Highly recommend Squid Go
I first heard about Squid Go when my consultant mentioned it to me after sustaining a knee injury.
After two surgeries and on going rehab, I have used the Squid Go everyday. It has made a massive difference to my knee and rehab so far and continues to help me.
I even used the Squid Go on holidays abroad, which allowed me to carry on my rehab wherever I was in the world.
Terry who has helped me also throughout my Squid Go journey.
I would highly recommend Squid Go to anyone who is injured and going through rehab.

Thanks for the feedback on the purchase of the LEG/Knee SQUID GO unit in early February 2025, and the 2 additional Gel Packs that you purchased 6 weeks later in order to maximise the 'super cold SQUIDDING time' duiring your surgical rehabilitation. In fact, so many people have told us that they benefit from having a 2nd Gel Pack, that as standard, we now offer a 20% discount on additional Gel Packs to people that are buying a SQUID GO unit. Thanks again for sharing and your updates on your recovery from multiple surgeries - again, highlighting the Value that a SQUID GO purchase makes, versus the alternative of hiring a different premium quality cold compression device. As you shared recently, being able to lend your unit to a family member after their own knee surgery, highlights the Value of owning a premium quality cold compression device, versus hiring one, for 4 weeks at a time... at a fairly similar price point.
Horrible durability
Nice product that is practical and easy how ever the durability is horrible. Within a year the first gel Pack leaked and by the the second year the other one did as well. I needed to glue the compression wrap together my self at the valve since it was leaking. Now after 4 years (and only monthly use) the motor seems unable to inflate anymore.

I see that overall, you like and respect the USP of the SQUID GO ('practical and easy'), however feel that the durability of the product is "horrible".
My name is Terry Byca, and I became the UK distributor in December 2024, so almost 11 months ago now. From the records that I acquired from the previous distributor (who was selling SQUID and SQUID GO in UK since 2014), I see you purchased your KNEE Squid Go unit on February 10, 2022.
As you hopefully know, all of the components come with a 1 year full warranty - so I am curious if you ever contacted the people you purchased Squid Go from, if the first Gel Pack began leaking "within a year" (?) Since taking over the distribution, I have had a very small number of complaints, and was able to resolve them quickly to the satisfaction of the Customer/Client each time.
You also mention that you had to glue the valve back to the compression wrap, yet didn't mention the time frame, so curious if that was also within the first year, and if you ever tried to contact the distributor you purchased from.
As for the Pump unit, I am surprised that you say that "the motor seems unable to inflate anymore". What exactly is happening? Do you get an error message(s)? Is the Pump fully charged? (I have sent you an email, asking for this information from the info@squidgo.co.uk account - along with my WhatsApp number in case you prefer to speak live.)
My focus is on Customer satisfaction and I take it very seriously.
I have a pump I bought from the previous distributor that is 11 years old and working perfectly as I use it for my demos... we have a Welsh International female football/soccer player that has been using SQUID GO for her ankle for at least 5 years and everything is still working perfectly... she bought an extra LEG/Knee wrap and Gel Pack as she prepared in June for the Euros 2025 championships... a physio (Dave F) formerly of Blackpool Rovers tells me he has pumps from 10 years ago and wraps still in use... etc etc..
And yes, sometimes things do break, and go wrong... and I take care of the Customers immediately.
Again, thanks for making time to send in your honest review - it is the reason that I set up the page, in order for ALL clients to share their experiences with others... it is only this way that people/companies/products, can improve, (if they want to).

Squid Go Ankle Unit
Good product! I bought the ankle unit which has helped my recovery from an Achilles tendon rupture. I had surgery 8 weeks ago and the ankle Wrap has helped significantly to reduce pain and swelling.

Would definitely recommend
We were recommended the squid go to manage the swelling following my daughter's knee injury and subsequent surgery. The device fits well and is portable which meant we could bring it on holiday with us. The combination of compression and ice had quick results on the swelling. We had a little issue with the cuff, but this was quickly resolved by the company, communication was great, quick response and personable. My other daughter has even started to use it for recovery after her sport. Would definitely recommend.

Thanks for sharing your experience. It was good to realise that your daughter preferred the KNEE wrap, over the LEG/Knee wrap, due to it being more contoured to the knee, and easier to take off, due to having (far) less Velcro.

Excellent customer services, I wasn’t sure that I’d bought the right cuff so I emailed them and less than 24 hours later I received a really helpful reply . The machine is entirely portable and allowed my son to massively reduce his reliance on pain killers .

