I had not realised that Sykes had subcontracted their bookings to Snaptrip. However the booking process with them was straightforward and it was completed easily.

The property at netley marsh needs sorting, the front door has to slammed shut. It’s so loud it wakes the entire neighbourhood (8 properties) and it’s unacceptable. There is no outdoor lighting at all… pitch black. So if visiting with a dog, it’s not suitable. There is rubbish on the grounds and fly tipping. Didn’t get the key code and was left waiting outside for over an hour. Couldn’t get in contact with anyone to help me.

Looks neglected and unsafe. Would not recommend

We were looking for a nice quiet relaxing weekend away where we could take our dog and thats exactly what we got in a nice area minutes from the beach with some very nice local places to eat highly recommend the Thatch pub in Croyde for dining out friendly and great service. The Lodge we stayed in was exceptional and all needed was provided even some nice little unexpected extras like dog treats left for the dog, we can not fault the trip at all and the coms were great all the way through the booking process. Highly recommend this venue and booking provider.

Last minute booking, easy site to use

I would like to say how easy the site was to navigate , with plenty of options and places to choose from. The prices are very reasonable too! If you had any queries their customer support team were very helpful. Thankyou

We were really looking forward to a kid-free weekend away, but sadly this place was a huge letdown. The accommodation is tiny and honestly not worth the drive. The bed had bits in it — crumbs or dust of some sort — and the whole room felt damp, which made it uncomfortable and unpleasant.

When I raised this with the owner, they seemed dismissive and uninterested in resolving the issue. Because of this, we decided to cut our stay short and found somewhere else much more suitable, where we could actually relax without worrying about cleanliness or damp.

The Lapwing Lodge was beautiful. Just what I needed so tranquil & relaxing! The lodge was well equipped with everything I needed, I took cleaning equipment but no need as it was all there including washing up liquid, cleaning pods for the dishwasher, hand wash etc
The hot tub was delightful & so clean.
Diane was very helpful giving me good ideas of where to visit, I didn’t manage to visit everything so I will be going back to visit the places I missed.
The only criticism I have is that there wasn’t the facilities to recycle plastics, tins or glass!
