I had multiple fabulous experiences with Skydo. Timely payments, prompt responses, Prior notice of bank holidays etc. from Pradeep, Swadha to mention. Best experience is quick turn around of query from bank I was looking to secure loan from. I got the query from bank late in the day. I tried to search the FAQ's but did not get exact response. Called up Support and got connected to Swadha and resolved my query. I requested the same over an email for my bank's reference. I raised same query by emailing Support address as guided by her. I panicked after I saw that the standard SLA to respond was a day. But Swadha ensured that I got a written email response in short span of time and able to forward it to my bank with the working hours.

I am new to the Skydo platform. Have processed one trial transaction and one invoice in GBP. I must say the experience is good and communication was excellent. I got regular updates through WhatsApp, email and call at the time of invoice clearance. I was earlier using Wise for international payments, the pain point was the transaction fee which Skydo addressed. Transparency is great with Skydo. Only suggestion that I have to Skydo is to release the mobile app.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the recent experience I’ve had with your customer support and so called your "compliance team"
When I initially signed up with Skydo, I was impressed by the courteous and enthusiastic communication—especially the eagerness shown around the timing of my first transaction. However, this positive impression quickly deteriorated once the documentation was completed and the first payment was initiated.
Following that, I received a call from your Compliance team filled with irrelevant and intrusive questions about my business operations like how do you get your clients? Could you share any link how your clients contact you? Do you offer phone support, remote support? How many people work in your team, do you have a business set up or you work from home? These inquiries were not only inappropriate for a payment gateway provider, but they were also conducted over the phone, which is highly unprofessional. If you had legitimate concerns, they should have been addressed formally via email.
Moreover, the conduct of your team was far from acceptable. It appeared that the individuals I spoke with lacked basic client communication skills which made the interaction even more frustrating. Based on this questionable exchange, my account was abruptly closed and the payment reversed—without any proper explanation or due process. Then I had made numerous phone calls to their customer support and 4 emails to get a response. They don’t bother.
This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied and concerned about the reliability and professionalism of your services. I urge you to review your internal processes and the behavior of your support staff. If this is representative of how you treat your clients post-onboarding, it raises serious questions about your commitment to customer service. To make matters worse, your team called me from random phone numbers and asked for sensitive and confidential information. How am I supposed to verify if the caller is genuinely from Skydo or someone pretending to be? This raises serious concerns about the reliability and security of your processes. I highly doubt the reliability of your way of conduct and request that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) keep a close watch on your operations to ensure you are following the correct guidelines

Trying to save a few dollars on transfers through Skydo can cost you $1000+!
Here’s how they trap you:
1️⃣ First 1–2 payments go through smoothly.
2️⃣ Then they demand unnecessary documents — passport of the sender, IDs, etc.
3️⃣ Even if you submit, they’ll keep asking for more.
4️⃣ Your money stays on hold.
5️⃣ In the end, they tell your sender to charge back because they “can’t refund.”
🚫 Don’t risk your money or documents. Stay away from Skydo.

Full-compliance, Affordable and Quicker inward remittances.
First and foremost, they are compliant with the RBI guidelines. I have found plenty forex companies that can help with inward remittance, but from my research no one can go beyond Skydo.
Here's a proof of how compliant they are: on the date of experience, I received an invoice payment from a different Payee than the Client name. Skydo had to withhold my funds for compliance checks. The sooner I provided the necessary documents to match the Payee and how they are related to the Client, my funds were released and processed for settlement within 24 hours.
On top of this, I have used other forex firms (mostly foreign based firms), they don't care about being compliant be it with the funds received or the purpose codes required. All they care about is settle the funds in 24 working hours that is all, leaving you at risk. And some even charge you for the FIRA/FIRC that should be offered for free of cost.
With Skydo, I found my solution to all my freelancing-related inward remittances. I have the funds converted to INR in 24 hours, fully-compliant to RBI guidelines (giving me peace of mind!), and of course a free copy of FIRC emailed to me upon settlement in my Indian bank account. And all of that at a price that is affordable and clear from the moment I send my clients an invoice.
Another feature that I found appealing about Skydo is its invoicing system. I can create an invoice and send it across to my clients without having to leave the platform. And once the funds are received, the platform notifies both myself and the client as well. Further even thanking the client on behalf of myself. I never found this kind of a feature within any other platform, no matter how big they are.
In simple words, please choose Skydo if you are a freelancer or business in need of a platform that can process international payments in accordance with RBI regulations. You won't waste your time, money, or won't even have to visit your bank to change your inward remittance purpose codes. Everything will be sorted out from the time you are being onboarded.

RBI Guidelines Are Clear: Funds Must Be Settled Within 24 Hours
Under RBI regulations governing Online Payment Gateway Service Providers (OPGSPs) — a framework applicable to services like PayPal, Payoneer, and likely Skydo:
“The amount received by the OPGSP from the overseas buyer shall be credited to the exporter’s bank account in India within 24 hours.”
— RBI Circular: A.P. (DIR Series) Circular No. 17 (2010), reaffirmed in DPSS.CO.PD.No.1164/02.14.006/2019-20
This is precisely why PayPal and Payoneer do not hold your funds. For example:
PayPal explicitly states:
“As per RBI guidelines, PayPal cannot hold balances for Indian users. All payments are auto-withdrawn to your bank account within 24 hours.”

worst customer service its a scam after payment is processed my account got closed they told me that you will get the refund in 5 business days and now when i called there customer care number they told me that the money is in the virtual bank account and sender need to call the bank and initiate the charge back then only the sender can get the refund of the money .
i dont even have access of my account even i cannot track my payment .
please do not share your information with this company because they can make mis use of your personal information and documents .
