Brought for Christmas! 6 weeks later not pulling the hair in although fully charged
Contacted for a repair or replacement and told 30 days cover only so touch

Wow such a great product I was so shocked how you can do so many different styles with one device by using the different temperatures and you can do a left or right curl , definitely recommend the silk wave my mum even brought one after seeing me use mine

Brought this for my daughter for Xmas, worked ok for the few times she used it, now won’t even switch on. Contacted the company who came back with as it’s been longer than 14 days nothing we can do. It’s not an item of clothing it is an electrical item, where is the manufacturing warranty??? 14 days is ridiculous, you expect an item to last longer than 14 days. There is obviously a fault in your manufacturing, but you are still happy to take peoples hard earned cash despite this.

This curler is amazing, so easy to use and very useful as its portable! Would definitely recommend!

UPDATE: got through to customer services, was asked to send video which i did, within 2 hours go a reply with a new silkwave being sent out!

Ordered this a few weeks ago, last week i received the item, did one side of the head was absoultey fine, went to turn to the right side and it just twisted my hair tight to the scalp! I contacted them that day to return and still not heard anything back! Tried it again today just beeps then turns off wont even charge! Stay clear of this product!

Ok for fine hair but would take forever if you have thicker hair. Be very careful as it easily picks up stray wispy bits and then it can tangle and jam and you end up having to tug your hair out causing breakages. I’ve been tonging my hair for years and very careful to put neat smooth strips together but this seems to catch hair and once the machine starts turning your hair is jammed. I am going back to a traditional tong because l can’t afford any more breakages.

Item was a Christmas present in Dec 2020, used once, now wont grip hair at all. Silk Wave only guarantee items for 14 days from receipt of item. So wont replace and wont reply to any correspondence. DO NOT USE COMPANY

L ho usato per la prima volta e mi sono trovata benissimo. Fantastico che si può usare senza filo quindi anche mentre si è sul divano ad esempio! Una figata!

Ho ottenuto una cascata di ricci in poco tempo, ben definiti e flessibili! Grazie al suo innovativo sistema wirless ho la possibilità di usarlo ovunque mi trovi anche in assenza di energia elettrica, per la prima volta ho fatto una ricarica lunga cinque ore come consigliato, per le successive basta aspettare che il segnale di carica sia completo. Per i miei capelli l’ho usato a 180 gradi per 12 secondi, cambiando la rotazione a destra e sinistra ho ottenuto una capigliatura perfetta ed omogenea. Lo consiglio a tutte e specialmente a chi ha poca dimestichezza con spazzola e phon!

Cheap item, doesn't create nice curls and has a continuous beeping noise for the whole time it curls so by the time you've done the whole head you are so irritated by the sound you can't wait to be finished. Also battery life is rubbish!

This is a really cheap looking and feeling device
Easy to use but you have to put really small pieces of hair in. If you have long thick hair like me it would take FOREVER. Plus the few strands I did do before I gave up did not keep the curl. Complete waste of money

Ordered mine on 25th jan and arrived in London today (2nd feb). Have only tested quickly but absolutely love it

Brought this for my daughter at Christmas, it turned up after Christmas . She used it for the first time and the battery died quickly , then tried to use it again and the barrel stopped spinning.I emailed silkwave and they saying theres nothing they can do as over 14 days !!! But its faulty !!!

I have received my silkwave today and it seems to only work when it feels like!
I must have a faulty one but cants seem to get intouch with anybody no one is getting back to me about this.
I have read the instructions and done as they as but the start button just doesnt work! I have managed yo get 2 curls on and off out of it
