DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS AND…

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS AND ABUSERS- they send me the wrong sofa and said they would come on Sunday to change it then they started to ignore me they blocked me and I called on a random number and they started swearing and shouting at me and that I will never get the right sofa and I should have not paid in cash next time. They are only accepting cash to evade tax the sofa also stunk really bad of cigarettes. I will be reporting them and HMRC need to look into their business. Please report to HMCR if you have had a similar experience. As they has laundering money. I have the warehouse address also. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They have also changed their business name 9 times since 2019.

Brought so far it come it was broken

Brought so far it come it was broken. I messaged they said they was going to replace it two weeks prior with them ignoring me. They didn’t turn up with a complete different sofa took the broken one away. Left it in my front garden when I told them that they’ve bought me the wrong sofa they said they was gonna come on the Thursday. They then proceeded to block my number and her abuse stay away from this company. Their tax are avoiding and terrible quality

Do not order from this company! They sent me a broken sofa. Generated a photo on AI to make it look better! The delivery people was demanding me to transfer money before I even seen the sofa was really intimidating. When opened the sofa I rang my bank straight away it was broken, not fit for purpose screws popping out! They blocked all contact with me and now opened a dispute with my bank. Which I am hopeful their business bank check all these reviews and agrees for my money back. Absolutely disgusting company please do not order from here. I was ripped off before Christmas. They have no hearts atall.

I would give this company-100000000 stars if i have to. They sent me wrong sofa when i said to them the color is wrong he started abusing me on the phone. Very bad service and he abused already reported to rhe polixe

The delivery was so quick from ordering. Sofa exactly what shown in pictures. It very comfortable so much better than I thought. Communication was great from ordering. I was worried looking at the reviews on here but had nothing to worry about .

Wanted a new sofa and couldn't find any…

Wanted a new sofa and couldn't find any where as limited on money. I found UK sofa hub in Barnsley. I contacted them via Facebook and saw the sofa I wanted. I messaged them and straight away someone messaged me back, gave all the information I needed. I arranged for me to have 3+2 sofa and told 2 days. The next morning I recieved a message and I was having my sofas delivered that afternoon. I then received another call later that day from a gentleman saying he would deliver my goods by half past 4that afternoon. It arrived bang on half past 4 and the gentleman installed my sofa for a small fee and took my old sofa. My new sofas are absolutely fab and quality is brilliant. I would deffo use the company again. Thank u sofa hub barnsley

Disgusting do not buy

Ordered sofa from here just before Christmas which was meant to be delivered in a week after order. Within hours of placing order I had a delivery driver saying he was outside. I was in the middle of redecorating so wasnt prepared. Anyway I decided to accept delivery. The driver wanted cash on delivery before he delivered inside the house which I refused given the no notice delivery.
They came with a different colour from what I ordered but I accepted as the colour matched. One of the sofas the base is poor manufacture as seat dips when sit.
Although I have reported this they have ignored.
Fortunate I paid by bank transfer, paid them £300 less due to wrong colour and wrong delivery day. So little justification my end.
I got them to write receipt If I need to report them to consumer rights and the local authorities I will.
The delivery driver took the rubbish away and dumped it outside front. Disgusting business.

Horrendous Experience! AVOID! AVOID!

I bought a cinema sofa from Sofas24 (same people as SofaHub) in November 2025. Initially everything seemed promising — quick delivery, decent communication, and they even allowed me to change the fabric I’d originally ordered to “cream teddy bouclé”.

Unfortunately, that’s where things went downhill.

What arrived was not cream teddy bouclé. The sofa was a canary-yellow colour, nothing like the soft, milky cream shown in their photos. The fabric also wasn’t teddy bouclé at all — it was a low-pile, towel-like material more akin to cheap chenille. I was left with what honestly looked like a yellow towel sofa sitting in an otherwise soft cream and stone-coloured living room.

On delivery, one of the feet was broken (they did later send a replacement), but the three cushions shown in the product images were also missing.

