Absolute fraud. No contact from them, constant gaslighters and liars.

They have changed our delivery date for our sofa 3 times - it was meant to be delivered on the 12th of Feb, didn’t arrive, then they said 18th of Feb, didn’t arrive and then they said “we promise 21st of Feb before 8pm”, never arrived.

Absolutely pathetic! Very poor from B&Q to be using these as “verified sellers” they are probably better being “verified scammers”.

Sofa point sofapoint Waddinxveen Praatjes vullen geen doorgezakte bank.

Maandag kwam er niemand, ondanks de afspraak om 11 uur. Wel gebeld dat het in de middag kon. Ik niet. Volgende dag ook niet om 11 uur. Meneer was aangehouden vanwege een ondeugelijke kar. Dit moest eerst verholpen worden. Daarna is de Bank is netjes geleverd. Helemaal naar het hoge noorden. Tegen betaling.
Oude bank en hocker ingeleverd, wat volgens verkoper niks meer was. De bank was nog prachtig.
Nu te koop voor 395,..op mp. Drie dagen later .
Geleverde bank is een zitgedeelte ingezakt. Dit is niet vermeld.
Er is geen contact of reactie meer te krijgen. toch nog 590 euro voor vragen voor zo'n bank.
Zo kun je ook snel geld verdienen.

Dikke vette "geen ster" .

Stay clear

Orderd via b&q over xmas period was told mid February for delivery. Recieved a text message Sunday 18th January 'I deliver sofa tomorrow 1 till 3" that's it, no email from company to state delivery, nothing. I then had to sort my old sofas out which were collected at 12 the Monday. 1-3 came and went, 545. No where to sit, 2 men came, couldn't speak English and dragged the sofa on a small trolley to the house. Very unprofessional, I had to phone family to be available as im recovering from knee surgery and couldn't take delivery myself. A month early, no emails, no calls from the company just a random text. And didnt even deliver on time

I bought a corner sofa last July it’s not even 12 months old and it’s broken I live on my own a disabled person and I got in touch with them and basically ignored me and said if I want it repaired I have to pay I want a refund and I am now going further with this reporting you as a company about this so I will not let this go absolutely disgraceful as a company don’t ever buy of them

Avoid!!

Very poor quality. Never dealt with such a difficult company. Customer services is abismal, tries to twist words you have in black & white in emails. Why B&Q have them as a verified seller is beyond me. Avoid this company to save your sanity!!

Numerous false allegations made about myself and slanderous comments .
Told me to arrange own collection as I only paid £549 for sofa.
The quailty was awful!
This company is run by amatuers, clear to see from the way they conduct themselves in emails. This delightful company also told me that i don't tell them when they will collect.... shows their level of intelligence as they needed me home to allow them into my property!
Trading standards now involved.

Not as pictured & poor quality

Update. They have now messaged me saying I only wanted money off, they can tell the class of person I am, and said that I’m a cheapskate. I am shocked and upset.
Bought from Sofapoint, through B&Q marketplace. Was so excited to spend inheritance money from my late father on something I’d needed for so long.
The sofa I received was not the sofa advertised, it was a different colour and poorer quality.
I was told I could return the sofa if it was still in the packaging and at a cost of £50. Obviously it wasn’t still in the packaging as I had opened upon receiving it.

Buyer Beware: A Horrendous Experience with Sofa Point UK
It’s along one but if you want an honest review then please read til the end

I bought sofas from B&Q market place from a company called Sofa Point Uk.
My experience with Sofa Point UK has been nothing short of a complete disaster, leaving me with damaged property, and a profound sense of frustration due to their appalling customer service. I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing furniture from this company to look elsewhere.

From the outset, things went wrong. I ordered a three-seater and a two-seater sofa, anticipating a comfortable addition to my home. However, upon delivery, the two-seater sofa was visibly damaged. The delivery driver called Shaz acknowledged the damage and the poor quality and, after contacting Sofa Point UK, was instructed to take the damaged two-seater back.

This is where the problems truly escalated. After the driver received confirmation to return the faulty sofa, he presented his device for me to sign for the receipt of the three-seater sofa. Moments after I signed, as he was maneuvering the two-seater out of my property, the metal sofa feet scraped across my brand new flooring, causing noticeable scratches. The driver admitted fault immediately and apologised, stating he would take pictures and report the damage to Sofa Point UK, assuring me someone would be in touch. Nevertheless I contacted B&Q myself straight away to inform them as there was no direct number for Sofa Point and was told I should contact Sofa Point through the marketplace email, I was responded too very abruptly by Sofa Point saying it’s not their problem and I should take it up with the delivery company. Bare in mind I did not hire the delivery company, they did!
I contacted the delivery company and was told by their manager Anna that because I am Sofa Points customer that they need to deal with the complaint and to instruct the delivery company Furniture Logistics on what to do next.

I then took the initiative to contact Sofa Point UK again to inquire about their procedures for handling such damages and to request they cover the cost of repairing my flooring. What followed was an exercise in futility and infuriatingly bad customer service. I was met with rude and unhelpful staff who were dismissive of my concerns. Their response was essentially that because I had signed for receiving the three-seater sofa (before the damage occurred), they would not be held liable for the damage caused after the signature and in their words ‘ it’s not our problem so we will not be compensating you, not even a penny!’

Despite my attempts to explain the timeline of events and even mentioning that I had a voice recording of the delivery driver admitting fault, they refused to listen or even offer to investigate. Their complete lack of empathy and unwillingness to take responsibility for the damage caused by their delivery process is frankly unacceptable.

The entire experience with Sofa Point UK has been a nightmare. From the damaged two seater then having to return the three seater a few days later aswell because of the low-quality as it was advertised as foam seats but it felt like sitting on a park bench it was so hard, to the careless delivery and, most egregiously, the dismissive and rude customer service, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. Save yourself the headache, the financial loss, and the frustration, and choose a more reputable and customer-focused furniture retailer. My advice: steer clear of Sofa Point UK
B&Q was unhelpful aswell because every time I called them for an update I kept getting told they were escalating it to the relevant department but each time was not given an update. It has now been 3 mths with no resolution and no response at all.

Love love my new sofa

Love love my new sofa! Very happy with the service. They attentively listen to your concerns the turn around time to correct a problem is dealt with immediately. Will buy from them again. Delivery guys were very friendly.
