Good deal, but shipped from US
Overall pleased - I ordered a lens at a bargain price and received delivery in the UK in 4 days, which is impressive.
I was disappointed to learn it would not be shipped from within the UK, however. The product guarantee only covers the US market.
Terrible service
Ordered lens still waiting supposed to coming via fed ex. Hacker tried to access my account, emailed srhut and FedEx still no reply. Will refuse delivery if it ever turns up

Poor business service
Extremely poor business service. I placed an order about two weeks ago. I couldn`t get any update regarding the order delivery. I called a week ago and I was advised it would take another week of waiting. I called today for an update, two weeks from placing the order. I was advised thre product was not availble and the order was cancelled.

Damaged Item report not processed
So my order was sent and received in good time, however one of the items in my parcel arrived damaged. I filed a report immediately via email and heard nothing back. I then rang up 4 days later and spoke to someone on the phone who said they would resolve it for me with an email to follow our phone call- this didn’t happen and I’m still waiting for this to be processed. I ordered a GoPro 13 with additional extras at the beginning of December and as of the 07th January I still have not received it. It was for my sons birthday on the 17th December and so we have missed that and Christmas.
I have called multiple times, told they will call me back after investigating but never do. Last Friday I asked for a refund, they said they would contact DHL on Monday and come back to me ...Im still waiting. Have just tried to call them again and stuck on hold for ages. The tracking App shows it stuck in Europe for over a month now

Excellent value for a great camera with so many accessories! Really impressed by everything that was included. Delivery was quite quick, with detailed tracking provided and great customer service. One of the tripods had a broken latch, after sending an email through about it, a replacement tripod was sent to us the next week.
Avoid at all costs - they don’t care.
Slrhut posted camera out and it was lost. Waited weeks trying to resolve, they wouldn’t send replacement so now my son has no Christmas present to open on Christmas Day. This company do not care. Stay away.

Firstly I'd say I was a tad apprehensive about using SLRHUT as some reviews were negative but went ahead anyway, glad I did .
I purchased a FZR adapter for my Nikon Z6 camera .
I have to say my experience was faultless from purchase to delivery. I was emailed regularly to update me on progress and delivery date was accurate.

SLRHut gave me great customer service. I bought a camera and had a small issue with a discount code. They replied fast, explained everything, and sorted a partial refund for me. The team were helpful and polite, and the whole process felt easy. I would buy from them again.
Canon EOS 2000D DSLR Camera with 18-55mm Lens, 75-300mm Lens and Accessory Bundle
Excellent quality and great price offer for the Canon EOS 2000D DSLR and accessories bundle. Order was processed quickly and received a follow up call to confirm order, although wasn't sure who it was from as call came from America and they may want to mention this when placing an order, as I don't answer international calls in case they are a scam. Packaging was great and kept everything secure with no damage to contents or outer box . Courier service was great with full tracking information and date of delivery which was less than 10 days. Excellent customer service and speed of shipping was brilliant. This is a gift for my granddaughter for Christmas, will be thinking of getting one for myself in the New Year as very impressed with the camera and bundle at a great affordable price.
Not as expected
The order took a lot longer to arrive than I expected.
The “essentials pack” which was part of the order was complete rubbish, it was supposed to have a “professional tripod” when what was sent was a terrible plastic item, which in no way would support any type of professional camera, it was supposed to have an SD card included but what was sent was a micro sd card and adapter,also it wasn’t compatible with the camera I purchased.
COWBOYS - don't click buy!
I ordered a piece of equipment from SLRHut.co.uk - more fool me.
This is not a UK site, despite having the .co.uk URL. It's based in HILLSIDE, NJ, USA.
I needed the equipment for business, therefore I needed VAT to be included in the price. It's not included.
Realising my mistake *minutes* after ordering, I tried to cancel the order in my account: you can't.
I attempted to contact SLRHut by email and by phone.
There is no Customer Service.
No replies to multiple emails.
No-one on the end of the phone despite multiple calls.
The next communication I received was an email informing me that the item had been shipped.
Next, I checked their Terms & Conditions:
6. Cancellation Policy for Unshipped Orders
You can not cancel your order once the order is in the processing stage. We do apologize for any inconvenience they (sic) may has (sic) caused.
7. Shipping Policies
Shipments can not be refused as they will not be returned to sender.
RISK OF LOSS: All items purchased from SLRHut.co.uk are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
A 15% restocking fee and our costs of shipping will be imposed when refunding returned orders. Professional Cameras and Camcorders are subject to a Minimum Mandatory 25% restocking fee.
Wow.
In other words you can't cancel your order and if you want to return it you'll have to pay for their shipping fees, your return shipping fees, PLUS either 15 or 25% of the sale price.
A quick WHOIS lookup of their URL reveals... NOTHING.

