Donna provides the best customer service that I have received ever. We had a small problem with one of the toys she took care of it efficiently and immediately and seemed very happy to do it. I would absolutely order from them again just based on her. She is a great asset to Smart Kids planet!

SCAM ALERT——
This company took my money for bongo drums for my toddler grandson. The item was sent from Amazon. Upon checking Amazon, they had the same item for less than third the price. I asked to return the bongos. After emails back and forth with “Donna”, I received a return label. Customer service does not answer the phone. Not only do they have my money, I no longer have the product. SCAM ALERT

I’m an indulgent grandmother to preteen boys and I am so glad I found “Smart Kids Planet”. This company has such unique gift ideas for scientific and artistic activities and games that are unavailable anywhere else. It’s so helpful that the products are categorized by age. I needed customer service to change an address and they were quick to respond and help with my error. The delivery of the toy was within two days. I am thrilled to have found this website.

I’m thankful Donna Wilson received my email when I made an inquiry as to timing of item being received. The gift was for my great nephew’s upcoming 5th bday and I was leaving my house in 5 days after placing order to travel to his house….Donna was kind enough to put a time sensitive note on my order. I received the gift with time to spare. The customer service experience was amazing. I was thankful there was an employee at this company who clearly enjoyed her job and made such an effort to accommodate me. She deserves a raise!!!! Thank you Smart kids planet

Customer service agent Donna Wilson was most pleasant and efficient in addressing my concern about timely arrival of my order. She followed up on my questions promptly and with cordiality. It was apparent to me that she read and understood my inquiries. Thanks to her I will likely order again from Smart Kids Planet!

Our order of the water table was missing the pump. I’ve reached out to the company every way I can and have gotten zero response in a month of trying. This is the worst kind of customer service, order at your own risk.

UPDATE: the pump finally arrived.

When I contacted the company asking to return the item received for a full refund, they supplied the return label right away and have now provided the full refund.

The company is adamant that they use Amazon only as their fulfillment service, and have never sold their items on Amazon.

I ordered an item that I also saw on Amazon, but assumed this what much higher quality as it was three times the price. As it was a gift, I placed the order with Smart Kids Planet. The order came today from Amazon!

I ORDERED AN ITEM THAT WAS LISTED FOR $99. IT ARRIVED IN AN AMAZON PRIME BOX!!! I FOUND THE EXACT SAME ITEM ON AMAZON FOR HALF THE PRICE! I'VE EMAILED AMAZON EXECUTIVE OFFICES AND HOPE THAT THEY DISCONTINUE DOING BUSINESS WITH "SMART KIDS PLANET."

I purchased a gift for my grandson and the gift arrived within two days.
I had never used this company before and the customer service and the quality of the gift is AMAZING!!

I recommend this company highly!! My grandson is so happy with his gift.I will use this company again and again!!

They sent cheaper versions of their listed products directly from Amazon. They do not issue refunds and they asked me to cancel my dispute with my credit card after they refused to issue a refund. They also claimed they did not receive my return package even though I have a tracking number and can see it was delivered. I ordered a National Geographic dig kit for $74.59 and received a $12.99 Amazon toy.

BEWARE! This comes is nothing but a scam! I, unlike some others, received my item but wanted to return it. They said they would be sending me a shipping label within 48 hours. That never happened. They promised to send it again. Nothing! And they do not respond to any of my phone calls.

Just a reminder that this is a scam. I've been waiting since December to hear back from Donna. Items are shipped directly from Amazon at a much higher price plus shipping.

Everything I ordered from Smartkids actually came from Amazon so I looked up each item only to find a much cheaper price. Apparently they just resell Amazon and charge folks a hefty price that's well over 50%.

I am going to give a one star review that I have not had my package shipped. I ordered it Sunday and it is now Tuesday evening and no notice regarding shipping. I will be waiting for Donna to get back to me, but due to the other reviews, I have read, I am super concerned. But I will update as soon as I hear back from Donna. It is now 2-19 and I have not yet received any reply from this company. I called them today, 2-19-25 as well as my message from 2-17. I have asked to cancel my order and I have not heard back

I just want to remind people this is a scam. They pay people to write glowing reviews here or bribe them to keep the product. (I mean look at the positive reviews and compare these to real reviews) All items are bought from Amazon at 2 to 3 times lower than the cost you pay them to ship item through Amazon to you. As parents and grandparents, we trust that we are buying legitimate "stem" toys from the website with a clever deceptive name of, "Smart Kids Planet " that describes- "stem toys". The pictures are deceptive as well for the item you actually receive. I am a victim of this scam. Please beware, parents, grandparents.
I've also dealt with "Donna" who reviews here have glowing references. She tried to tell me they are "a family owned small business still learning" Donna asked me to remove my review and offered discounts if I would. I was able to get a full refund with great effort on my part through PayPal that showed exhibits of what I thought I was getting and what I actually received through Amazon. Take lots of pictures!

BEWARE. I ordered a Scrabble blue hardcover travel case edition, but it must've been out of stock. They sent a completely different, cheaper edition directly from Amazon. NO RETURN POLICY. You must request a return, but they never respond. Save yourself the hassle and SHOP ELSEWHERE.

I have never been the recipient of such excellent customer service like I rceived from Donna at Smart Kids Planet. From a totally unexpected response on Christmas Day to the full refund January 15 I can only say I was thrilled. Donna should be the example for any customer service associate! The company is fortunate to have her.

I had a similar experience to others. I bought a toy from smart kids planet for $52 as a gift. When I contacted them that it wasn’t received, they said it was “wrapped in an Amazon box”. So they order from Amazon, charge triple the price and never respond to requests to return the toy. Yes, it can be returned to Amazon…at 1/3 of what was paid. Beware!!!!

Received a gift from smartkidsplanet.com. They ordered it directly from Amazon and raised the prices more than double. A $45 Amazon order cost $120 on their website. The Amazon gift receipt indicated it was “from” smartkidsplanet. If you return using the included slip from Amazon you will only receive the Amazon price. BUYER BEWARE.

Like others I have seen in reviews, this is not a company I would do business with. I ordered an "Intelligent Programmable RC Robot" on December 18th for my 5 year old grandson. I received an e-mail response that I would receive my order by December 27th. Then, I received an e-mail letting me know the order was delivered on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately, I never received my order. I tried their supposedly tracking system to get more details, but it went to a 3rd party site I never heard of or it went to Fedex/USPS which did not recognize the order number. I tried calling Smart kids Plant (872-267-2105‬) twice over a 2 week period and only received a voice message stating they will get back to me within 24 hrs. Well that never happened. I cannot get a hold of a human which is very concerning. Then I received a Thank you e-mail from the autogenerated person "Donna Wilson" who encouraged me to continue shopping for an additional 10% off. What a joke...So insulting. I finally had enough and will e-mail Smart Kids Planet and let them know I am going to contact the BBB as well as give a negative response, so others do not get robbed. The sad thing is, this is a toy company for kids. What was supposed to be a Happy time for my grandson during the holidays became disappointing one for me. I consider myself to be a pretty savvy consumer and have been in the HighTech industry working for fortune 100 companies for over 30 years. As there are many supposedly happy consumer reviews, I thought this was a legitimate company. Until proven differently, I would stay clear of this business.
