Dreadful. They tried to change my DD from £150 to £586 a month when I was in credit! They try and take more and more every month even if you are in credit. Completely incompetent. Do. Not. Use.

They are ok with their prices and customer services reps but they are UNABLE TO SORT THEIR NECTAR PROMISES! This is my 3rd year with them (hoping that they sort this out) but unfortunately it takes me lot of time and efforts to get in touch, explain over and over again that they are not fulfilling their promises and yet again, after extending my contract with them, no rewards received. I have the feeling that the Nectar reward renewal is an empty promise and they benefit from people not really bothering to follow it up and hold them accountable for their promises!

I contacted Sainsbury’s Energy as my final bill didn’t include gas usage, so a refund couldn’t be given. Rebecca replied to my email and sorted out the whole issue in a very prompt and efficient manner. A refund will be heading my way. Excellent service.
Missing Nectar Points
I had missing nectar points for a sign up bonus. They should have been credited long ago. I called Sainsburys Energy who put in a query form for me. Within less than 2 weeks, the issue was resolved and the points credited. Very good and helpful service and a quick turnaround.

Switch to new provider
Had need to discuss account following transfer to new supplier, readings needed updating on account (as had input as normal but the gas failed to be included on final bill). Asha was really helpful and ‘tidied up’ the account so that final bills would be actioned and refund to follow. Very helpful. Would also return to Sainsbury’s Energy - would have stayed if they had provided comparable deal!
