrugated sheeting making up one wall that needed proper disposal. Safe Environment were recommended by a friend and quoted a very good price for the job. The guys were fast and courteous when they arrived and removed the corrugated sheeting efficiently leaving everything clean and tidy ready to rebuild a new wall.

We found through a home survey that the artex had asbestos in. Finding Safe Environment has been great as they have been very helpful in planning the removal of all affected ceilings in the house so that we can start fresh and asbestos free. The price was very competative and Chris and Gas did an amazing job removing it all and cleaned up after the job was completed.
We are having another area checked for asbestos that we didnt see origianly and if it does comes back positive I will be rebooking them for this work. Would definitely recommend!
We also have their plasterers booked to reinstate the ceilings at a later date and hoping its as good as this job.

safe environment were absoluteley great to deal with, i had been dreading getting an asbestos garage removed as it had thick ivy growing on top of it for years, from start to finish was so easy, and quick, i asked for an online quote which was pretty instant then submitted photos which was really straight forward, the final quote came next day and was very reasonable, the 2 lads that came Brad & James were running late on the day due to a previous job but called and advised when they would be with me, they did an excellent job and didnt rush the clean up even though it was 7:30pm by the time they had finished, they left everything tidy and took away all the rubbish, brilliant job, thanks to all

Great communication with office staff. The works were complete to a very high standard. Would highly recommend safe environment.

Complete cowboys. They don’t do the work they have been contracted to do and then expect you to pay for all of the work. When you point this out they threaten to take you to court hoping you will be scared in to paying. Safe yourselves the trouble and avoid them like the plague. One if the jobs was to remove some small panels of asbestos…..they said they couldn’t as they weren’t licensed to do so. They are an asbestos removal company that don’t have the license to remove asbestos!! You couldn’t make it up!!! Avoid avoid avoid. Horrible company and people

Online quotation system was simple enough to use, a member of the team did contact me as they spotted a potential complication once I had sent in some photos.
From then on it was straight forward little fuss and polite team members.

A shower of rubbish! Contacted them to ask for a cost of ceiling removal. Cost accepted and job agreed. I contacted them 40 prior to appointment as I had to cancel. They stated on the phone I must pay full price but might consider half payment when nothing is stated in their terms and conditions properly and explained in an email or phone call. The next day I get a call from one of their incompetent engineers stating that he was on route to attend, baring in mind I had already cancelled 20 hours beforehand. Are they stupid or just fools. Have they never read or heard of the Trade Description Act and the Consumers Rights no service means no pay. I will be reporting them to both of these and taking relevant actions to ensure they get their act together properly if they think they can survive in the business world. Stay away from them and use a professional outfit.

Funny how the reply passes the blame back to me. You were informed 40 hours prior and unfortunately I do not run an inefficient company who do not update contractors and the systems you use thus giving you plenty of time to rearrange other works. At no point was a rescheduling of any appointment ever made and this is again your fault as you wanted to come a day earlier then scheduled and rang me to ask if you could. I stated “no” as we had cancelled the previous day!

Inefficient management and poor communication. Therefore, the blames on you and don’t blame others for your unprofessional attitude and this ridiculous unprofessional reply you sent too.

Thank you to all of the staff at safe environment who were involved in organising my asbestos survey. They squeezed me in at the last minute (2 days) and turned around the report within 2 days. Seamless, pleasant and good value. Thanks all!

The asbestos survey was booked weeks in advance, with follow up emails and messages from the company to confirm my availability.
On the day, the visit was scheduled for between 1300-1700, with the person not arriving until 1800, with no call forward to arrange if this was convenient.
The person had no plan of action on how he was going to conduct the survey and mentioned he would just have a quick look (£258)?
When the survey at this time was declined, on the basis of no confidence in the persons ability to carry the survey out, his manger threatened me with a last minute cancellation fee.
I think this paints enough of a picture.

From first enquiry to the finished job they were very good, polite did what the said they would do.
I was kept up to date with progress and they even managed to fit us in early because we were local which helped pacify the neighbours.
I would thoroughly recommend Safe Environment to anyone they were professional and knowledgeable and at the right price.

Reading the reviews for this company it seems you get either 5 star service or 1star with nothing in between. We got the 1 star service. Garage roof removal booked weeks in advance with builder arranged to follow on with new roof. On the day they repeatedly kept putting the arrival time back until finally turning up at 8.20p.m. Was 10.00p.m. and dark by the time they left so too late to get builder on standby to board roof overnight which was tricky as garage used as utility room/ workshop. In the daylight the following morning we could see a paving slab had been damaged and a PIR light broken. Getting this company to respond to queries/complaints is impossible. In the end knocked the odd £54.00 off the bill, emailed to say why, and paid the balance. Still no response from them other than another email demanding remaining payment and threatening court action. We are sending the remaining £54.00 as can’t be bothered with any more hassle. To sum up, if it all goes well on the day I am sure you will be satisfied with this company but if it doesn’t you don’t have a hope of getting them to engage with you and you will either have to pay up in the end or get taken to court.
