Tom at SO Legal handled our commercial lease renewal and made the whole process incredibly smooth. He was consistently responsive, friendly, and clearly very knowledgeable - questions were answered quickly and he explained the legal detail in a way that was easy to follow. The renewal itself moved quickly; any delays along the way came from my side or the landlord's, never from Tom or his team. Everything felt professional and well organised, with nothing missed and no unnecessary back-and-forth, which also meant it was efficient and good value.

Didn't speak with or have direct contact at any point with my solicitor, Dominic Mercer. Not confident he ever even looked at my file as it was a simple freehold sale which meant I was supplying all the information which was just sent on to the buyers solicitors.
The matter was dealt with by paralegals within the firm which is fine as they were pretty efficient.
Sadly I did not receive a call on completion day to confirm that the keys had been released which made things quite stressful. VM left for call back at 4pm which was never replied to ask where my funds were. I had to call the estate agent who confirmed that the keys had been released at 2pm.
Accounts departments called from a anonymous number after 4pm and doesn't leave a VM to ask you to call back to confirm bank details so that funds can be sent.
Not to call a client to confirm completion is very unprofessional.
