I found the website easy and straight forward.

I have had 4 fixed rate bonds with SmartSave since 2021 and have been 100% satisfied with the experience. Very simple account opening process, straightforward and user-friendly online interface, excellent interest rates, highly efficient end-of-term service, and great feeling of security and trust. Easy transactions, genuine company, never had any problem with them

Easy to bank. Correspondence was good. Everything promised happened.

What made my experience special, was Andy the call handler, I came unstuck financially and due to health issues had to give up, not entitled to benefits until Jan 26, needed funds to pay solicitors for a guardianship case we have coming up.
I did not see a way out apart from closing my savings which I seriously did not want to do as I’d be losing approximately £1400 in interest ( as per anyone, I did not read t’s & c’s )
But nonetheless Andy was very sympathetic and showed a huge amount of support and empathy as it’s been a hard year, he offered me information on how I can apply for benefits and offered names of companies that may be able to help.
My account was a two year saver which your not allowed to close as they tie the money up in investments.
Due to my circumstances I was allowed to close account.
Thanks Andy, top bloke, was calm, empathetic and kept me informed at all times.
These are the people Smart Money should pay them a great deal of money or a yearly retainer.

Went onto the LiveChat facility. After verifying that I wasn’t talking to a bot, I had great service - twice - from an adviser named Andy. Was great getting through to the same person in quick succession so no need to repeat everything. Superb.

It was a simple process to invest savings with them online and it is easy to check the account on the app very good company I have used for the past two years.

Appreciated the very quick replies to the on line chat service.

Couldn't change my decision about what to do at the end of a 1 year bond in the online banking website. Got a phone call from the bank but couldn't trust that at the present time with all the scams about.
Online messaging didn't seem to work. There needs to be a secure messaging facility online.

All went to plan. Paid out at the end of the contract. Good rate of interest

I have invested in the companys 1 year bond for 3 years now. Each year I was pleased with the interest rate I recieved.
Never had a problem so never had to contact them.

Easily understood terms and conditions, easy access to account

Been with SmartSave for 3 years now (3 separate full investment cycles) each for a full term non ISA investment (had maxed out ISA Allowance) which has generated a good % interest return. The application process was seamless and the web interface very easy to use. Speedy and secure transactions and payout was very quick. Only topped up elsewhere due to FSA protection but now that has increased to £120,000 will be investing more. Highly recommended

Had a maturing savings account on Saturday 6 December 2025. Thought that I would not get paid out until Monday but delighted that SmartSave sent me the money today .A lot of other savings institutions would not have paid out on a weekend .

I found Smartsave very easy to contact when I had any questions, the app was very easy to use , also show what your end balance would be with a bonus if included. I may use them again in the future.
