Zip Water national account manager Chris Martin and his management, service and installation team have consistently provided my organisation with par excellence service from day one - an above and beyond approach which is highly appreciated. attitude nearly 2 years into this working relationship. It's also worth noting that the Zip Water product range for the commercial office environment simply has no equals from rival competitors - hands down the best and most robust equipment in the water filter tap market!

Polite, friendly and professional. Very good overall.
Everyone I dealt with was very polite, friendly and professional from the initial advisor I spoke to through to Gary, the engineer who carried out the work. I would give that element of the service 10/10. The only area that could have been slightly improved was if the work could have been carried out a bit quicker - the date had to be rescheduled after the initial appointment date. Overall though, the service was very good.

Disappointing quality for such premium-price product
Bought a Zip HydroTap residential for $5,000 expecting it to last. The main board failed after just three years. When I raised it, customer service said "well, it's just like a computer" - well, I've never had a $5,000 computer die after 3 years either.
Then came the real cost of ownership: replacement parts are expensive (~ $450 for the main board alone, ~$250 for a filter). At that point you're questioning whether repairing is even worth it.
Customer service response was disappointing too. I submitted a couple of inquiries through their website and got zero response for three months. The only way I got any traction was giving up online and calling directly.
For a premium-priced product, I expected premium reliability and support. Got neither. Can't recommend.

Service Plus
The service engineer arrived on time and, as promised, called ahead to tell us that he was on his way. He did a thorough job of servicing our Zip tap and investigated a recurring "compressor overrun" error.
A few days later an installation engineer came to fix the problem completely by making some modifications to the installation itself. Our Zip tap is now working flawlessly again.

Fantastic service and very quick
Fantastic service and very quick. A great product and an amazing service. My zip tap is 11 years old now and have recently taken out an annual insurance with zip. Used this service twice and I can not fault it.

Must try harder!!
My experience with ZipWater is somewhat mixed. I have an annual service plan and my initial contact with customer services to schedule a visit and to discuss the huge cost increase was appalling. There
was a mix up on their computer system and I was being charged as if I was a new customer. The Agent showed no empathy nor offered an apology. I eventually got hold of someone else and they stated they would sort the computer issue, cost and appointment. On the day of the appointment, bearing in mind I’d waited in all day, at 3pm I received a call to cancel, I was not best pleased despite their apology and I never received any compensation for service failure. Eventually a new appointment was scheduled and things went really well. Engineers did a great job albeit, they never phoned ahead as promised. Communication from Zip is not the greatest nor are their policies for dealing with customers. Needs a shake up in my opinion and must try harder!!

I do apologise for the confusion and inconvenience with the contract renewal. I can see that our team cancelled this as when the plan was originally set up, you asked our team not to renew this automatically. My colleague Jack then offered the service plan at a discounted rate due to the issues. I also apologise for the visit being suddenly rescheduled, unfortunately we cannot account for engineers being delayed in the field, which in this instance was what happened.
I'm glad to hear that after these issues, the service was more positive and our engineer attended as expected.
I will be addressing this with the relevant team leaders to ensure our service is better moving forwards.
