False marketing and bad service
I bought a 'vlogging kit' with the camera included. Once it arrived I realised it didnt come with a lens. So I emailed SLR hut asking what lens they would recommend. To which they did not respond.
I did some research and found the perfect lens for what I wanted to do. Started filming and when editing, ealised my '4k camera' was not filming in 4k!
After some research turns out the SD card supplied by SLR Hut in the vlogging kit is not strong enough to film in 4k! So do not buy the vlogging kit. As it sounds liek it has everything you need to buy and start - it does not.

I recently purchased a camera from SLRHut and had a really positive experience from start to finish. The website was easy to navigate, product information was clear, and the checkout process was quick and hassle-free.
My order was processed promptly, and the camera arrived well-packaged and exactly as described. The product was brand new, worked perfectly out of the box, and the price was very competitive compared to other retailers.
What impressed me most was the communication throughout the process. I received timely updates on my order, so I always knew what to expect. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely shop with SLRHut again. I have used SLR Hut several times over the years for my camera equipment purchases, and they continue to be my go-to retailer whenever I am investing in quality photography gear.
One of my previous purchases was a Canon 17-40mm L Series lens, which I still own and regularly use today with my Canon 7D DSLR. However, after a recent family holiday to Mauritius, I realised just how heavy and impractical my DSLR setup can be whilst travelling. Constantly changing lenses when trying to capture fast-moving moments — especially whilst spotting dolphins — became frustrating, which led me to start researching a more travel-friendly alternative.
After endless comparisons between the Canon SX740, Nikon P1100, and Nikon P950, I eventually decided on the Nikon Coolpix P950. Returning to SLR Hut for this purchase was an easy decision because I have used them before and completely trust them when making significant purchases.
One of the biggest advantages with SLR Hut is the value of their bundles. The packages they offer consistently provide far better overall value than many competitors, making the buying experience feel genuinely worthwhile rather than simply purchasing a camera body alone.
I also experienced excellent customer service during the transaction. My bank initially flagged the payment as a potential fraudulent transaction, but the SLR Hut team contacted me promptly by phone and professionally helped resolve the issue quickly and efficiently.
So why do I continue to use SLR Hut?
Simple really:

I prey my camera & 3yr protection is not going to be a problem. Unfortunately for me this has been an expensive negative experience indeed.
Few things to be aware of in the UK.
Few things to be aware of. Prices are OK, but not a lot cheaper when you factor in that there's no VAT on the products. Delivery stated 3-4 days, but they don't tell you that they don't deliver at weekend, which caused me a massive headache (delivery was through FedEx, who do deliver at weekends, but I guess SLR Hut must have stipulated not to include weekend deliveries. Not sure why. Maybe it's a cheaper option for them, I don't know). Their after service isn't great either. Tried 5 times to get through to them, but they seem to work on US time, even though the phone number is a UK one. When I did get through and tried to complain, they said they would escalate my complaint, but I then heard nothing back. They offered a voucher for my next purchase as an apology. I don't want a voucher, which forces me to buy from them again, I want my order on time for me to do my job. At no time did they tell me the lens was coming from New Jersey. You only find these things out when you track your package.
Avoid like the plague

I ordered Canon 10x30 IS II binoculars quoted as in-stock and 2-5 days delivery but they didn’t arrive. I contacted SLRhut by email (couldn’t get through on the phone) and they said the item is out of stock and it’s been discontinued. So I cancelled my order which they confirmed. They said they wouldn’t charge me but they did, so I got my bank to reverse the charge and I thought that was the end of it. I ordered the bins elsewhere and they’ve arrived. I also discovered that SLRhut are a ‘grey’ importer so you get a good price but with no guarantee.
But now SLRhut have billed me again and said my package is on its way! Fedex backed this up and it’s due to arrive on Monday. I assumed this was a clerical error and asked customer service to stop the delivery and refund my money. This time no reply. Asking google I find that this is common practice for SLRhut! Once they have your CC details you are in deep trouble. My bank are unwilling to reverse the charge a second time. It’s possible SLRhut could sort it out yet and send me a refund but I fear they won’t. Avoid like the plague!

PURCHASE OF CANON DIGITAL CAMERA MODEL IXY650 INCLUDED A 'BUNDLE' OF ACCESSORIES. FOUR OF THESE WERE NOT RECEIVED WITH THE ORIGINAL PACKAGE. PLUS NO EVIDENCE OF THE EXTENDED WARRANTY PURCHASED. 4 REMINDERS OVER 3-WEEKS HAVE BEEN IGNORED. SITUATION NOT RESOLVED.

I ordered a GoPro but bank declined payment as they didnt think it was a trusted site, so recommended I try again. I did, only for my first payment to go through and then 2 Go Pros were on order, I managed to speak with SLRHut who cancelled the delivery of one. I was told I would receive a refund once it had been received back at the Warehouse, Ive tried email, facebook message, telephoning, even their instagram but no response so far
Shipped from the USA
This is a mixed review. I ordered a Lumix TX99 bundle and considering the bundle included a case, mini tripod, sd card and spare battery, the value was about par, the bundle costing an extra £50, so reasonable value for money. The camera itself is fine and I am getting to understand how it works. The real bugbear is that although declared to be 'in stock' it actually came from the US. Had I known this I wouldn't have bought it as I have no wish to buy anything from the US
Love this company for my Canon equipment!
I have used SlrHut a couple of times now to get my genuine Canon equipment. I'm in the UK, have disability needs, & the first time was able to speak to them at length about my video/shooting requirements. Not only were they amazing in calling me back exactly when they said they would, but also getting together everything I needed as a bundle costing less than I'd have been able to get it from Canon themselves. The shipping was also amazingly quick. I have then also recently purchased the RF 100-400mm lens to go with said camera & again everything on their side went swimmingly well. The lens was also much cheaper via SlrHut than anywhere else in the UK.
I'd previously seen bad reviews for the company regarding contact. However, please bare in mind that the support is US based, so contact after 2-3pm in the afternoon when it's their morning & they actually start work!
I was looking for a decent camera.
I was looking for a decent camera for my daughter for her 50th birthdayas she wants to improve on her phone camera. I do not know anything about cameras so was in unknown territory.
I found slrhut when looking on line. Their website was so easy to use, and informative even for a 70 year old non-techy mum. I was delighted to find a 'beginners' bundle to go with a canon eos 4000D.
It arrived safely a week before the big day. We were impressed with the packaging, sturdy box and all the items in the bundle individually packaged AND LABELLED so even I could work out what was what.
My daughter was overwhelmed with her camera and everything in the bundle a very happy 50 year old.
I also liked the follow up emails checking that everything had arrived and that I was a satisfied customer. I am! and will be recommending slrhut to any family and friends wanting camera equipment or advice.

I was online searching for a camera deal for my partner birthday. When I contacted SLRHut I spoke to Henry who was very helpful. My partner does not receive the camera till next month, therefore I can’t review how good it will be until we’ve tried it out on our hol in March. The main reason is to use this jn the sea so here’s hoping it goes the job. Henry also sold me the 3 year warranty which will be good to have. Henry said to call if I have any questions so that’s helpful. The camera arrived within 5 days so good service. I’ll write another review once we have tested the camera, so far service was very good.

Overall pleased - I ordered a lens at a bargain price and received delivery in the UK in 4 days, which is impressive.
I was disappointed to learn it would not be shipped from within the UK, however. The product guarantee only covers the US market.
