This company were superb from start to finish and will be my 'go to' supplier for any future projects,and will be my recommendation to any friends or family.
Of course the quality of the product is important but another essential aspect are the people you are dealing with ie politeness, professionalism etc and Wessex tick all the boxes.
Pictures speak louder than words,so take a look and you will see why I'm so happy.

Worst possible company selling inferior products at high prices and useless customer services.

Staff at the Stone Zone extremely Helpful and pleasant to deal with. My problem is with the product I bought the Grey Indian sandstone slabs. Some of these have turned a mottled brown colour now they are laid and some have remained their original grey I would just like people to be aware of this possibility. the staff and delivery people are excellent I have now done some research on this and it seems I am not alone Others have had their grey slabs become mottled brown it can be the iron content in the slabs apparently But it has rather spoilt the look of my garden TO BE HONEST I WOULD HAVE GONE FOR DIFFERENT SLABS IF I HAD KNOWN ABOUT THIS POSSIBILITY I am going to try some more rust remover but the first attempt was not successful DOING THIS REVIEW SO OTHERS DO NOT HAVE THE SAME EXPERIENCE SO DIFFICULT TO ACCEPT WHAT I THOUGHT WOULD BE A GEY PATIO BUT NOW HAS SOME MOTTLED BROWN SLABS NOT A GOOD LOOK M BEER

WHAT THE STONE ZONE SAY DOES NOT MAKE SENSE OTHER SLABS AROUND THE LAMPOST REMAIN GREY SOME OF THE MOTTLED ONES ARE AT THE PERIMETER OF THE PATIO AND ARE SEVERAL FEET FROM THE LAMPOST. THE PAVING SLABS LEADING TO THESE HAVE ALSO REMAINED GREY. I HAVE CHECKED THIS OUT AND OTHERS HAVE HAD A SIMILIAR PROBLEM WHERE THE SLABS THEMSELVES CONTAIN HIGH LEVELS OF IRON ONE PERSON HAVING USED MARSHALS AND THEIR RECOMMENDED INSTALLERS BUT WITH THE SAME RESULT SOUNDS EVEN WORSE THAN MINE AS THEY HAVE EVEN MORE OF THE MOTTLED BROWN SLABS
THEY SPENT £10K BUT HAVE THE SAME RESULT I JUST DO NOT WANT ANYONE ELSE TO HAVE THE SAME EXPERIENCE GOING TO USE THE STONE SONES RUST REMOVER TOMORROW NOW, HAVE BEEN TOO BUSY TODAY

Whatever has happened they have turned it around from their bad reviews. Stonezone at Elliott Road Bournemouth were brilliant. The staff at the front desk new everything. Nothing was too much trouble. Delivery was on time and they took back the excess slabs. Thank you.

We bought a tonne of material from Dorset Soil & Aggregates. I would not recommend the experience.

What arrived looked different to what we expected. We called them up, shared a photo and Dorset Soil & Aggregates agreed that it was indeed different than what we ordered, but they assured us it was better and an even more expensive material. We said we didn't want it and would like to process a return. But they don't do returns. They can process a refund if the customer figures out how to arrange the return shipping via a palette company.

We offered to pay for the return delivery. We were getting desperate - we had a tonne of gravel on a palette sitting in the road outside our house! They stopped responding. They had suggested we contact the palette delivery company they use directly. We did and the company pointed us to a more local delivery company they use. Those people in turn said they did not work with one-off customers and suggested we go back to Dorset Soils & Aggregates Ltd which we attempted but with no luck.

We gave up, posted pics on social media offering it for free and amazingly someone came by and with a few car loads took the stuff away. We obviously did not get a refund. All was fine in the end but we would not recommend purchasing large quantities of supplies from this company.
