I have had the plans drawn up for a new kitchen since 21/3/22, as my I am in dire need for a new one with several things wrong. I phone at least once a month to check on the progress. I have a cooker that is slowly breaking that is only a size 50 and don’t want to buy another one as normal sizes of cookers are size 60, but I only have room for a 50. In March 2024 I was told they were ordering the kitchen. Still nothing and no replies from anyone. This is all so depressing.The counter sides are all caving in where water has made them soft etc etc, other things wrong. I would have saved up by now to have things repaired myself, but they said I was having a new one.Every month I phone, a different person answers and says they will try to find out what’s happening, but I never get a reply. My husband is now going to get in touch with our local MP to try to get an answer. 😢😢😢

Terrible

Electricity fuse board stopped working. Booked in as so called emergency 24 appt....can't use anything, can't cook, can't heat house, told sit in car as long as possible to charge phone, lucky I have a car then. Need to go to work..they don't seem to care about long term residents only about getting new houses built and money. Let people live in damp and don't worry about improving old homes for people. Increase rent on homes that aren't really up to standard. Housing associations are just about money and not to help vulnerable people at all. They actually don't care at all, it's all just lip service.

I had a lot of plastering that needed…

I had a lot of plastering that needed doing Andy and Darren you were fantastic not only did you make me feel at ease but the way the work was done and how you guys interacted with my children was amazing!! I highly recommend these 2 men!! They was here for 4 days and always put a smile on my face very polite men too thank you so much again Andy and Darren (plaster men)

Should be Zero stars!

I genuinely believe Sovereign (trading as SNG) to be a criminal organisation. I am convinced this will come out one day. I see others suspect the same thing, you need to reach your own conclusion. There is nothing positive I can say about them.

No care for people whatsoever

Issues with damp and mould in my friends property. This is affecting their breathing an mental health.

They have had no help from this disgraceful association other than sending someone to look at the damp, take some photos and then do absolutely nothing about it.

I have raised a complaint on their behalf and have the most ridiculous emails stating we’ll hear something in 10 day, but of course nothing is done.

They do not care whatsoever for their tenants.

I am completely disgusted!

Do not go with these people, they’re only interested in the money they get, not the people they’re housing.

If I could give less that 1* I would!

Really bad service …

I want to express my dissatisfaction with the ongoing delays regarding the repair of our fence, which was initially scheduled for October 2023. Despite multiple rescheduling attempts, including an appointment on July 20th, the technician did not return after initially visiting, leaving us without resolution. We have now been informed that the next appointment is set for December, and I am apprehensive that it may also be canceled, reflecting a lack of professionalism in your service

Sovereign van fly tipped an enormous…

Sovereign van fly tipped an enormous bag of rubbish outside my house yesterday afternoon. We don't even live in a housing association area and this guy was clocked removing the rubble bag from his van at the top of my drive and actually walked down my driveway to leave it outside my front door! It's a complete violation and trespassing on private property

Absolute disgrace, of a housing Association

Well where do I start , firstly I moved in to my
Sovereign prison cell 2 years ago now , worst mistake I’ve ever made in my whole life . My neighbours our psychotic , mentally unstable bullies , they have made my life a living Hell since the first day I moved in , with their screaming loudly through my wall all hours of the night , shouting at me , calling me names for absolutely NO Reason , I don’t even know them . There is a female neighbour of mine who is definitely in some serious need of some kind of psychiatric help .. definitely some kind of mental illness.. and drug use going on , she has taken upon herself to bully me day and night for some reason only known to herself , second we’ll sovereign what do I say , their absolute garbage , I
Have reported and reported my mentally unstable neighbours to sovereign.. for 2 years and NOTHING has been done , only for sovereign to call my mental health in to Question, great News tho . I am moving out at some point soon , I just needed to write this review.. to help anyone wanting to move in to a sovereign property, please AVOID at all costs

A bunch of thieves and fraudsters they…

A bunch of thieves and fraudsters they always try to charge you much more than you should pay them. They offer you the worst quality of services after begging them to do the things they should do as landlords and they don’t take it as it’s their duty to do these things and keep their tenants happy safe and satisfied.

It was that worst choice I have ever made moving to one of your properties.
Stop thinking that you’re on the top of the people. God damn sovereign and the day I moved in into your miserable place.

