Choose eBay over this overrated, no customer service skills at all. They'll rip you off every second.

The female that works in customer service team. Her name starts with N. She has no skills whatsoever. She should be removed. Your still ripping me off. I WANT a full refund, that includes postage.. 🤞 it's your last day at the overpriced item's.. I've been with eBay for over 15 years, I tried this crap store for the first and last time. I hope your company collapses

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Avoid at All Costs!

I hardly ever write negative reviews, as I always try to give stores the benefit of the doubt, but my experience with Sanity's online store was absolutely atrocious and has left me thoroughly frustrated. I purchased Tatiana's Cards last November, and aside from the initial email confirming my purchase, I received absolutely no updates from them—however, the constant bombardment of advertisements seems to reflect their understanding of the client-customer relationship instead.

A month into the transaction, I reached out to inquire about the status of my order, which was supposed to be delivered within two weeks, as it was a backorder. Given the Christmas break, I was willing to give them some leeway, but their response was far from satisfactory. They apologized and assured me that my order would arrive within a week. However, another four weeks passed with no product or further communication.

At this point, I was incredibly frustrated but still polite when I expressed that their service felt incredibly illegitimate, especially after two months with no product or proper follow-up. I requested a refund immediately, and within moments, I received a response confirming the refund—without an apology, explanation, or any form of compensation.

Honestly, I don't know what’s going on with this company—whether they’re scamming people or engaging in something much worse—but my experience has been so unprofessional and disappointing that I wouldn't trust them again. To be honest, it almost feels like once a purchase is made, the client is expected to forget about it—as if the product was never meant to be sent and their money is simply gone. I strongly recommend avoiding this site altogether.

Don’t buy from Sanity

Do not buy from Sanity they had a Mystery Box for $50.00 plus delivery when I got it it’s 20 DVDs all rubbish I did not know one DVD they must be cleaning out rubbish that does not sell what a sucker I have been. Please save your money and do not buy from Sanity they are scammers now

Insanity scam

I received an email saying the item i asked to be notified about when it was available, was available and ready to be ordered then delivered. I completed the order form and paid it - over 6 weeks ago, and once payment went through, received an email saying the dvd hadn't even been released yet, and when jt was it would be sent to me. No indication as to when ir how long away this will he though.
What a scam.
I'll never buy from Sanity again

Rude customer service staff

Rude customer service staff on the phone. I placed an order a month ago and have had no updates so I emailed using their online enquiry form with no response. Then I called several times and couldn't get through. When I finally did get through the woman I spoke to had a rude and annoyed tone and cancelled my order without confirming with me that's what I wanted. I would not shop with Sanity again, I would rather pay more to shop at a reliable seller that has decent customer service and doesn't treat customers like they are an inconvenience.

Shop elsewhere!

I ordered an item that was listed as in stock on the website. Two weeks went by without a shipping notification so I followed up with Sanity only to be told three days later that the item actually wasn’t in stock and they would be cancelling my order. With so many other online stores to choose from, I recommend finding your item elsewhere.

Does not deliver and rude customer service.

Ordered a record on here and paid for the “delivery 1-3 days” option only to not have it arrive for 6 days. Called customer service (as I needed the record for a gig overseas) only to speak with a snarky, rude and inept woman who said that it clearly states that it says it actually says in “3 -5 places” “very clearly” that it takes 5 - 10 business days to leave the warehouse even if you pick that option. I just checked on the website and order, and it does not. She had the customer service skills of a brick and now I’m angry even though I didn’t start out that way before I rang. Useless. Don’t trust them to deliver your goods, OR deliver any respectable customer service.

It’s a fake website

It’s a fake website. When I entered my email to track shipping, it says my email does not exist despite of receiving confirmation in my email after placing the order. When emailed their enquiry email address, the email bounced back. I still haven’t received my book 20 days after placing my order.

I placed an order with sanity for dvds. Have just been informed after a long wait 3 of the dvds are not available. This is the 3rd time they have sold items, taken money, then waited ages, then said item was not available! I believe there is a word for taking money for items you don’t have…. Never purchasing from sanity again.

