It has now been 3 years since I ordered this. Support has stopped responding to me. Completely unacceptable. Refund me or deliver the product.

I'm considering taking this order situation up with consumer affairs and following the chain to either get my product shipped, or a full refund on the money I have spent,

It's not ok that I haven't heard from anyone on the shrooly team regarding this, well over a year from giving their company over $500 Aus during early development in Feb 2023.

Even if the product is good, their team is clearly not. Do not invest.

I was an early backer and placed my order in 2023, but I still haven't received anything. I've contacted customer service repeatedly, but they don't seem genuinely interested in finding a solution and tried to charge me additional shipping fees, which I had already paid. They're probably hoping to wait it out and that I'll simply forget about it.

I placed my order, ID #526, on June 26, 2022, and I still have not received the device. I have followed up with customer service and received replies on March 20 and April 4, but I still do not have a firm shipping date, a clear explanation of where my order stands in the fulfillment process, or any meaningful resolution.

I contributed in good faith with the expectation that early backers would be prioritized, or at minimum kept informed with transparent updates.

I was one of the very first backers of this project, placing my order back on August 12, 2022. Since then, I have watched years go by without ever receiving my Shrooly device or even a clear timeline for delivery.

I have attempted to reach out to their customer support team three separate times to get an update on my order status, but I have received no response at all, just complete silence. It is incredibly frustrating to see a company ignore their original supporters who helped get them off the ground.

What is most shocking is that Shrooly is still actively taking new orders and processing purchases on their website. It feels highly unethical to continue selling to new customers when they haven't fulfilled commitments made to their earliest backers from nearly four years ago.

Avoid this company unless you want to lose your money and get nothing in return.

This is a scam. I purchased in Feb 2023 and have received nothing. They ignore all attempts at contact. Do not purchase. Check Gemini, it will confirm. Even those few who do actually receive a product show that it is buggy and confirm product support is non-existent

16 months and $350cad had bought nothing but disappointment, frustration and a couple Hollow platitudes.

After repeatedly nagging the company, I waited over 2 years to get the actual grow unit. I paid for and have never received the pods that were to come with it.

What class action suit? I'd join.

I spent well over $500 dollars on an order for the growing chamber and a pod subscription back in 2022. However, to date I have received nothing despite sending them multiple inquiries.

On their website, they currently claim to be shipping to new customers within days, but evidently they won't honor previous orders. The founders are scammers, so please don't support this unethical company.

I purchased a unit and pods before production 2 years ago. Until 6 months ago I received regular updates. No Moe updates and I can no longer get any responses from email. I’m thinking they went out of business or it’s a scam.

Scam company. I was unlucky enough to actually receive my unit. Which means I can’t claim any kind of refund. This joke of a company went under and isn’t responding to any messages. But the worst part is they bricked their existing products because the app doesn’t work. I hope the creators get sued.

I preordered a unit in 2023 for just under $400. The first year there were regular updates on progress of the new units and estimated shipping dates. 2024 came around and there were less updates. 2025 no updates and customer service is nonexistent. I have sent tons of requests for information on my unit or a refund and I haven’t received any word. Just silence. I am really upset that they basically just stole $400 bucks and aren’t even pretending to care. So crappy.

I supported this project on Indiegogo in 2022 and received updates until June 2025 - after that, nothing. No item received, no response to multiple emails requesting an additional update, if not the actual project. What began as an exciting idea has not ended: I will still email them occasionally, but I have little hope I will ever see the item. Do not support a company that does not support its backers.

I backed this product back in 2022. I’ve never received any products from them even though I purchase two. I saw it on Amazon and I’ve seen it in their website telling me it’s available. No one responds to my inquiry but a chat bot. No updates for over a year. This company is not legit and they don’t stand behind the people who spent money backing and supporting them. It looked so promising and like such a cool idea but there are several new companies out there that actually ship your product so I would recommend checking them out.

This is a scam. I ordered the unit in April 2023 and I’ve asked multiple times for clarifications about shipping. They are no longer responding. Scam. There should be a lawsuit.

Below is an email I sent their customer service team over 2 months ago now. I pre-purchased 3 units and several pods well over 3 years now and their customer service is worse than anything I have ever seen or dealt with and I have owned and run my own company for over 30 years now. Disgusting people and they need to have a class action taken out against them.

Anyone who reads this and agrees please respond and I will see if I can get a legal firm onboard to take action as these people need to be held accountable for their disgusting company that is taking new orders and fulfilling them every day but are not taking any action to fill all those like myself who helped support them and get the business up and running in the first place.

Please find attached email chain in relation to 3 x Shrooly’s I purchased and paid for in full almost 3 years ago now.

Every delivery ETA has passed time and time again so can you please confirm when all 3 of these as well as all of the mushroom pods I also ordered and paid for ASAP.

If you cannot give a definitive date for delivery then please send me back a full refund of purchase price including 3 years’ worth of interest as this is now ridiculous and the fact that I always have to chase this up has run its course and I am not willing to be lied to any longer.

Please advise which option you will be taking.

I backed the company in 2023 and bought this as my birthday present. I have never received my shrooly and have not had any contact since August of 2025. Please ship my shrooly or refund my money.

I paid over £700 to support the Shrooly startup nearly 4 years ago and still haven’t received my devices. There are some ridiculous “order completion” hoops you have to jump through to get the shipping activated. They send you a link to a “guide” which is just an error message. Now I’m seeing messages online that they’re going out of business? I’m not surprised. Great idea but some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced

They took my money and ghosted me. Never shipped the product, refused a refund and now don't even respond at all when I reach out.

Without a doubt this company is fraudulent. I have sent many messages including those in the last 12 months in 2025 and the product not being delivered and they keep saying it's coming. I made my order in March, 2023 and still have not received the device and pods. Their website says delivery within 5 days for the United States and I'm waiting almost 3 years later. I will be filing multiple compaints. Clearly, they don't care at all about those that were the early adapters. I was so excited about this product and now I'm so disappointed in their lack of response and caring
