Excellent price and excellent product the shipment arrived fast and intact. This is my favorite scent ever and to find it through scents event for a fraction of the price is magnificent. Will purchase through them again.

I ordered a 30 mL decant of a fragrance I love that is now discontinued as well as several samples. The decant is NOT the same perfume -- maybe a watered down version? But doesn't even really smell the same. The samples I am suspicious about, many of them have very poor performance and are from brands I've sampled before that typically have very good performance. I emailed the company and was told that I could return the decant and get a refund; I would have to pay for the return shipping cost. I complained about the samples and all I got was that they are using the original decants and they would not refund me. I will not make the mistake of shopping from this company again as they are selling fake or watered down fragrances. I hope someone will read this review and not waste their money, as I did.

My last post about Scentsevent was deleted for breaching Trustpilot guidelines so I’ll keep this simple. Do not buy from Scentsevent, they do not sell genuine fragrances (I had mine lab tested!).

You can say they’re genuine fragrances, but I know for a fact they’re not. I asked Scentsevent to send a photo with my name written on a piece of paper next to the perfume you say you decanted from; I am yet to see proof that you even have the genuine perfume in your possession.
The decant you sent was not genuine and you stopped returning my emails.

Let me tell you this...I have worn Creed Aventus and pure white since they came out in 2010, and 2011 respectively. I have purchased from decanters and the Creed headquarters in NYC as well as several other luxury outlets never had an issue. I bought Aventus from Scentsevent and Scentsevent is diluted with rubbing alcohol you can smell it in the fragrance. they do the same thing with the Pure White too. Why would they you ask? to get more $$$$ out of the bottle of fragrance. STAY AWAY from these thieves. they are liars and prey on people who don't know Creed as well as I do, wearing it for over 10+ years . They WILL REFUND my money. I'm also reporting them to Creed as well as Office of inspector General for fraud and theft by deception. Yes they are authentic Creed but diluted heavily with rubbing alcohol. I see that Scentsevent has replied. However, I have purchased Aventus and pure white from others that smell AUTHENTIC, Scentsevent.com may be authentic but diluted and altered. There are better decanters out there, all above board and trustworthy. Unlike Scentsevent.

Scentsevent fragrance decant performance and aroma are not at all like the authentic fragrance. I think it’s fake.

On the reviews here, scentsevent claims that if your write to them, they will clear up the issue. But when I wrote to complain, they have not responded, leaving me to dispute the charge with my credit card.

Now here on Trustpilot they dispute the review I have left saying they have no record of my order… it’s a lie.

Overall, a very poor experience.

Ordered 2 samples/decants [Frederic Malle The Moon 10ml - Roja Parfums Diaghilev 5ml] from ScentsEvent at a great price. There was initially a problem with the shipping, but customer service reached out & let me know that they would deal with usps directly & if they couldn't resolve it they would ship out again asap. Kept me in the loop the entire time & they arrived today VERY securely packaged in quality glass vials with great sprayers. The attention to detail and doing what they say was/is greatly appreciated. Highly recommend them for your fragrance needs...

I placed several orders with them thinking they were a legitimate company. They are not. I should have done my due diligence. They have actually 'sponsored' a few reviewers on YouTube to appear legitimate. I'm finding all this after the fact.

I am not a newbie to fragrances. I own several bottles purchased from brick and mortar retailers including Sephora, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Ulta, to name a few . When I opened several items from my orders from Scentsevent including Layton, Naxos, Tuxedo, I could immediately tell they were counterfeits. They had a strong smell of alcohol and didn't come close to the scent of the genuine products.

Scentsevent is a scam and I hope others who have been similarly duped step up and help shut down this fraudulent company. Amazon Pay and other pay vendors should not lend their credibility to such companies. Don't believe the positive reviews for them here. They are fakes.

After they scam you and you realize you have been scammed, they will issue you a partial refund to cover their backs. They claim it's for restocking and return shipping. So they make money off of unsuspecting victims through sale price and partial refunds.

Avoid them. You have been warned!!!

I ordered a big decant of Armani Prive Encens Satin, which is discontinued scent and of which I still have my own bottle, so I know how great it smells. What I received was like watered down bug spray, not even remotely similar to Encens Satin.
I agree with other negative reviewers - STAY AWAY!

NOTE: pay attention to the positive "reviews" of this business. They come in waves AFTER any bad reviews. For example: in all of March, no reviews. Two negative reviews in April and suddenly there are a bunch of positive reviews telling you to "give this man your money!!!" and "100% genuine." My advice: keep your money and spend it at a more trustworthy business.

Given this company's concerted effort to explain away any negative reviews, the positive reviews, which all conveniently mention "100% authentic," seem *incredibly* suspect.

Instead of addressing their bad business practices (which is what a good, genuine, and caring company would do) this company instead responds by claiming the reviewer is not a "real" customer or they are a repeat reviewer. So, let me make a few things clear: (1) this is my FIRST review, not a repeat reviewer trying to attack their business; (2) I DEFINITELY purchased from Scents Event; (3) they DEFINITELY sent me an inauthentic fragrance. I went to the store recently to test the 2020 version I tried to purchase from Scents Event and it was VERY different; and (4) I have emailed twice, used their website embedded chat service once, and DMed them on Instagram once, and I have gotten ZERO response.

