You selected our perfect paperwork package where we prepare your documents and provide extra instructions so you may file on your own. We also provide a demand letter template so you can tailor it to your needs and submit as needed. If you would like us to file for you, this would require an upgrade to one of our filing packages. Since you have already been provided your paperwork in a timely manner according to the package you have selected, this typically means you would not be eligible for a refund. Squabble is a non-refundable service as laid out in our terms of use. You may see our terms of use on our website, which were also presented to you twice and accepted twice before your initial checkout.

Squabble made the process of filing my Case Simple

Squabble made the process of filing my case in Small Claims court simple, quick, and easy. Additionally, when the defendant wanted to settle the case, Squabble helped me with submitting my Request for Dismissal to the court, which prevented me from having to take time off work to get it all processed. Though I can only speak for myself, their service worked best for me and my situation.

For those who may have complaints, Squabble clearly states on its website that they are NOT your Lawyer, so if you believe you need guidance, seek professional help from an Attorney before using any service. In my case, I didn't require one (an Attorney); therefore, I got what I needed from Squabble based on the specifications of my situation.

No support, AI gives misinformation

First, you can never speak to a support person; everything is done through their AI. Their AI provides inaccurate and frankly false information. AI said I would get legally compliant paperwork and a professional demand letter. The SC-100 that they provided was not compliant, and they gave me a template for a letter that was not even pertinent to my case. I am not sure they have legal people behind their AI providing services. I filed a protest with my credit card company, refusing to pay their fee. I feel ripped off!

We apologize if there were any confusion, however, you were interacting with our live agents and we attempted to provide additional assistance. The sc100 form we provided is a compliant form sourced from the courts and is the same form we use when filing on behalf of our customers. We had provided a completed claim form with extra instructions on how to proceed. We also provide a free demand letter template for our customers; however, it still requires your input to tailor it to your needs.

Grossly Unprofessional Conduct and Refusal to Provide Paid Legal Services

My wife and I paid for the highest package. We had trouble communicating with this company.
- Multiple people employed by this company spelt my name incorrectly. Considering this is a company dealing with legal paperwork, spelling a client's legal name correctly is of high importance.
-They scheduled a meeting the same day without our consent and blamed us for not attending. It took over a week to get online with a supervisor.
- Once we were online with a supervisor, he escalated the conversation and refused to continue service. He never acknowledged or provided corrective action for our concerns and did not come prepared to the meeting. The supervisor dismissed the importance of spelling my husband's name correctly and called the problem "trivial." By the end of the call, the supervisor had barely addressed our concerns and refused to continue our service.
- At every opportunity, this company attempted to nickel and dime my wife and I, constantly saying we had to pay more or do "add ons" to our service.
- This company was not up to date on our situation and repeatedly asked us for updates.

We requested a refund for the service charge multiple times with no response. We eventually disputed the charge on our credit card.

Update - We won the dispute and received the requested refund.

We are sorry to hear of your experience with us. We had previously addressed your concerns elsewhere and would also like to address them here after reviewing your case and interactions with Squabble:
- Your name is spelled correctly on your filing and on every other document relating to your case that Squabble has handled.
- At your wife's request, we scheduled a meeting as quickly as possible to discuss your concerns and NEVER applied blame when you were not able to attend. In fact, we were happy to schedule a new meeting as quickly as possible.
- When we were able to connect with you, we never escalated the conversation. Our main focus was to simply de-escalate and address actionable items and tasks to progress your case. For Squabble to escalate conversations serves no purpose, especially for you, our customer.
- Service of process failed after several attempts. In fact, we promise 3 to 4 attempts and the process server went above and beyond making 8 attempts before failing your order. Unfortunately, once an order fails, you must research for an alternate address and purchase a new service order. This is true with us or any other third party process server. We are not trying to nickel and dime you especially since these are third party costs. Process servers do deserve payment for diligent efforts.
- While we understand your frustrations, you are the best source for your current concerns and frustrations. We mean no ill will when we ask what your concerns are and how can we move forward.
- Unfortunately, since you had already filed for a chargeback, nothing can be done until the investigation by your bank and our merchant is complete. Our merchant literally blocks any action until the investigation is complete.