I contacted the company and was told a manager would be in touch. I waited three days and heard nothing, so I opened a dispute with my bank. While gathering evidence that the sofa was not as described, I found the exact same sofa being sold on another website, which raised concerns about the claim that it was “handmade in Yorkshire”. A Companies House search showed Sofas24 to be registered as a wholesale furniture company in Derby, not a Yorkshire manufacturer, which felt very misleading.

I then began receiving emails from the manager, Israr Khan. The responses were oddly generic and templated in tone, reading very much like AI-generated correspondence rather than genuine customer service, which only added to the frustration.

He insisted the sofa could only be collected on a weekend, purely because it had been delivered on a weekend. I explained I wouldn’t be available and that, since a bank dispute was now open, I’d been advised to retain the sofa until the outcome — which I did.

At the end of January 2026, I received a formal “Letter Before Action” by email and recorded post, stating I was in possession of a “bespoke sofa” that had not been paid for and demanding immediate payment or weekend-only collection. This was extremely confusing, so I contacted my bank, who confirmed the dispute had already been decided in my favour, although the refund had not yet appeared in my account.

I explained this and said I would make the sofa available once the refund was received, during normal working hours. I then received further messages — again written in the same generic, AI-style language — threatening small claims court and a CCJ on my credit file, containing multiple incorrect statements of law. The tone became increasingly aggressive, to the point I had to warn him about harassment. He continued to email regardless stating he did not agree he was harassing me and imposed weekend dates on me stating he will give me an exact time beforehand, even though I have continuously stated that I am not available on weekends.

To top it off, less than two months in, the sofa has started creaking and the cushions are already losing their shape.

Overall, this has been an incredibly stressful experience. The product quality does not match the advertising, and the handling of the dispute was deeply unprofessional. I would strongly advise others to think very carefully before ordering.

If I could give them 0 I would. Absolutely scammed me. Sent me a picture of a sofa. Tried to copy it. Send some very cheap crap. When o tried to even with them they stopped answering and blocked me. £800 gone!

Scammers

Ordered a sofa,absolutely loved it to start but 2 holes appeared after a few months of owning it, when asking for replacement covers i got blocked. Absolute waste of money !

Absolutely scammers.
Bought a sofa, was shocking, and got blocked off all socials and wouldn’t reply. Refused to give me a refund and give me my money back.

Do not, i repeat do not buy from these. The quality is bad. Very bad. SCAMMERS. they message you via whatsapp. Then when you pay because its cash in hand. They ring you saying why did you only pay half. Then you get calls after calls via WhatsApp. Loads of diffrent numbers. The quality of my pillows are bad. Very bad. 480 i paid and the driver told them i only paid 430. Quite bad really 😕 very bad place. People have been warned. No fire proof stickers on any of the brands. TRADING STANDARDS AND THE POLICE NEED TO GO SEE THESE SCAMMERS.

Update on my previous review

Update on my previous review. After numerous times of trying to contact the supplier they eventually got in touch after I left my first review. I also left some reviews on Facebook and then they blocked me on social media. After finally getting in touch the supplier confirmed the delivery men picked up the wrong sofa. He said he will be in touch to swap it. Again I had to reach out numerous times to get an update. He then said he will deliver the correct sofa on Sunday 17th August 2025 and collect the wrong one. The day before I reached out to confirm everything was still going to plan. He said it is currently being manufactured and will be delivered on the Sunday as stated above. Heard nothing Sunday morning so again I had to contact them numerous times. They eventually got back to me and said the manufacturer of the sofa has ran out of the material I requested.. but the day before i was told me it was made so how did they not know they didn’t have the material? He then said I was on priority and will get it sorted soon and not to reach out to them again as they will reach out to me. They never reached out. Be very wary of this company. As soon as they have your money they don’t care. Very interesting that when I first contacted them enquiring about a sofa they was offering me next day delivery times but once they had my money and delivered the wrong sofa they was very coy about providing a new delivery times. Be warned buy from this company at your own risk.