I ordered Dior Homme Intense. I know exactly what it smells like. Everyone knows what it smells like. What they sent me was VERY different from DHI. At first, I thought it was an honest mistake. I reached out and didn't even ask for a refund. I actually enjoyed whatever fragrance they sent and was curious if they could give me the name. I have now reached out four different times in two weeks and have gotten zero response. Most recently, I finally asked for a refund.

Based on other customers' experiences, the company's conduct, and their responses, this isn't just bad business, it's appears to be INTENTIONAL business. This is apparently their business model. They seem to send cheap or diluted fragrances to people who purchase expensive fragrances, and that is a scam. Luckily, I was only scammed out of $10.

Scents Event: don't tell me to contact you "directly" with your email address (info @ scentsevent.com). I already have the email address. You ignored me.

NOT LEGIT. STAY AWAY.

EDIT: after my post, they finally responded to my emails and said that I'm mistaken, they sent me the "correct" 2020 version of the fragrance. They offered my $10 refund only if I returned the fragrance they sent. I told them that I've smelled the 2020 version and what they sent me was fake and I am not paying $10 in shipping to get a $10 refund. Then they offered me a 50% refund, and I could keep the fragrance, so long as I take down my review. As you can see, my review is still up.

EDIT #2: they've flagged my review, are emailing me multiple times a day, and fighting tooth and nail to get Trustpilot to take my review down. This is my honest review of my experience with this company, and I believe future customers have a right to know of the risk.

Before I start, I am a student at one of the top 15 universities in the US, if that adds any credibility to my review. As a fragrance lover who has multiple niche fragrances, I decided to give this company a go after seeing the YouTubers promoting scents event. But I totally regret the decision. I should have trusted the bad reviews before purchasing from here. Let me share my experiences:

First, the decant was packaged with a half-ripped USPS flat mail envelope and taped inside the box. That is no way to package an item if you call yourself a legitimate company.

Second, the decant had an oily substance on the cap and was leaking. I took a video of the unboxing and you can clearly see that the label that they put on the glass vial is wet. 

Third, the color is totally off. The correct color should be a clear to very subtle yellow. The decant was completely orange.

Fourth, the smell was off. Nothing like the authentic decant from other decant services or the ones I have tried before at fragrance stores. 

Fifth, the smell is really toxic. Despite not spraying it, the smell filled my room to the point where I had to put the vial inside a Ziploc bag and hide it.

I do not recommend buying directly from them through credit or debit cards because you will not get your refund. Just don't buy from them.

Update: Scentsevent keeps trying to take down the review, but I will not let that happen. I wish I could add a picture to show the half-ripped packaging and leaked substance, but there are no ways to add pictures to the reviews.

Purchased sample and it was obviously watered down. Wasn’t even the right color. Forget these guys.

Terrible!! This company did NOT send an AUTHENTIC fragrance! I'm not sure if it was watered down but it DEFINITELY was NOT legit! BEWARE!! Notice they're no negative reviews on their site!! Even KKW's site posts your review whether it's good or bad! I purchased a few samples from this company over the past year. 3 fragrances that I actually know and have had. They are NOT the same!!! Please save your money and buy elsewhere! Shame on you!!!!

This company clearly fluffs their ratings. If you look at the frequency, the good ratings really start to come in after a slew of truthful negative ones.

It’s a simple game. The company itself has to flag reviews to be removed so they just create a bunch of positive ones, don’t remove them, and then do as much as humanly possible to remove the negative. They just recently tried to remove my review saying it was for a different company. They are so full of it.

Beware people, these fragrances are not authentic!!

Wrong, I ordered from you and I speak of my genuine experience. I wouldn’t have come back so long as you didn’t try to remove my review of my experience with your business. That is what this trustpilot is for, honest reviews of my dealings with you, whether you like it or not. So quit lying and trying to remove my review by saying all sorts of BS like I am reviewing the wrong company, or I have not purchased from you. Sure, you refunded me for the fake products you sold, but my experience with you, then and now, is still truthful, however negative it may be.

This website sells illegitimate/counterfeit fragrances. I ordered samples of 5 fairly expensive fragrances a couple months back, as testers were not available at my usual fragrance counters due to the pandemic.

Fast forward to this month - COVID restrictions have lifted and I've finally been able to go to the department store and try 3 of the aforementioned 5 fragrances I got from Scents Event. Compared side by side with the authentic version, it is clear that the decants I received from Scentsevent are 100% counterfeit or diluted. One in particular - Baccarat Rouge 540 - clearly has a pungent, sharp scent of rubbing alcohol that lingers for minutes after application.

This company is flagging honest reviews on Trustpilot, hoping to sweep this all under the rug. They will reply to your review publicly, asking you to email them, but in reality they ignore all attempts at communication and even have the audacity to block customer emails. I have not gotten a single reply about this issue.

To Scents Event: I have also posted on Reddit, Fragrantica, and Basenotes about this issue so that other potential customers can be aware of these dishonest practices. My order number is #242282. You clearly have no intent to do right by your customers, but you can either refund me $63.03, or you continue denying that I purchased from you and I will have no choice but to file a chargeback with my bank.

Edit: I have an order number, confirmation email, and shipping email from you as well as the exact billing amount. I provided all these to Trustpilot. This is the only review I have written. Clearly, there has been more than one person scammed by your company. Your claims that I never ordered from you are as illegitimate as your products.
