Very good price, unit was as promised and easy check in process. The team was super helpful before booking as well

I moved into Shurgard Kentish Town on a long term lease in July and then moved two weeks later into Safestore down the road. Why ? I was sent measurements of the unit I had rented at Shurgard and then when I arrived was shown something half the height. Impossible to fit my racks in. They gave me something at the height I had booked at nearly 3 times the price. They were not interested in my complaint about how misleading their booking system is and said I wouldn't find anywhere cheaper. I knew this was a lie and booked into Safestore in Camden and moved everything two weeks later. I received an automated email from Shurgard saying that I would get a refund for the weeks I hadn't used but it didn't turn up until I chased. Lots of people on Trustpilot seem happy with Shurgard so I can only say - do visit and check exactly what space you are getting and check out the local competitors. I found a much cheaper better unit a few miles away

Arrived at the storage to find the value unit is a mezzanine level storage accessed via a ladder. The booking confirmation says floor level 0 and there is no other indication that the unit is accessed via a ladder. It certainly won't be possible to get furniture in there. There was no phone call or email to let me know this was the case before i moved in. Nor was there any indication 'value' means mezzanine. The young man behind the desk couldn't care less and says you can leave but you will have to pay 2 weeks cancellation. Apparently the manager can't help nor is there a customer service. It is basically a con job!!