Outstanding Product and Service
The service from SquidGo is impeccable from start to finish. Terry advised me on which product is right for me and the benefits of choosing the knee cuff over the leg wrap. Unlike some companies out there I was never pressured into making a decision and was supported not only prior to purchase but also following. The aftercare from SquidGo is second to none and I can genuinely say I have never had such a personable experience of purchasing a product. I was made to feel valued and supported and this has a big impact on why I would recommend SquidGo.
As an International athlete who was recovering from knee surgery, I looked at available products for cryotherapy and compression. Compared to alternative options, SquidGo outperforms them both on price and functionality. Because the ice pack is reusable I was able to take my unit with me when travelling without relying on purchasing ice which is also an added expense. My recovery from surgery was so fast that both my physio and surgeon were astounded at the rate of progress and I have no doubt that my SquidGo unit played a huge role in this.
If you are considering SquidGo’s products then I am positive you will be delighted with their service and product functionality. I highly recommend!

You were instrumental in validating that the Insulated Carry bag we have added, is indeed 'fit for purpose' as you tested it by taking to the gym with you etc... love watching your progress as you go back to the International competitions that are a passion for you - GO GO GO!
Squid go helped me recover and win for Team GB
I have been using the right shoulder squid go for months and it has been a huge help with injury recovery, general inflammation and muscle recovery. I used while preparing for the European championships and it really helped me get through my routines and make it to the competition, Incredible product would recommend, 💙

Great product and brilliant customer service
Great product and brilliant customer service.
I had surgery for ACL, meniscus and LET at the start of October and was advised this product. I tried both the knee and Knee/Leg sleeve. I opted to keep the Knee/Leg sleeve as the larger ice compression sleeve was extremely useful for the swelling and bruising on my hamstring and lower leg. It has been a great product and helped reduce significant swelling.
I would thoroughly recommend!

You are one of the people that preferred the LEG/Knee Wrap (more cylindrical and versatile) over the smaller and more contoured KNEE Wrap...especially as it allows you to also deliver cold and compression to the back of your leg - many people who have hamstring graft ACL reconstruction(s), do tell us that SQUID GO is very helpful in managing the (quite severe for many people) pain from the 'hamstring graft donor site'. Health and Wellness and back to the sports you enjoy in due course.

As a specialist knee surgeon
As a specialist knee surgeon, I would thoroughly recommend the SquidGo to aid recovery from knee surgery. It is highly effective at reducing pain and swelling and therefore speeding recovery.
I also recommend for athletes (especially aging ones like myself!) to help post exercise recovery.
The SquidGo is easy to use and has the advantage over other cryotherapy devices of being mobile.
The company are professional and will advise the best cuff for individual needs and it will usually be delivered next day.

Thanks for the recent purchase of another Squid Go LEG/Knee Unit - always goes over well with prospective clients when they realise that the surgeon performing their Knee Replacement (TKR), Cruciate Ligament, Meniscal or Osteotomy procedure(s), is also seeing the value of owning their own SQUID GO unit.
Great unit speeds heslong
Live in Canada and received the shoulder and elbow kit as a gift. I was pre surgery for a shoulder replacement and had issues with my elbow as well from the condition of shoulder. The Squidgo was excellent in providing relief in pain management for my shoulder was instrumental in helping with my elbow. I’m 3 weeks postoperative with shoulder replacement and again both kits very helpful with reducing swelling and helping with discomfort. Highly recommend this device. With cost of physio now days it pays for itself in no time.

An excellent product
An excellent product, that uses chilled gel pads instead of ice. This makes the product small and very portable. It worked wonders after my TKR.
The after sales service is exemplary. I was given a replacement after a machine malfunction, with no questions asked.

After falling down the stairs and injuring my ankle, the Squidgo was recommended by my doctor.
This product has help my healing process, with ease. I would recommend using these products for any injury rehabilitation

Squidgo has changed my life
Squidgo has changed my life!
It was recommended by my orthopaedic consultant for my arthritic knees (trying to delay having knee replacement surgery for as long as possible) in May.
I have used it systematically since then and not only am I more mobile, my pain has decreased dramatically. I hardly ever take the anti inflammatory medication now and only occasionally take some paracetamol.
I use it before bed and it really stops the pulsating, throbbing pain I was dealing with all the time previously.
I am now playing Pickleball 3 times a week and feel so different.
The service I got from Terry at Squidgo was amazing and I really felt supported and looked after.
I think I must recommend this to at least one person daily!! (As a 63 year old I meet fellow sufferers all the time!!)
Thank you Squidgo- the best thing I’ve ever done for my well being and pain management!

Asima - you are one of the many potential clients that made time to contact me directly and ask (many, many) questions prior to agreeing that a 14 day Money Back guarantee was worth the 'risk' of trying something new. I remember you travelling overseas a few days after receiving your SQUID GO - and sharing your feedback about the quick and real decrease in your use of painkillers to manage the pain from Osteo Arthritis. You are also fortunate to be married to an engineer I recall, as when one of the O-rings on the pump became worn out (due to you being such a frequent "Squidder") he diagnosed the issue quickly and repaired the issue quickly with the replacement O-ring that we sent out. May those Knees of yours keep working for several more years prior to any replacement surgery... and if/when that happens, you already own the device that will keep your swelling and pain manageable, in the post surgery phase... VALUE.
