I am very pleased with my Gagarin watch with its rapid, beautiful tick.

It arrived very well packaged and in a lovely wooden presentation box. Its progress to my doorstep was easy to track via Ukrainepost.

The order took a little time to process but Artur at Sputnik was quick to deal with my concerns.

He sent my watch for additional checks and takes pride in making sure his goods are in the best possible condition before they're sent off.

If you're worried about any poor reviews - don't be and have faith in this small Kiev company.

I had the pleasure of purchasing a watch from Artur at Sputnik. The watch is of incredible quality and the service was absolutely brilliant. Artur was super cool to deal with and was able to offer expert advice on some after market watch parts that I was searching for. I can’t recommend Artur highly enough. Absolutely brilliant. Sad that I can only provide a 5 star rating. It should have been 10 out of 10

UPDATE – May 3, 2026

The seller has now shipped the watch. Tracking shows it is on its way to my German forwarding address.

What happened honestly:

The seller's mistake:
He honestly did not know that Ukrposhta cannot ship to Kuwait right now due to the Middle East crisis (airspace closed – official postal ban confirmed). He admitted the mistake, apologized, and offered to either keep the watch until shipping resumes or give me a full refund.

To his credit:
- He offered a refund immediately – no argument
- He was willing to hold the watch indefinitely
- When I suggested a German forwarding address, he agreed and shipped the same day
- He provided a real tracking number

I will update this review again when the watch arrives in Kuwait and I inspect it.

The seller is not a scammer. He is a small Ukrainian business who made an honest mistake about shipping restrictions. His communication is slow, but he did the right thing.
I chose to update the review instead of deleting it, cause someone might have read the previous one and didnt have the chance to read the update, which will be unjust for the seller. Its better i correct my mistake in the same manner I made.

I was concerned about some reviews on other sites regarding this company.I almost cancelled the order, but I'm pleased I didn't. The watch I bought is beautiful, and the craftsmanship is exquisite. It is very hard to buy windup wristwatches—which I prefer over automatics. The case and crystal are solid and excellent quality. Very accurate. For the price, the quality is better than some of my expensive automatic watches.

Recently purchased a Sputniks1957 watch as I liked the dial. It was around $250 or so. Shipping was reasonably fast (2-3 weeks) but it arrived non-functional. Opened communication with he company (Alex?), and after I sent him a video he proceeds to tell me that I shook the watch too hard 😒… then he tells me to find a watch maker locally to see if repair would cost less so he doesn’t have to pay anything for shipping. After explaining that I don’t know anyone local to fix watches, he disappeared and ignored my communications. I threw this piece of shit in the garbage right after this. DON’T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SCAM ARTIST…

Ordered a watch for my son’s birthday. Beautiful watch, very happy son. Communication with seller was outstanding.

Bought a watch , claimed to be 80s vintage Russian watch, actually a cheap brand new low quality watch, when I tried to return it the company said it would refund me once it was returned, I tracked the package and it arrived but the company claimed it didn’t and wouldn’t refund me . I had to get my credit card company involved to get my money back, don’t buy from this scam company and don’t listen to the fake 5 star reviews.

This is the second watch I have bought. One arrived a couple of years ago and is still working well and the other arrived safely yesterday.

These are goo quality vintage watches refurbished and serviced to perfection.

The seller is reliable, polite and helpful.

Appears to be a scam company. Bought an expensive watch which broke almost immediately and now cannot contact the company. Email address not recognised and messenger service elicits no response. Avoid!
