I bought biker boots from Shoelace online.The website was easy to navigate and purchasing was also easy. It gave the option to click and collect which is handy if you live close by. My shoes were delivered very quickly. When the boots arrived, they were exactly as described. I would order again from Shoelace

Hi, I recently received an order 56048, Nude pointed toe heeled midi boots, size 39, ordered on 17/3/23, received on 24/3/23, on arrival the left boot has a scratch mark on the top outer side and the box is dented and damaged. I contacted the shop on the 26/3/23 as I opened the package on that day and spoke to Renick, whom was extremely abrupt and rude when I started to explain what the issue was, he started saying just return the package and that to place the sticker in the box, I asked him would I get the cost of postage refunded as it states on the returns policy that this is refunded if the product is damaged, he just repeated the same thing over again, I asked him his name and if he was the manager and he said he wasn’t the manager and then when I asked him the name of the manager he stated that he was the manager, I informed him that he just told me he wasn’t the manager, to my dismay and disgust, he hung up the phone.
Before returning this item, I have taken pictures of the boots and the box as it was damaged on arrival.
I find this type of behaviour very rude and extremely consumer unfriendly, I also find that the customer service follow up is not very compelling to instil confidence in purchasing online from shoelace.

Hello, thank you for your message and feedback.
I would just like to confirm that you did indeed call to inform us that there are marks on the shoes you recieved ,and that you are looking for a refund for the package and shipping.
I would like to clarify that i then informed you that you will need to fill out the return form, and write on it that you are looking for a refund for product and shipping because product faults.
At this point you were looking for assurance that you will get immediately refunded, to which i said unfortunately I could not say until the shoes are arrived back in the store.The reason this cant be confirmed over the phone is because we have to pass it to the person who sent your package , as she was the one who seen and prepard it and she would need to then contact you to sort out details .Im sure you can understamd that we cant just give a refund , without seeing or recieving the shoes first , which would be the case with most stores .When you tried to give me your details on the phone i told you there is no need simply because all of your details will be on the return form, clear for us to see and convenient for looking up your details on the system .These questions and replies were repeated once again , before i then informed you that i am with the clients and i would have to go . I will be the first to hold my hands up and say that I perhaps did not handle our conversation as best as i could have , and for that I apologise . I had a very busy shop with customers waiting , and I had given you all the relevant information , but I do acknowledge how I came across abrupt at that point . I will be able to call you tomorrow and organise collection of the package from you by courier , and we can then start the next step as soon as we recieve the package . Hope this has helped , we like to think we always try our best ro provide the customers with confidence in our services 🙏