Lucky escape
Ordered a lens from this company today. Subsequently became suspicious on receipt of the confirmation email. Whilst this company has a uk domain and telephone number the customer service hours seemed strange. On checking the reviews it became clear this is not a uk company and had I had the sense to look at reviews beforehand this would have become apparent. Whilst reading the reviews I received a telephone call from my bank advising they viewed this payment as a possible fraudulent payment and they had blocked my account. I told the bank I did originate the payment but now wanted to cancel it as some reviews I read stated the buyer’s card numbers had been compromised shortly after ordering goods from this company. Fortunately due to the diligence of my bank I was not put at further risk as a result of my own stupidity in not doing my research beforehand. Lesson learnt.

I bought the P1100 package and the extras weren't great . None of the stands , tripods etc have the strength to hold this camera up . The tallest one broke the first time I used it and I almost dropped the camera .

Would never use again and definitely wouldn't recommend!!!!! I placed an order for a complete camera kit and an additional lens which amounted to £1250.00. It was my first order with SLR. However, I can honestly say I am bitterly disappointed with the customer service I have received. Considering the item was being shipped to the UK I would have thought it would have come with a UK adapter but the camera was received with an American adapter which meant as I am in the UK I could not charge it. I ended up having to charge it using a shaving plug. However it did charge so I then emailed SLR regarding the matter. A brief of the emails and dates are as follows:
I sent an email highlighting the issue with the adapter and asked for a response from yourselves regarding this matter.
Two days later I received an email from SLR requesting that I call them and was given their telephone number
I tried calling daily (for 7 days) only to be met with hold music, answer phone messages and closed information. The final call I made on the 7th day I sat and listened to hold music for just over 1 hour!!!! at which point I gave up (I also add all these calls are at cost to myself after spending £1250 on my order)
I again emailed to highlight the telephone issue and left my contact telephone number for one of SLR's representatives to phone me regarding the matter.
Two days later I received an email from SLR (not a phone call) with an apology and was told a plug would be despatched immediately.
Nearly two weeks later I sent a further email requesting an update as I still had not received the plug.
Two days after this email I finally receive an reply that stated the plug has been despatched via USPS and was issued a tracking number which didn't actually work so I had no tracking system for the item.
4 days after the so-called dispatch date I sent another update request email asking specifically when the item was despatched so I would have a vague idea of when it would arrive.
Two days later I received a new tracking number for the item and an apology for the delays with the despatch. This tracking number did work so I was finally been to track my parcel and it finally arrived weeks after my first contact with the issue.
Having said all that in short, It took a month of emails ad calls to be told that a new plug would be sent out immediately and I was then told that it had been despatched (obviously not), told agin it was dispatched, 7 days after it had supposedly been despatched the first time!!! I really don't like to complain but I feel the customer service I have received over this matter was beyond awful, delayed responses, fobbed off (is how I feel) whereas a little truth and honesty would have gone a long way. It took 6 weeks of emails, calls, hold music and sheer perseverance to finally get this resolved and I feel I had no support from the SLR customer services team whatsoever. This is a high cost item to me and I would have expected a lot more with the service to be honest. To this day I still have not received an apology!!!!!

They sell grey stock without being upfront about it. Refuse reasonable requests for returns/refunds.
They also used pushy sales techniques after your initial order to up sell.
Was up-sold a battery group that was off brand & didn’t work properly. Camera was grey sick so couldn’t register with Canon for warranty.
Just avoid this business, it’s not worth the hassle.
Their customer service team are sarcy & unhelpful.
