Premium price, low budget service and standards!
Trust this company at your peril, they are the most unprofessional, discourteous and sub standard chalet provider I have ever encountered! They position themselves as a premium provider but cannot even get their own flight times correct, yes we started our trip with the entire flight standing around for almost an hour before check in opened! Having paid a premium price to travel to Tignes at Easter we were accommodated in a tiny room that stank of sewage (an issue that was acknowledged as known whilst in resort but subsequently denied when we contacted their ‘guest relations’, a boot room with heaters that didn’t work (also acknowledged in resort, 1 staff member even saying ‘yes the boot room is s**t!), rooms not cleaned at all during our stay and not even any fresh towels for a week (insisted we were told that this was on request despite every guest confirming that no such direction was given), fed what can only be described as a minimal breakfast of scrambled eggs, pre (over)cooked bacon and bread, with 1 pastry pp (yes it was strictly this number), jam and a few pieces of fruit, no cold meats, cheeses etc as with other providers, and adequate but very clearly low budget dinners throughout the week (we were even given a jam sandwich for breakfast on departure day!). This experience may well be largely down to the entirely disinterested resort team and lazy, breathtakingly arrogant and condescending resort manager but nonetheless to basically imply that I am lying and that their resort team dealt with everything in resort is a shining example of this companies attitude towards their guests! Apparently the resort team addressed the sewage smell straight away (this was actually after 2 days) by using drain unblock and placing a diffuser in the bathroom! This did not resolve the issue and nor did they follow up to check despite claiming otherwise. The smell only worsened, even becoming apparent to all guests upon entering the chalet (you might reasonably assume that this included Vertigo staff). If anything the resort team completely avoided contact as they had already confirmed this as a know issue through the season (and, we now know, in seasons prior!). We emphasized to the Resort Manager prior to departure that we were extremely disappointed and wanted to make sure our complete was logged and addressed formally, he insisted this had been done yet upon our return we are told that he had reported that all issues had been addressed in resort! Further the guest relations team also determined that he was being entirely honest and that we, the paying guests, were in fact lying! Everything in this review is the absolute truth as witnessed by every guest that stayed in the chalet alongside us. I can only assume according to Vertigo that they are also all liars! The response from Vertigo, as a goodwill gesture we can offer you a refund of two nights accommodation totaling £134! Based on this figure our total accommodation cost for 2 people for a week was £402, with flights and transfers apparently valued at £1200 pp! Whilst I would strongly suggest that £1200 for flights and transfers (and admin!) is laughable, the stated accommodations cost is perhaps indicative of the standards experienced! £201 pp for a weeks full board accommodation at Easter in Tignes is perhaps more in line with what they should be charging for the service provided, arrange your own flights and transfers and you might well be happy with the price even with the foul waste smell! I could go on to talk about other premium offerings such as a hot tub that was permanently covered over or a sauna which you needed to switch on for half an hour prior to using, or the canapés valued at about 3pence each but suffice to say this is a very low budget standard at a premium price, you have been warned!
Perhaps some of their chalets may be of a better standard but our experience did not even merit 1 star and I would urge anybody considering this operator to look at other chalet providers first. We have stayed with most and I can unequivocally state that from our own experience, Ski Vertigo are by far the worst!

I book group ski holidays quite often, for 2027, I decided to look at Ski vertigo, as 1) they had more chalets, 2) i have not skied using them before, 3) they were using BA as the airline.
James whom I made contact with was extremely helpful in finding a suitable solution for my group.
He was easy to contact and unlike other poroviders i have used in the past always called me back if he was unavailable at the time i called him.
We agreed a superb price for a whole chalet, which enabled us to make plans for our next ski trip and the booking was confirmed with ease.

Heading back from a great week in Val d’Isere staying in Chalet Alberta. I can’t offer enough praise for our host, Katie (and the other hosts who provided cover) and the rest of the Ski Vertigo team in resort. They really are the most charming, friendly, and service orientated individuals.
This was our first catered chalet and woud definitely do it again with Ski Vertigo. The chalet was well appointed and comfortable, the hosts amazing and the food very good - we never got a chance to be remotely hungry! Food was a very good standard and varied, catered well to a nut allergy in our group, and kept the wine flowing.
Katie and the other hosts were not remotely intrusive, quietly going about their work, but then totally charming to chat with.
We will be back!

Ski Vertigo take all the hassle out of a ski holiday. Excellent chalet accommodation and food. British airways flights at sensible times and the transfers all worked well. Chalet hosts have always been lovely. Hard to beat for an all in ski package. I did hesitate to recommend so highly in case they get all booked up next year!

Experienced & friendly booking staff. Smooth booking despite only booking 2 days before departure. All the staff we met in Val d'Isère were also friendly. Nice chalet with great food. Really enjoyed the cakes when we returned from skiing. Fab canapés & Prosecco, evening meal with wine & breakfasts. Looking forward to our next trip. Thanks vm Ski Vertigo.

First time with this company, can only say good things. The nicest chalet we have ever stayed in, great ski in and out location. Tremendous food. Professional, competent staff. Excellent value for money and fantastic customer service right through from the booking process. It seems to be a company who cares. We were a group of 10 and plan to return next year.

Fantastic holiday, we had a wonderful Chalet in Val d'Isere and the lovely team really looked after us . The food was wonderful and we couldn't fault Ski Vertigo from the booking process to the holiday itself. I would definitely book with this company again .

Disappointed
I stayed at Chalet Iceberg during the final week of the season. While the chalet hosts themselves were friendly and welcoming, the overall experience was unfortunately overshadowed by Ski Vertigo’s careless handling of guest property.
After inadvertently leaving some personal belongings behind, we reached out to Ski Vertigo, only to be met with unhelpful responses and a frustrating cycle of being passed from one person to another. At no point did anyone make a meaningful effort to locate or return our items, which was both disappointing and disrespectful. It became clear that no consideration is given to lost property, nor is there any proactive communication to resolve such issues.
The chalet itself has pleasant communal areas, but the bedrooms and bathrooms leave much to be desired in terms of comfort and upkeep.
Had Ski Vertigo shown even a basic level of care or responsibility in handling this matter, my review would have reflected the positives of the trip. Unfortunately, their indifference has left a lasting negative impression, and I cannot in good conscience recommend them.

Super smooth booking process
Haven’t been on the holiday yet. But in terms of booking, helpfulness, courtesy, etc I can’t not fault the team at Ski Vertigo. Everyone has been patient and thorough in explaining their knowledge of the resorts and chalets to assist me in choosing our holiday. It’s reassuring to actually speak with someone rather than just booking on a computer in this day and age. Looking forward to the holiday. 5 stars to the staff at Ski Vertigo offices. The reps in resort, now have a lot to live up to 😜.
