Excellent communication with Sales (Ged Maloney), surveyor and the fitters (Paul & Lee) - very pleased with the job.
Paperwork (all emailed) said to pay the balance, on completion, to the fitters and gave details for paying by cheque. I twice rquested Bank details for transfer, these were not forthcoming. Fitters could not take a cheque; nor the Chelmsford showroom. Please update your paperwork to remove cheque payment as an option.

Gregg was our first point of call who was outstanding and took the time to help with our pre order installation . We had a great survey done by Colin again very professional to make sure everything was correct before installation .

We first used Sehbac 15 years ago at our previous house. The whole experience was very good and the windows and doors of good quality. We had a salesman who came round David Townsley who explained all well.
We decided to use them again because of our previous experience. Before I go any further the fitter Tony was excellent. Twice the wrong windows turned up and their install dept blamed it on us, even though the design was there in front of them. We had patio doors fitted, within a month the handle wouldn’t lock. This took them 3 weeks to attend. Within 48 hours the same again. Different person turned up again another 3 weeks. Then one of the patio doors leaked ruining a new carpet they said 3 weeks and couldn’t come any sooner even though water was coming through the door onto the carpet. Now one of our windows do not close properly. I rang up and frankly the customer service was very rude saying they had sent me a email, which I still haven’t received and again 3 weeks. It is because of where I live and no services out this way. I live in a large town 20 miles from their depot so a 30 to 40 minute drive depending on traffic. Now thinking about a conservatory but will be looking somewhere else. A shame really, because they used to be so good and efficient.

We recently had our old conservatory replaced by SEH BAC, and we could not be more delighted with the results. The entire team did a brilliant job from start to finish. We cannot praise their staff and guidance enough—they truly are fantastic people to deal with.
Dave and Carl, who carried out the fitting, were both extremely friendly and thoroughly professional throughout the process. Their attention to detail and dedication to their work were evident every step of the way.
Cliff and Kevin oversaw the project and consistently went out of their way to assist us, ensuring everything ran smoothly and addressing any questions we had promptly.
We also want to mention Mark Harris, who was incredibly helpful and accommodating when we needed to delay the start of the project. His understanding and support made the process much less stressful.
Overall, we highly recommend SEH BAC to anyone considering home improvements. Our experience has been exemplary, and we are extremely grateful to the entire team for their professionalism, friendliness, and outstanding service.

Amazing customer service every part of the way. We had a conservatory built 10 years ago and we remain delighted with it. I needed info about installation when I was selling the house. They went out of their way to help me. Exceptional service.

Fabulous service from start to finish

I ordered two new doors and the service throughout has been exemplary.

Everyone who I dealt with has been a real credit to the Company - Mark at the Chelmsford showroom who helped with the order, Scott, the surveyor (who came out the following day!) and a very special mention to John and Paul, who installed our doors. They were a pleasure to have around, tidy, courteous, worked incredibly hard, on a very cold day, and did a wonderful job.

Our new doors look fantastic, were delivered ahead of expectations and we even had a visit from Gary at the end of the day to follow up. Very satisfied and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Darren and Tyler who fitted the doors were absolutely amazing. Did an incredible job and were so friendly and answered all the questions we had. The doors look amazing and the fit is incredible. We could not be happier. Just to say again Tyler and Darren are an absolute credit to the company.

A very professional company, that kept us informed and turned up when they said they would. The installers Ryan & Connor, were effecient and courteous, and got staright into the job. We had 2 replacement doors and a window, fitted very quickly. Manager Gary showed up at the end of the job and explained the door locks to my wife.

Marc & Nigel, who did the installation this morning, were clean, professional and helpful, they didn't waste any time just got on with the job. There was no mess when the windows were fitted as they automatically cleaned up after themselves. Marked improvement on some workmen.
If you are looking for new windows or doors these are the people to use.

Brilliant service

I chose this company again because they previously carried out two conservatory projects for me to a good standard. Based on that experience, I expected a similar level of professionalism. Unfortunately, this installation did not live up to those expectations.

While the window installation itself was completed, I experienced serious issues regarding billing and site care. I was invoiced £1,560 (including VAT) for an itemised scaffold to the rear elevation. That scaffold was not supplied or installed. A different and more limited access arrangement was used instead. Despite raising this promptly and paying the undisputed balance, the company maintained that the majority of the scaffold charge was still payable.

In addition, the workmen left a significant amount of debris on the top-floor rainwater gutter/parapet, including wood chips, metal fragments and screws. I have photographs of this. The area had to be cleaned separately to avoid blockage and potential damage, and I was not compensated for the cost of arranging this clean-up.

I attempted to resolve these matters amicably over several weeks, but the issues could not be resolved. The dispute has now been referred to the small-claims process and is awaiting a decision.

Given my previous positive experiences, this outcome was particularly disappointing. Prospective customers should ensure that access and scaffolding charges are clearly defined in advance, that what is invoiced matches what is actually supplied, and that the site is thoroughly checked after works are completed.