Squabble was amazing! I had a great experience from beginning to end and the support team was extremely responsive. The customer portal was very easy to log into and find updates for my case. I look forward to working with the Squabble team again!

process server only tried to serve…

process server only tried to serve papers 2 times. and it took awhile to actually try, which left me know time to start trying to get them served. so had to pay to upgrade to civil court, i'm doing it by myself.

We've sent your question over to the process server but the reason there were only 2 attempts and service failed was because the server spoke with an individual who identified themselves as the resident and they stated the subject was unknown. The server also spoke with a property manager/landlord who said Jabesh Seymore was not resident. The server spoke with the current occupant who stated they just moved in. The property manager stated the subject (Jabesh Seymore) is not on the lease and/or not a resident in the unit.

High fees, no communication

They charged high fees, and then kept adding on fees for a small court claims case. Saying it had to change jurisdictions etc. Even submitting documentation, they only accept one file at a time so I had to message over a dozen times to just submit my case. They don't send any phone, email, or mail updates. When my case was scheduled - they didn't notify my at all, and they had all communications from the court routed to them. I ended up missing my case because the only way to know is if I logged into my account. From filing with them, it was four months until the court date - so I can't imagine people would be expected to check on a weekly basis to see if their case has been scheduled. Since they are not an attorney, they also should not be receiving court documents directly, those should be going to the plaintiff (customer). This is a scam, don't use them.

So happy I found this company

So happy I found this company. I didn't have time to file this small claim case on my own and didn't want to hire an attorney. This was the perfect solution and they made the process so easy for me. They are even tracking down the person I am suing to serve them. They kept me informed about each step and answered my questions. I would definitely use Squabble for all future small claims.

Would recommend to people out of state

I was initially very skeptical of using this service with the amount of poor reviews, but with me being out of state of where I needed to file, this was my only good choice. I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything went. A lot of people reported not being able to contact them, but I had no issues. They send you a message portal when you first sign up, which I used to ask questions periodically throughout the process. They always got back to me within a few days. I was able to get my settlement and had to file a motion myself, but they answered my questions about that even though I didn’t pay for that service. For people out of state with little options, I think this is a great way to go, just make sure you have a good case and know where the defendant lives or else you’ll have issues with service of summons. It was a little pricey, but overall worth it I would recommend to others in a similar situation.

We had provided a completed form for you to then sign and notarize on your own time. This step cannot be completed by Squabble for obvious reasons. After 7 months of working with this…

After 7 months of working with this company, I FINALLY got into small claims court to find out that it is ILLEGAL for a business to sue another business unless you use an ATTORNEY. Squabble should have known this and advised correctly. Now I am out my money, plus I have to hire a real ATTORNEY to take care of this matter. I can not get a hold of anyone at this location. SAVE your money and go somewhere else, so you don't run into the same fate. Total B.S

An absolute joke of company. You will waste your time and $$ and get no help. They are scam. I battled with them for months and they continued to mess up simple small claims filing again and again. They don't care, they take your money and run. Their guarantee? Worthless. Just stay away.

Great service

It's great having a service like squabble available. The reality is that regular law firms won't handle small claims court type cases. And figuring out the paperwork is a time-consuming hassle. Once squabble set up the court date and served the defendant (an old client who ghosted me after refusing to pay his bill), surprise, he got back to me and we were able to settle out of court. While they don't have a 1-800 hotline for support, you can send and get messages through their internal messaging system which works just fine.

Honestly wasn’t sure what to expect…

Honestly wasn’t sure what to expect with Squabble but figured I’d give it a shot since I didn’t want to mess with figuring out all the paperwork myself. I had a small claims case over a security deposit my landlord wouldn’t return.

I ended up using their “File My Case”. They filed it for me and sent me updates as it progressed. I still had to show up for my court date they don’t represent you but having everything organized and correct gave me a lot more confidence going in.

My only complaint is that it’s not the cheapest. But I did win my case and got my $1,200 back, so totally worth it in the end!

Would definitely use it again if I needed to. Way easier than trying to figure it all out on my own.
