Really insultingly poor service
Really insultingly poor service. Their website had an error where they were offering something that was not available (a variety of fonts for personalisation, when they actually only offer black), so I did not receive what I ordered. When I contacted to notify them of this, not even requesting a refund just giving them the heads up, they immediately went on the defensive, denying there was an issue or any responsibility for their own site offering something they could not provide. I sent them my confirmation e-mail from them, where it clearly states I ordered a specific colour font that wasn't black, but they said it didn't say that on the order details they received before producing the item - the confirmation e-mail was from them! If they're not receiving accurate details of orders made on their own site, they probably need to fix that and not blame customers for it. They've since removed the option to select different coloured fonts, I noted this and said it at least shows they were conscious there was an error - they responded with a weird remark about how they wouldn't alter their website to engage in some sort of 'cover-up' over one order. Didn't really appreciate the implication a customer with a very valid complaint must be paranoid for taking issue with a clear error on their part - that's gaslighting really. I really didn't think they were covering anything up either - I just thought they were professional enough to respond to a customer complaint by fixing the oversight that caused it! Apparently not. I honestly would be recommending this company if they responded to my initial e-mail with 'sorry', instead they felt the need to tell me I'm wrong. All this after dispatch of the item was delayed so I didn't actually get to give it to the person I bought it as a gift for until after their actual birthday.
So, don't make the mistake I made - swerve this company: nice slippers but not worth the stress.

Faulty products / customer service
In December 2021 I purchased 2 pairs from the 'faulty' range Sheepers did a hard sell on. I bought a pair before so I was confident I knew what I was buying. A few days ago the right foot on a pair completely fell apart. I immediately reported this to Sheepers with accompanying photos. I received the following (unedited)

I responded, pointing out I did not think there was anything to smile about, and offering me a faulty product to fix a faulty product is not my idea of good customer service. And, I did not have a cobblers stitching set!I I also added that I had almost tripped over, when the shoe fell apart. I mentioned this to be a warning to them of the dangers of these faulty slippers.

On this occasion, we believe that the slippers have met our standards and we will not be able to offer you an exchange or refund.
We are committed to providing quality products to our customers and can therefore offer you 15% discount on your next pair of slippers. Due to the nature of the slippers, namely that they are handmade from sustainably sourced sheepskin, they must only be worn indoors and cannot be machine washed.
They also sent a link to further care instructions. Umm! so now the issue is whether I looked after them or not?
The mark of a good business is not whether anything goes wrong, as it will sometimes. I judge a business by how they respond and address problems. I will not purchase from Sheepers again.

I love my Sheepers slippers! They are bare far the most resilient and comfiest slippers I’ve had in a long time. They’ve lasted 4/5 years and I honestly can’t recommend enough!

Poor customer service
I have purchased several pairs of slippers for my partner over the years but won't be returning again.
Royal mail delivered my slippers to the incorrect address, which I tried to rectify with them direct.
Due to me not being the sender I had to request that sheepers assist with raising a case with royal mail.
Refusal to help by sheepers as its not there issue:
"Unfortunately, it seems your order was delivered to the address you entered into your order, therefore any errors made upon entering your address would not be something we can unfortunately replace."
The delivery address i entered was correct but its clearly not my house in the photo on the tracking.
I am stuck between at rock and a hard place with two companies refusing to help and passing blame.
Such a shame I am over £40 out of pocket with sheepers not willing to open a case with royal mail, it's not that hard is it?
Poor customer service.

I love my sheepers slippers they are so comfy and the quality is good. This is my second pair, my slippers get a lot of use and they lasted much longer than any other brand I have bought.

I love my gloves
I love my gloves, they're so supple sheep skin fit perfectly. The soft lining kept my hands warm this past winter. Excellent product. I highly recommend this store. They give stellar customer service and fast shipping too!

