Sobeys compliments breaded mild wings went from being the best to the worst. Had a beautiful dark coating. Now are pale white and very doughy . I really can not take them any more. Maybe some time you feel fit to return to the better finished product.

I went to Sobeys today for leeks that I needed for a recipe. When I got home and looked at them, the ends were brown and slimy and they were way past their prime. My local Sobeys in Waterloo has gone steadily downhill for the past couple of years. Very disappointed😕

I will not be ever going back to Sobeys Adelaide Street London. Everything keeps moving around. Many product names have changed including different sizes? You have no signage when you change. I don’t appreciate your security following me all over. Is it because they don’t trust an old lady who has been shopping since they opened. Felt I was being sexed after my old body ! Your prices have gone high and the SCENE doesn’t help out those who need it.. Very hard to donate my points!

I found the Sobey's in Parry Sound was not a good experience. Hard to get around with everyone restocking and not helping you by moving over. No one to help, except the nice man in dairy. The cashier was helpless. I am a senior on oxygen. I carry a portable, so very obvious. I put my bags up first because every single cashier I have been through, help me with the packing of groceries. This on did nothing to help. She had to get a price check and the person had no idea where to get a price. It was very visible. While he was looking, the cashier folded her arms and chatted with another lady, all while I was obviously having trouble breathing trying to pack my groceries. Then she guessed at the price of my item. It took me longer to finish packing as I was gasping for air at this point. This is not an exaggeration. She then stood there and waited until I finished before she could go on with the next customer. Not once trying to help. I have never run into this before, and I do all the shopping for my household and have for 53 years. The prices were much more than other stores also. When I got to my car, an employee was looking for carts, talking to another employee. They walked right by me, watching me struggle and never offered any help. I will never shop at a Sobey's again.

At the checkout I wasn’t greeted by Ashley. There was nothing friendly or unfriendly about the situation. She didn’t offer to bag or even help bag my groceries. I’ll look for a different cashier if I go back.

Apparently they don't staff cashiers after 9pm, so even if you have a full cart, prepare to ring that through yourself at self-checkout. Seriously, robots don't solve everything. Surely the $15 you save by not having someone work an extra hour isn't worth the full cart of groceries that I know I'll be thinking twice about getting here again.

I don't usually do reviews, and I often come to this store instead of the closer save-on because I used to like it better, but this is the icing on the cake of small annoyances that are adding up. I think I need to find somewhere else..

Tried to open my Sobeys shopping list today but it is gone. Now I have to subscribe to the flyer. The new layout is horrible. I like to shop without restrictions and rules and I like to select my groceries without having to file through all of the bakery that you present
I will now write my list and further limit my Sobeys shopping

I had ordered a 1/4 slap cake for Father's Day. Picked it up father's day morning June 15/25. Cake was beautifully decorated. Icing was good. Cake itself was absolutely horrible. It was so dry people wouldn't eat it. Found this very shocking as most cakes from sobeys are very moist. Very disappointed for what l paid for. 28 dollars.

What a disaster, we was trying to order a cake from Sobeys in High River Alberta, we were on the phone for over a half an hour, trying to order a Strawberry Shortcake for my daughter’s birthday, the staff in the bakery were incompetent they didn’t seem to know what they were doing. We finally gave up and called the Bridlewood Sobeys bakery the women we talked to was excellent, she knew her product, and the sizes of cakes, and easy to communicate with. I would give Bridlewood Sobey’s bakery 5 stars.

Never buy the chicken that is already made. It is so bad. I have a lot of complaints. The first one is that it is not actual chicken; it tastes like plastic inside. I got sick just because of this. The second thing is that it was fully cold and not even a little bit warm!

Sobeys Riverbend SE was shopping for lunches for us Sandwiches and cold foods like potato salad and chicken all near date end or 3 to 5 days old girls there would not make fresh ones even got huffy about it .Left went to COOP all fresh made today. My Colleague at work was telling me he never goes there no more the deli Phillapia woman are arrogant and unhelpful. I won't go there no more I guess a wake up call will come when a customer gets poisoned. Have a nice day 5 Less customers.

How do they even have a site that you can search for products yet show no products, who ever the Conservative is in charge of this needs to be let go and just like Loblaws has done they've raised prices instead of lowering them and keep push this inflation lie and now it'll be about tariffs when things are made in CANADA there should be no issues and yet this keeps getting lied about as Corpo greed is the issue

Don’t be sucked in by Sobeys BS shelf labeling on “Compliments” brand products. They shamelessly put a Canadian flag on the shelf to create the illusion you are looking at a Canadian product when in reality, that package was only created in Canada, the contents will have come from other countries INCLUDING the United States. They import in bulk and then package the goods in Canada and do not show the country of origin of the contents of the package. Sleazy as it gets. Don’t get fooled by these greedy corporate sleaze bags who seek to profit from your desire to be a loyal Canadian.

I keep forgetting how bad their food is and go pick groceries to come home and find mold, expired, or rancid food. Unless you want food poisoning, avoid their meat, dairy, deli, and produce. You're taking a risk with these guys. Regina, SK, Quance st. location.

Sobeys at main and Danforth. Was 7am door was opened I was shopping and rude cashier said who the hell opened the door. Like she didn't know they open at 7. Today I bought ground meat and it was grey inside with a funky smell. Totally disgusting.
