Absolutely diabolical customer service. Sandal broke after one hours. Customer support was unhelpful. $200 down the drain
Bad quality boots
Bought some boots. Wore them for 2 months and the sole of one split in 2.
Took photos and photos of the tops to show how new and unworn they looked- they told me it was overuse.
I complained and complained until they sent me a new pair. The same thing happened.
Terrible quality for premium price and terrible customer service
I am so upset
I am so upset. I called over a month ago to tell them that the shoes that I bought even though I bought them a year ago, I wore them one time to go out. It threw my whole pedicure. It ripped apart two pieces. It’s horrible material cheap and now they’re telling me to send the receipt to them to give me refund. Nobody keep a receipt for one year and it’s not normal to pay over $100 for shoes, even though I wear them one time it will completely broke on my feet !

Sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung mit Sam Edelman – nie wieder!
Ich habe zwei Paar Schuhe bei Sam Edelman bestellt und bin insgesamt extrem unzufrieden mit dem gesamten Ablauf. Das erste Paar kam nach 10–14 Tagen an, das zweite Paar befand sich jedoch nicht im Paket. Das gelieferte Paar war zudem viel zu eng. Deshalb bin ich davon ausgegangen, dass auch das zweite Paar nicht passen würde, und wollte beide gemeinsam zurückschicken, um nur einmal Rücksendekosten zahlen zu müssen – denn die muss man hier selbst tragen, was ich vorher leider nicht wusste.
Ich wartete also weiter auf das zweite Paar. Nach drei Wochen ohne Lieferung fragte ich direkt bei Sam Edelman nach und bekam die Information, dass das Paket wohl verloren gegangen sei und ich eine Rückerstattung erhalten würde. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt hatte ich jedoch bereits über PayPal mit der Option „in 30 Tagen zahlen“ bestellt. Da sich die Kommunikation mit Sam Edelman hinzog, waren die 30 Tage schon abgelaufen, und PayPal forderte mich zur Zahlung auf. Diese habe ich geleistet, allerdings sofort darauf hingewiesen, dass ein Teil meiner Bestellung fehlte.
Als ich Sam Edelman erneut kontaktierte und mitteilte, dass ich bereits bezahlt hatte, wollten sie plötzlich meine privaten Kontodaten für die Rückerstattung. Ich erklärte, dass die Zahlung über PayPal erfolgt sei und sie das dort klären müssten. Am Ende bekam ich lediglich eine Teilrückzahlung von 80 € für das erste Paar, das ich zurückgeschickt hatte. Die restlichen 120 € – für das verlorene Paar – wurden mir bis heute nicht erstattet. Von Sam Edelman kam keinerlei Rückmeldung mehr, es wurde schlichtweg totgeschwiegen. Selbst PayPal hat sich im Verlauf noch quer gestellt, obwohl ich dort ebenfalls alles erklärt hatte.
Fazit: Ich bleibe auf 120 € sitzen. Der Kundenservice von Sam Edelman war langsam, unzuverlässig und ist überhaupt nicht auf meine Situation eingegangen. Für mich steht fest: Ich werde dort nie wieder bestellen.

This website is an absolute scam, I ordered over 3 weeks ago and I have had zero communication from the brand on where my order is. I have emailed and their email bounces back, I have called them and it goes straight to voicemail. This place needs to be shut DOWN.

I ordered a jacket and it’s beautiful but sizing is way off! Too small and they make you pay for shipping. You also have to send them pictures and it has to be in the original packaging. You have to send them proof of purchase. It’s ridiculous. Not worth it.

Extremely Disappointing Quality and Zero Customer Service
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience purchasing the Sam Edelman Popy Lace Up Sneaker (Olive Branch Suede, size 7.5 M). After spending $110 on what I thought would be a quality product, the sneaker split open with a significant cut after fewer than ten uses. For a brand at this price point, this is completely unacceptable.
What made the experience even worse was the utter lack of response from Sam Edelman’s customer service. I reached out via email with all my order details and a clear explanation of the defect. It’s now been over five days and I have not received a single acknowledgment, reply, or direction about a refund or exchange. The product failed completely, and the company apparently has no interest in standing behind what they sell or assisting their customers when something goes wrong.
This ordeal has cost me not only the price of the sneaker, but also my time and trust in the brand. I’m left without functional shoes and forced to chase down an answer for an issue that should have been handled immediately. If this is how Sam Edelman treats their customers, I won’t be shopping here again, and I’d advise others to do the same.

Ik heb niet mijn schoenen kunnen retourneren. Dit was met het aanmelden van de retour al een probleem dus ik had hiervoor een mail gestuurd, uiteindelijk een reactie gekregen met een verzendlabel. Maar doet het verzendlabel het niet. Ik heb hiervoor ook weer een mail gestuurd maar ik zit al lang te wachten op een antwoord. Ik raad het niet aan om hier te bestellen.

I have received abhorrent customer service from this company. The shoes I ordered were never delivered. When I tried to resolve it with the company, their service dept. flippantly told me I would have to file a claim with USPS. When I went to file a claim with USPS they said I couldn’t, someone else already had. When I circled back to the company they then informed me they already filed a claim on my behalf - it was denied - and I have no recourse. Why they sent me on that wild goose chase knowing that beforehand, I can only assume they thought they could run me off and keep my money. So I’m out $200 with no shoes, and the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Do not order from this company!

I do like sam edelman style and fit. Only issue I have when ordered them via their website, I did not get my full amount back. Total spent was $134 and my refund was $118...they deducted return charge plus tax.

Inadequate customer support
I've known Sam Edelman for a long time. I started buying it in Italy, then I started visiting the site where there are several convenient offers. There are also models that are probably not going to be on sale in Italy. So far, when I shopped on the American website, I have had no problems. My complaint is not a complaint about the product. Over time, the quality has fallen a little, but there are still products that are worth the price. The problem is the management of contacts with the buyer. If it does not ship directly, it does so through a third-party company. But customer support is at the expense of SE. I recently bought and got the empty package. Perhaps I have the risk, but after 3 emails I did not have an answer, albeit an interlocutory one. They say by automated mail that I will receive a reply in 24-48 hours. Be careful.

I placed an international order 6 weeks ago and have neither received the items nor a refund.
I called customer service to get an update and was told that "an investigation has been started with the shipping company, and we don’t know how long this will take. You just need to wait."
Then I asked what the acceptable timeframe is for a customer to receive their order, I was told “we don’t have any.” Seriously? A retail brand with no standard delivery timeframe? That tells you everything you need to know about how little they care about their customers. Their representative hanged on the phone when I insisted on getting a proper answer with a timeframe for solving this issue. Offering solutions is the key for customer satisfaction. They offered NONE.
To anyone considering buying from this brand: STAY AWAY. Your time, money, and peace of mind are worth more than dealing with a company that clearly isn’t prepared to support its customers once they’ve taken your payment.
