Worth the price and it saves me lots of time.
I was not sure about this product and it is not easy to get in the UK and there are lots of Chinese factories selling similar things. However, I still go ahead with buying it from Scanovus (Copenhagen).
The result is within my expectations and I can sit back and relax after setting it up for ironing my shirt. Consider the hours I saved from ironing, I probably will be able to make it worth pretty soon.
Jonathan contacted me various point to make sure I can get the best out of this product.

Skeptic but proven wrong
I was skeptical, and so was my wife, but we decided to give it a try and ended up being pleasantly surprised.
It does make far less noise than I expected.
Now, if I don’t have any shirts ironed in the morning, they pretty much take care of themselves while I enjoy my morning coffee.

I really enjoy using the Scanovus Ironing Machine
I really enjoy using the Scanovus ironing machine. I have fancy western shirts that are difficult to manually iron. The Scanovus is very effective and gentle on the shirt to iron and does a great job. Since I don’t like to iron , the Scanovus solved that problem.

Første gang jeg brugte det automatiske strygejern, blev resultatet ikke helt som forventet. Jeg prøvede at vaske noget af mit tøj og stryge det igen, og jeg må sige, jeg blev positivt overrasket. Det så ud som om, jeg havde bestilt nyt tøj.

Ordering was really easy
Ordering was really easy, the shipping was quick and efficient. It would be good if they made it clearer about import fees to the UK (For me that was over £50) but the product works great and is a really quick and easy way to get ready for work in the morning.

OK for the money
I was very curious about an expensive product that is basically a hot fan with a balloon on it. There are not many competitors out there and most customers who have bought one will not have tried an alternative product when they bought this and gave a review. This is also my case. The delivery was fast and without problems.
I noticed that the one in the local supermarket is 500 DKK while Scanovus is around 1200.
The one in the supermarket only has the shirt functionality while Scanovus has shirt, shoes and pants. My impression is that it is pricey for a hot air fan with a balloon but it does its job. The product feels very much like an OEM product. The plastic does not feel premium quality. The cable is hard to fit back into the back. The shoes attachment are not symmetrical. One sits a lot higher than the other. The instructions are written in bad English and require clips to be attached even though there is no need for the clips.
The automatic ironing works but I would allow 20-25 min per garment and only use on damp clothes that just came out of the washer. Collars are the most visible part if not properly straightened and with the machine, it is the last part to get straight. It is faster than ironing but it still takes time to set up each garment properly. The promotional video shows people eating next to the machine. I measured 50 DB on my phone so I would not do that myself.
It does make having straight clothes a lot easier and very fun for kids. It works with shirts and pants. The shoe functionality seems a bit inefficient but it beats having to stand around with a hair dryer on a pair of shoes.
Ironing was something I used to do once every few months and now it is easy enough that I can pick out a couple of garments to straighten after every wash.
The room does get hot because it is a fan heater. So, it is not very suitable on hot summer days.
The machine is not cheap but after trying it out, I decided to keep it because there is value in my clothes being straight even if it was a polo shirt or a t shirt.

Hurtig levering og et super produkt. Vi har haft maskinen i under en uge nu og har strøget adskillige skjorter. Det virker så godt.
Til eventuel produktudvidelse ville en opbevaringspose være genial. Der er forholdsvis mange dele til maskinen 😅🙏

I’m in the UK, I ordered this after doing extensive research and even though there are other more affordable options in the Uk on Amazon etc. this brand by far came out on top. It does a really good job. I wanted this purely for linen shirts. You can’t iron linen shirts, this saves time and effort of going to the professional dry cleaners. It works so well! I am so happy with it, my linen shirts look new. You do have to make sure it’s all flat, the buttons done up and use the weights. As long as you follow all that it is so worth it. There is a TikTok review as well so you can see it working on there. I knew I’d have to get a plug for uk (I already had one) so no problem there. Very happy customer and if you wear linen shirts this is a must. I can’t comment on anything else because my goal was linen shirts and that’s all I’ve used it for so far. Excellent product, thank you.