I really wanted a pair of sheepers…
I really wanted a pair of sheepers after seeing them on part time working mummy’s Instagram, so at the start of the first lockdown I bought some. I’m now ashamed to say that I just didn’t give them the chance they deserved. I didn’t wear them to realise just how comfy they can be! I ended up gifting them to someone local for Mother’s Day but a few months later I tried again. After wearing them for a day or two they became so so soft and moulded to my feet. You have to trust the process, they will soften with wear and become an essential item for your feet! Over a year later and Ive just bought my 5th pair of sheepers, I wear them all and have them all dotted around my house! My son has a pair (after stealing mine despite being too big!) as does my 3 year old daughter. We absolutely love Sheepers! I always wanted to try the slip kit but didn’t like the combinations offered but now they have released a pick n mix slip kit. They are going to be so dreamy when made up! The packaging is so lovely and well presented. The instructions look really clear so I’m excited to get stuck in! I’m a firm sheepers fan and always recommend them. We love sheepers 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Terrible customer service
Purchase 2nd pair and was sent a size 3 instead of a 4. Tried them on realised too small returned them. Was then told they were a size 4 because it was written on the bottom, I insisted they check slipper size which they did they then agreed they were a size 3. Have now informed me because they were ‘worn’ which they were not they will not refund. Shocking customer service.

Falling apart - UPDATED
Bought two pairs at Christmas - one for me and one for my teenage daughter. She didn't like the look of them, so I ended up with both! The first pair lasted about 6 weeks, and the second pair are now ready for the bin too. They are literally falling apart at the seams, with holes where you wouldn't expect, like at the top of the shoe.
The slippers themselves look lovely, but the quality is not there when it comes to how they are made. Would not recommend nor buy again. I have had cheap slippers from budget fashion stores last me A LOT longer. Am disappointed, as I liked the style of the slipper.
I would also like to note the sizing seemed to be inconsistent - I ordered two pairs of size 6s. The first pair were a perfect fit, the second pair were very loose.
**EDITED TO UPDATE MY EXPERIENCE: After posting this review, sheepers emailed me asking for my order number which I replied with. They then went on to post a public reply on Trustpilot saying I had never contacted them. I didn't bother contacting them before my review as I read the reviews here and saw they don't have a good track record when things go wrong. They DID have contact with me after my review and know I ordered from them with proof of the receipt I sent them. They made NO effort to rectify things.
They have now asked Trustpilot to verify my review, otherwise it will be deleted - I tried to login to my Sheepers account so as I could get a copy of my invoice, but they seem to have deleted my account. When I tried to login with my email it said 'unknown email address' same when I tried to reset my password. Luckily I had a copy of my invoice in my email account and have passed it on to Trustpilot to verify my order with them. I am guessing they were hoping I didn't verify this with Trustpilot and then this review would have been deleted in 3 days.
Not very professional behaviour. Neverless, I will email their help desk and inform them of a problem which they are obviously aware of as they have replied to this review and will update this review with their response.
UPDATED #2
I emailed the company on 12 March at 08.32am. I have copies/screenshots. In the email I enclosed pictures of screenshots of my account showing it no longer existed and pictures of the faults in the slippers. I got an automated response from Sheepers saying it would be looked into within 72 hours, and upon now just checking I have received an email from which I responded to, contrary to what has been written here. No resolution - not a big surprise. Wish I could post pictures on trustpilot to show the quality of their work.
BOTTOM LINE IS: I am out of pocket. As an unhappy customer I would advise people to spend their money elsewhere.

I love the pixie slippers and was…
I love the pixie slippers and was thrilled to have them as an xmas present. One of them came apart at the seam in February. I have never worn them outside and treat them gently. When I wrote to Sheepers they were brilliant. They acknowledged it was a rare error in their hand made products and after seeing the photos which clearly showed the thread had come apart they send me a voucher and I was able to order a new pair which are now on their way to me. Excellent product and superb customer service - thank you Sheepers!

Slipkit
I purchased a slip kit after being brought a pair of sheepers for Christmas, I absolutely loved making it, the fact that there is a video to watch as well as a manual really helped me, I usually really struggle with making things and have no patience but I absolutely loved every minute of making these and now when someone says I like your slippers I can say "thanks, I made them!" 😁

Reached a happy resolution
My intial review was one of displeasure as my query had not been resolved and like many reviews, the after sale customer service was initially awful. However, once my query reached the right person my issue was resolved in a timely and competent fashion. I stand by the fact I do not rate the mens mules slippers, they fell apart…BUT I have had several pairs of the women’s sheepers slippers and mules and they have been fabulous and I have even gifted them and I would highly recommend those. So my 4 stars are for the womens slippers but I would give 0 stars to the mens mules.

Lovely quality item, have not taken them off since buying them! Would recommend and definitely buy from here again. This is now my third pair of slippers in this style,but in comparison to the first two from other places,my Sheepers feel sturdier, well made and the wool is so fluffy and nice! Thank you!