No grounds maintenance

Since Sovereign Housing joined with the London Housing Association the quality of service has gotten worse if that was even possible. Grounds Maintenance wasn't great when we had contractors who never carried out work when they felt like it. It was ridiculous that we had to pay a service fee for no service. It was announced at the start of the year that grounds maintenance was being brought in house. The bushes are so high it is dangerous and paths inaccessible, making pedestrians have to walk on the road. I reported and took pictures that my elderly neighbours had a fully grown tree blocking light and branches dangerously over hanging the garden, as the tree hasn't ever been maintained, in fact there are many other trees that pose a danger due to not being maintained.
Then there is the fencing that acts as a border between properties the posts/beams are completely rotten after 20+ years and dangerous in areas of the scheme. Reported and a work order raised in June 2024, they have pencilled in work to begin in October 2024, funny 28 days for non urgent.
But this shouldn't come as a surprise as there has been no maintenance of the properties for many years and it really is beginning to show. Guttering in disrepair because they haven't been cleared of moss and leaves as they used to be at regular intervals, roof tiles in disrepair, windows and doors that have reached end of life not replaced, even when it's clear they need to be, because they haven't reached the replacement threshold. Despite environmental factors to the contrary causing the glass needing replacement every couple of years due to heat damage and condensation getting in between the pains. These may appear to be small matters but they soon add up, making living conditions miserable for the tenants, because in areas you have the broken window syndrome. From the poor rating score on here it's clear that there are many others with the same experiences.

So we are part buy part rent as soon as they get your money they are done we have had the most awful social housing people put next door they destroyed the fence and sovereign tried to tell me it was our fence but I got my paper work out which proved it was there fence thought I was born yesterday. Then I needed to update my name with them so we can sell up told my date of birth is wrong in the account so could I tell them how much we pay in our part of the rent no that’s wrong even when I took a screen shot of the account then for three days they kept sending me the same email to reply with my date of birth and rent amount so can’t change my name because they are a bunch of clowns I really advise don’t use them use Bromford or Guinness I tell a lot of people going to buy to never go with them they are a complete joke .

Money matters to SNG not lives…

Third time within 7months our basement carpark flooded. They donot even have courtesy to arrange a team to clear the water. The water level is so high that it is going in the lift pit. They do not care about anything except money they get in service charge. All they are saying it is TNQ who deal with it. First we are being discriminated by TNQ and second SNG is doing nothing to fix the issue. Both companies lives doesn’t matter. For them emergency means a team will relpy in few working days if they happen to read through the email.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I will keep this as short as possible.

Repairs reported from years ago and absolutely nothing done to fix them, with young children in the house!

Issues with neighbours - if you report any sort of issue with a neighbour you will be told to not judge how other people live. You will also be told that the issue is not an issue. You will be gaslit and accused.

Customer service is awful. Any issues you have if you need to call, you’ll be waiting for an hour at least, to speak to someone. When you do, they can’t wait to get you off of the phone. You will be talking to a young person with no life experience and who doesn’t care about why you called. They are 99% of the time, unable to help you.

SNG Sovereign Housing is absolutely awful and anybody looking to rent from them I would strongly advise to steer clear.

Sovereign housing association is…

Sovereign housing association is extorting money for services that are not being provided properly with extremely poor service when there contractors bother to turn up , The communal hallways and entrances are not cleaned properly with rubbish left for months on end which we are paying for weekly but services getting pourer ,
The ground maintenance gardener's are a bunch of cowboys never picking the rubbish up leaving the grass uncut in many areas , once again we’re paying a weekly fee for ground maintenance but we’re lucky if we see them once a month, hedging is over growing the pathways causing one to walk of path to avoid the brambles and overgrown shrubbery ,
Sovereign staff are ignoring our request for proper maintenance of the grounds and hallways,
They are the worst housing association I’ve ever none,
I do not recommend them as far as I could throw them.
0/ 10 for there complete disrespect and discard to there tenants.

No customer service

The houses are built incredibly cheaply and with shoddy building work. Customer service is none existent. You can’t get through to any of the teams you need to speak too nor do you receive a response upon complaint. I am now being forced to go through the housing ombudsman and will need to seek legal advice regarding the detriment they’ve caused to my mental health
