SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! This is a fraudulent website pretending to be a boutique in the Hamptons. I placed an order after seeing their ads on Facebook, but what I got were low-quality, mis-sized items shipped from China. No return label, no phone number, and deceptive refund policies. Their photos are AI-generated, even their founder photo is fake, and even the product images are stolen. I paid over $200 and received junk. There are YouTube video revealing why they are SCAM.
They offer a fake "30-day return policy" but make returns almost impossible with international fees. DO NOT BUY. Avoid Sophiesboutique-hamptons.com at all costs!

Disappointed follow up
Disappointed follow up. Do not purchase! I originally commented on my experience with Sophie Boutique. I spent over $1000 dollars with the company and received very low quality products. They responded with they care but only offered a 50% credit, but for the cost i paid is almost more beneficial for me to return the product. I would like a full refund.

Also agree with the other review. Cheap fabric, Not worth a penny. Advertisement said going out of business and offered deals. They are not going out of business!! Fraud!

Do not purchase from them!
This is a scam. They said they were a Hamptons Boutique going out of business. I found out when I saw being shipped from China on the tracking they were not. They assured me it was not a scam but they said they were not closing it was a sale. I received my product and it was junk. They are haggling me for a store credit or 15% refund to keep since they were are an international company. I was told they were not. I don't want the product, free shipping but $40-$50 to return. Do not buy from them!!!

If I could give -1 I would. Horrible dress. Made in China no way is this a large. Wanted to return, but it will cost me $20 - 40.00. DO NOT BUY! What you see is not the quality you get. It’s a scam there in no store in the Hamptons. Warehouse is in China!

This company is a scam. Sent the wrong products and the 2 dresses that were correct could not even get them on because the way they were made. Cheap fabric. Not true to size at all and will not refund me the money. They refuse to refund money and/or send a return shipping label. Scam.

My experience with Sophies Botique is they said they were out of the Hamptons…
They said they were out of the Hamptons but research showed an address in Holland. The return address on the package was 5215 Bayle Ave. Verson, CA 90058. The add did not tell the fabric and when I got it, there was no label on it of where it was made or the fabric content and the fabric was a slick fabric that seemed very cheap. They said they were closing down and it was $179 on sale for $28. It sort of looked like the picture but it was anything I wanted. Think they are just saying they are in the Hamptons and saying they are closing and having a sale to get people to buy. Did not like the dress material and would not have bought it if they had told the fabric and it definitely was not a $170 dress. C. J. San Diego

Don’t waste your money
This is the first time I’ve ordered from Sophie’s boutique. I thought I was getting a deal as it was 80% off their closing down sale. However, the goods came from China instead of the store in the US. Although everything fit, the quality is terrible. The material is 95% polyester, something your grandma used to wear back in the 60s. Also. I discovered the same goods on shein.com for much cheaper. Don’t be fooled. It’s better that you buy on Sheen or Timu. You get more or less the same product for cheaper.

I truly thought this was a legit boutique.
All items shipped from China and sizes were OFF! I could kick myself.
First time and LAST time I would order from "Sophie's Boutique".
Quality of the items were less desirable. The photos and actual items...NOT the same.
Return shipping NOT worth the cost. Will end up sending it to my sister who is about 2 sizes smaller than me! SHEEESH!

This should be no stars! This is a SCAM!!!! I have never wrote a negative review but this is false advertisement. I saw it on FB and ordered but after looking on shipping tracking it's coming from CHINA!! NOT THE HAMPTONS as advertised. It hasn't left China yet and they told me to wait until i receive my shipment then return it. RIDICULOUS! I have disputed with my credit card as well. DO NOT BUY!!!

My card has been refunded as their 10 minute investigation found this to be fraud. Thanks to American Express....

Total horseshit
Total horseshit! My amazing bf thought he'd make me happy by purchasing the painted on pants. I knew they were not denim, but didn't realize they were 90% polyester! Fit is horrible. Order was completely wrong with 2 pairs of the same pants and another pair looking stained in the pubic area and rear-end to the point that someone might think I'd had my period and didn't get the stain out.
Horrible customer service, he ordered 4/11 and could not get a tracking number from anyone, they arrived 5/1. He can't seem to find his original order after logging into site, but I know he didn't order 2 of the same pair of such poorly made, I'll fitting pants.
Watch your purchases. This should be illegal and is beyond disappointing. Not to mention disgusting behavior from a seller.

Totally fell for the SCAM
Totally fell for the SCAM! Got targeted on Facebook and ordered from this “sweet boutique owner closing her store to spend time with family”. I wanted to support her and bought almost $200 worth of clothes. I knew something was immediately wrong when I got a notification for shipping from China!! I should have cancelled right then. I just received my order today after waiting weeks and the clothes smell really weird. The jacket I ordered in a women’s medium looks like a jacket for a toddler and an “elegant dress” is completely see through.

It doesn’t eve deserve 1 star. The advertising said jeans, and I got a pair of pants and do not look like the pictat all. And I asked to be returned and guess what? They are NOT RESPONDING ANYMORE!!! I'm absolutely disappointed in this…
I'm absolutely disappointed in this purchase. The dress looked beautiful and expensive in the advertisement and it's the complete opposite in person. Made from cheap polyester, the "dress" is actually just lining. I can't believe I fell for this....and wish I had looked at the reviews prior to purchasing. Because the return shipping will be almost the cost of the dress, it's not worth it. They got me... and they got my money. Don't be fooled!