Due to their ineptitude, Grandson did not get his Xmas present

Ordered a football calendar on the second of OCTOBER for Grandson's Xmas gift. Sanity sent a few emails after that saying they were waiting for it to come from their supplier. Finally I followed them up with an email asking just when it was going to come. It's now just a few days before Xmas and their response was at least prompt. They advised me that their supplier no longer stocks this and therefore they have cancelled the order and are refunding our money.
That is very poor service from a supposed leading online store.
When I Google the product, it IS readily available from numerous online retailers. But to get it now at such short notice before Xmas ????
So I certainly won't be buying from Sanity in future nor recommending them to anyone else.

Closed down for a reason

Sanity states 5-10 business days to ship. I ordered on the 19th of September, it’s been 11 days and still hasn’t shipped. I’m now told the ETA is the 26th of October. Two days late for the person i’m buying it for as a birthday present. Now, i’m no mathematician, but that’s A LOT MORE than 10 business days which was clearly stated on the site. In fact, it was one of the factors I took into consideration before choosing Sanity to buy from. Well, i’ll never be shopping here again. It was my first online order with these guys, and they misrepresented themselves, which is illegal, and now I won’t have my present on time. I was sad when the physical locations closed. Now I can’t wait for the inevitable collapse of this company. For records, shop at Discrepancy Records, Goldmine Records, Midland Records, Bendigo Vinyl, Dutch Vinyl. My go to stores with a proven track record. Never been lied to. You’ll pay just slightly more, but you’ll actually be getting what you’re paying for, your record on the quoted date, not literal months later. Sanity will just lie to you, not adhere to the conditions of sale, and ultimately let you down, making you’d wish you had paid the extra $10 for a seamless experience.

Sanity, you fraudulently made claims you couldn’t uphold, and i’m considering reporting you to the necessary regulators.

Cambridge dictionary definition of the word scam: “A dishonest plan for making money or getting an advantage, especially one that involves tricking people”.

Sanity made false claims about shipping which was ultimately responsible for my choosing to shop with them, and not with someone more reputable. As you can see, Sanity is committing a literal scam, by all definitions of the word.

If you value your time, money, and…sanity(?), you’d be better off importing from overseas, which will only be slightly more expensive than Sanity. It will be faster, and you’ll be getting exactly what you pay for. Sanity only peddles lies and disappointment

Terrible

Terrible! Ordered 3 albums online. Black parade had two vinyls. When my order came, danger days and blink 182 were good but BOTH black parade vinyls were warped. Contacted sanity and they gave return address. I paid $18.50 to return for a refund. I was then told that they should have given me a return label, which they did not and that they would refund the $18.50 postage to my bank. Then they changed their minds and wouldn't refund the postage. So basically I lost money in two dud vinyls ! As it cost me $18.50 to have black parade refunded

DO NOT RECOMMEND. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Don’t online shop at Sanity.

Recently pre-ordered an album which was meant to come with a signed card from the musician online from sanity. The parcel arrived 3 weeks later without the signed card (which was the main reason I made the purchase). There was no effort to contact me that the signed card was not going to be in the parcel for whatever reason. I got in contact with their customer service only to be offered a 10% refund on the product. Very disappointed and will not be shopping from them again.

I was dubious about placing an order having read the bad reviews. I really wanted to order a signed CD they had, so I took the risk. It arrived 2 weeks earlier than they advised, and in perfect condition. I’m overjoyed with the service, and the signed CD that arrived

After over 600 titles easily purchased…

After over 600 titles easily purchased from Sanity I have cancelled all my online orders as now 3 times a online order wasn’t processed but yet I saw it in store and purchased it. And they don’t answer emails when there is a issue and every excuse was given but the answer was clear they simply didn’t answer. As a result despite my good relationship with instore staff my membership card got cut in half and I will now purchase elsewhere. And as in other reviews they claim their delivery is fast and someone wrote they are slow as snails is stupid Sanity is not a delivery service they sell dvds and cds Australia post do delivery not SANITY.
