So got scammed been waiting a year to get it now guess it’s never going to get here it was just a birthday/Christmas gift have tryed getting ahold of yall many times like no one even works there

It works. It was rather cool to grow mushrooms like that without effort of spraying water every few hours to maintain humidity. The real hard part was to wait and watch the colonization but if shrooly sends you a fully colonized pod, then it’s basically plug and play. They are always out of stock of pods so I bought some spores online to inoculate the pod that came with the box. This device is neat, does the job with ease so overall is cool but I’m not sure what’s happening with the company, last I checked their website doesn’t accept any orders for spare parts or pods.

Product Ordered Years Ago... Nothing Received.

I was one of the backers of Shrooly and ordered a machine and pods years ago. I waited patiently for the device and pods and was disappointed to be last in the long line of fulfilment. Imagine my surprise when I saw I could order one from them and have it here in a couple of days. I reached out in July and received a response that they were going to sort it out. Nothing. I reached out again in October, and no response. I am guessing they are out of business and if you go to their online store it won't accept payment which (hopefully) means their payment processor has stepped in.

Order Shrooly unit 2 1/2 years ago and still have not received and they are not returning emails! Not good!

Shrooly stopped shipping pods and spare parts to Europe. Such a scam now the machine is useless.

I'm one of the few in Europe I think that actually did receive a device (after about 2 years). The device itself worked ok, the app never worked, so I stopped using it. In the beginning I could still purchase pods and machine parts, but soon after my first harvest Shrooly's website changed and now only seems to ship within the U.S. They do not reply to any messages either. I strongly advice people not to purchase a device from this company, it's an empty shell.

The 5 star reviews are obviously BS lol. These guys took lots of croudfunded money, went belly up, and used your $ to travel the world. Owners Attila Berenyi, David Palanki, Samuel Schaffhauser and Adam Lipecz need to be held accountable.

They ran an Indiegogo campaign and it was funded far in excess over 3 years ago but few, if any, have received anything. They won’t update the campaign, they won’t respond to emails. They have apparently just taken our money and run, but still seem to be selling on their website. Complete scam artists with no integrity.

Three years and no product. they are liars scammers and thieves. No one in Canada are receiving their units. And the ones in the US that may have are likely paid shills and scammers themselves. Do NOT fall for this scam. There’s a class action lawsuit coming about. Be sure to join it. The last response I got from these sh*theads was that my unit was about to be sent to me but I would have to buy pods first. My sale came with pods included and I received nothing. When I went to see what they had for pods. There were none available. So a further attempt to scam money from people who put out big bucks for a unit that doesn’t exist.

If I could give zero stars I would. I ‘preordered’ a pod over two years ago and still have not seen it. I’ve sent numerous emails requesting a refund only to be told they’re still in prototype, testing etc.
This company is a total scam please don’t be fooled into losing your money.

My daughter ordered one of these units for me a few years ago, while still in development. For a while I was able to get updates. The last email that I received stated that shipments to the US had begun. That was late in 2024. Recently, I have tried a number of times to get updated information with zero response from Shrooly. I notice that their website seems to be up but when I go to update links in the emails that I had received, the links are dead. I have tried the support email as well as the hello email addresses with no response over the last number of months and attempts.

They have gone bankrupt since nid August 2025. many people have not receivef a device. Paid for many pods, they are all gone and will never receive. Spent over 250 USD on pods.

Definitely read these recent reviews before buying! Like MANY, its been over 2 years since I ordered despite multiple promises that it would come sooner. Not only that, but even their AI driven customer service has stopped responding. Complete silence. Im guessing that is indicative of some larger financial issues. I would not risk putting money into a company that is likely starting to go under. Love everything they were trying to do...so much promise, but most startups fail. Maybe the next guys will get it right.

I would steer clear of these folks. I ordered almost 2 1/2 years ago and have still not received the device. I continue to get the run-around. Buyer beware!!

NEVER RECEIVED IT, NO RESPONSE
Purchased in September of 2023. No customer service help unless it's AI and not even that anymore. Their online chat option has been removed, no telephone number and I mailed a letter to their headquarters three weeks ago and no reply.

I ordered in December 2024. I was told they would ship to the US in April 2025. I sent several emails for shipping info. The last one they did not respond. After seeing the unit advertised on Amazon I requested a refund and received an email from Susan assuring me the unit would be sent. No unit arrived and my last email went unanswered. I join the ranks of the Scammed individuals and will be contacting the Federal Trade Commission.

After waiting over two years for the machine, it has failed to produce mushrooms effectively. The company tried to claim the pods were defective... and now they have just removed any ability to order pods in Europe. They are refusing to answer customer service. This was an extraordinary waste of time and money.

Feels like a complete scam, the box will not connect to the phone and now the app won’t even log in.

No response from the live chat or customer service after emails.

Backed with an investment of 619 euros in October 2023. It's been 3 full years and nothing but lies. This "company" ripped off countless people. Look up their address on Google maps and use Streetview. They are a joke.

The device is awesome and can be used to grow almost every mushroom you can imagine. Even pods you prepared yourself.

The loss of stars is due the useless app; no matter how many times you check and reset your modem, device, cell phone... It keeps saying "no internet connection" and refuses to log you in. Customer support is not responding...

Even if they complete dissapear it can't be considered as scam as the device is amazing (you just have to switch between the preset type of mushrooms in the device itself to fit your species... It'd be more useful if it allow you to decide the light, humidity and °C yourself though) , but is a little bit disappointing paying 400+$ for a device preset for a bunch of species with a not working app and a nowhere to be found support.
