As someone who is autistic, dental appointments can be incredibly overwhelming for me. Uncertainty, long waits and sensory overload can make situations like this very difficult to manage. From the very beginning, the team at Smilewell treated me with kindness, patience and understanding. They listened when I explained my needs and made real efforts to accommodate me and make the process as calm and predictable as possible.

A special thank you to Adhnan and Adeel. Their professionalism, skill and attention to detail are exceptional, but just as importantly they treated me with compassion and respect throughout the whole journey. They always took the time to explain things clearly and reassure me when I was feeling overwhelmed.

The whole process has been a journey, but the final result has given me my confidence back. I can smile comfortably again and, for the first time in a long time, I can eat properly on both sides of my mouth.

The clinic itself is welcoming and professional, and it’s clear the whole team works hard to support their patients. Even when things were challenging during treatment, they handled everything with care and made sure I felt supported.

I’m truly grateful to Smilewell for not only transforming my smile, but for treating me with such understanding and respect as an autistic patient.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering dental implants or complex dental treatment.

Absolutely fantastic! I had all remaining teeth extracted, 6 implants on top and 4 on bottom. This was in October 2025.
I got my final teeth this week and couldn't be happier.
Despite managing to break 2 temporary sets and a failed implant which needed replacing (no fault of Smilewell - I was grinding my teeth!) the service has been fantastic (and patient!).
The surgery itself was absolutely fine. I had conscious sedation and don't really remember a thing. I was swollen for a few days afterwards but no pain.

I can't recommend Dr Adeel, Adhnan (very patient with all my questions!) and the whole team enough.

So I am in the process of searching out a clinic to have significant dental surgery to improve my oral health and functionality.
Being in possession of a current dental X-ray, I forwarded this to Smilewell hoping to get a brief insight into how they might help me.
I indicated at this stage I did not want to take up their offer to have an in person free assessment at the surgery, so expected a brief email with very basic possibilities for my potential treatment.
I was therefore so surprised and amazed to receive an in depth personalised video from Doctor Adeel walking me through a comprehensive treatment plan. Doctor Adeel also took the time to advise me to see my doctor on an unrelated possible issue he had noticed on examining my X-ray.
This level of great communication and patient care needs to be acknowledged whether I proceed or not.

I’m so happy with my implants they look so natural and have transformed my face and smile the team are brilliant and couldn’t recommend enough!

Terrible customer service, they cannot clearly answer simple questions, Riyan the appointments cordinatior is very keen to take you deposit to book your appointment, BUT TERRIBLE AT RESPONDING TO EMAILS AND PHONE CALLS but it took me days and 12 phone calls to get my deposit back, No follow through, just false promises, Glad I not going to use this practice. BE AWARE

After several years of pain and bad dentists I came across smilewell so traveled to London for the weekend from sunny sheffield.after having full top and bottom done I am more than happy with the results though still swollen as was only four days ago.the surgery was a nice environment and all the staff were amazing and genuinely cared I was at ease if um honest I don't remember a thing due to the sedation and slept through the whole procedure.Dr Ali was amazing and would recommend

I had a very unexpected cancer diagnosis in the middle of my treatment (which we worked around) but I received a THINKING OF YOU card from the team which really touched me. So after a lot of research many consultations with other surgeries I chose smilewell which was an hour away from home, I cannot fault the service I got from no smile to having perfection which I cannot be happier about, the way the staff were so attentive knowing my name as I walked in the door explaining every step of the way and appointments that suited me. My recent dental experience (dental implant), has been disastrous. The lack of professionalism, unacceptable actions, misleading information and breach of contract have left me deeply frustrated and dissatisfied. There was a clear avoidance of responsibility, with critical issues being ignored or dismissed. I totally lost trust in the practice. Now, I am left dealing with unnecessary stress, anxiety and uncertainty due to their negligence. The lack of resolution, prolonged timelines, and absence of clear accountability have left me deeply frustrated and concerned about the standard of care I’ve received.Despite repeated attempts to seek clarity and resolution, I continue to face delays, dismissive explanations, and a lack of urgency in addressing my ongoing pain and treatment. I have to escalate my issues by seeking legal advice and filing complaints with the appropriate regulatory bodies. I do not recommend this place and strongly advise everyone to reconsider before choosing this provider for any dental procedures.

