Satchell Moran
I contacted Satchell Moran to enquire about a serious case of failings by Magistrate’s Court, Probation Services, the Crown Court and the Police.
I spoke to Max he dismissed me almost immediately without a fraction of the information required, the call got cut off then was not interested in speaking to me properly to find out the details of my case at all. Very poor service sadly couldn’t recommend. My case is so serious my MP is taking it to Parliament to ensure the law is changed.

My experience with Satchell Moran Solicitors Limited left me extremely disappointed.
My housing disrepair case involved severe mould, damp, and poor single-glazed windows which damaged my belongings and contributed to major energy debt due to heat constantly escaping from the property. I provided extensive evidence throughout the case.
Despite this, the matter took nearly three years to resolve. I was eventually advised to accept a settlement of only £2,000, and after deductions I received less than £1,100.
I personally feel the outcome did not reflect the seriousness of the conditions, the damage to my possessions, the stress involved, or the financial hardship I experienced.
I also raised a formal complaint but did not feel my concerns were properly addressed.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this firm.

Your housing disrepair claim was concluded successfully, and we worked to secure a settlement on your behalf based on the evidence available and the circumstances of the case. Unfortunately, the timescales involved in housing disrepair matters are often outside of our control and can be significantly affected by the actions and responses of the landlord.
We would also state that all costs, fees, and potential deductions were fully explained and set out at the commencement of your case.
We appreciate that you are disappointed with the outcome and the level of compensation achieved. However, we do welcome the opportunity to discuss your concerns further and would be happy to speak with you directly should you wish to do so.