Good staff. Magdalena went above and beyond, filing teeth that she could have left as they were. Clean and groovy surroundings (with a good cuppa on offer!). Highly recommended!

I lost a healthy tooth after having the worst deep clean at this practice. The experience put me off for two years but I eventually returned. Unfortunately when I did I was met with no understanding of the situation whatever and was spoken to in a very condescending manner by two dentist. A referral was recommended, I never did receive that referral. Luckily I’ve now found another, more professional and empathetic practice.

Surgery Day: September 27, 2024

At 8 AM, I arrived at Smilewell, ready for transformation. IV sedation ensured I felt nothing—25 teeth out, six upper implants, two sinus lifts, four lower implants, and a temporary set—all in five hours. One blink, and it was done. No pain, no memory. Pro tip: arrange a ride home—you’re legally required, plus you’ll be too out of it to argue.

Recovery: Surprisingly Smooth

I braced for pain and swelling but had only mild tenderness and light bruising. Following post-op instructions religiously, I healed like a champ. The 410-mile round trip meant I only visited for essential appointments—great for both my sanity and fuel costs.

January 9, 2025 – The Next Step

Three months post-surgery, I returned for implant checks and new moulds. Painless and quick. Now, a three-week wait for my wax test set.

January 30, 2025 – Wax Teeth Try-In

Seeing my almost-final smile was exciting! Cosimo, ever the perfectionist, made small tweaks. I chose A1 for my final shade—classy, not over-the-top. Now, the countdown began for my custom-milled titanium bar.

February 19, 2025 – The Titanium Bar Try-In

A packed waiting room had me considering a support group for fellow dental warriors. Once inside, my temporary teeth were out, and the titanium bar test was on. The bite checks and scans ensured perfection—before my warm mouth melted the wax set!

The Grand Finale:

Finally, the big day arrived. I even booked a nearby hotel to avoid a painfully early start. By 8:30 AM, I was back at Smilewell. Temporary teeth out—goodbye, lisp—and in went my final, custom-crafted, red-carpet-ready smile.

The process? Flawless. From my first call with Sophie to Hayley’s warm welcomes at reception, everything was seamless. And Cosimo? Part dentist, part artist, part wizard. The clinic itself felt more like a luxury spa than a dentist’s office.

I found smilewell after half a decade of being miserable with my teeth and giving up on the idea out of embarrassment multiple times after having a fear of the dentist, I booked a consultation and felt so at ease straight away, no judgement and Dr. Magda was able to give me a treatment plan straight away answering any and all of my questions, The follow up for Lindsay was great, she speaks to you as if she’s known you personally for years which as a nervous patient is so relieving. I’ve just had my composite fillings and visit with the hygienist, I didn’t catch her name but she was also so lovely and as gentle as she could be also giving me step by step help on aftercare. Dr Magna carried out my fillings and my teeth look so shiny and brand new again, she took such care that I was comfortable and provided a comfortable environment which eased my nerves a lot, she then explained what she had done and gave me a plan for further treatment and aftercare, I’ll never be going anywhere else🙂

I had a full mouth implant and can say its been the best decision to have all the work carried out by Smilewell Dentistry. A big shout out to Dr Adel and Dr Cosimo and especially Lyndsey for all the coordination and walking me through each stage of the treatment. Today my treatment was completed at Smilewell after getting full mouth implants back in July 24, something that I had been considering to get done for nearly 15 years. Whether it was the high prices or me just not feeling comfortable to trust anyone, I suddenly came across an ad for Smilewell.
I can honestly say hand on heart that coming to Smilewell was the best decision I could have made.
The before, during and aftercare have been of the highest level. Everyone from Hayley, Lindsay and the rest of the girls to Cosimo who did my surgery have been amazing!!
