I wish I could give negative stats
This is the worst moving experience I've ever had. We contacted Amerisafe who subcontracted our move to Stanford. We weren't told which day the pickup would be until the day before. We were told drop off would be 3-5 days after our first available date. Today is day 5 and now we're being told it will be another 3-6 days. We have a trip planned for this weekend that week have to cancel thanks to your horrible service.

According to the signed Bill of Lading, your First Available Delivery Date (FADD) was July 23. Your shipment has already been scheduled for delivery between July 30 and August 2, which is within the contractual delivery timeframe for your move.
We understand that earlier estimated timeframes may have created different expectations. However, interstate deliveries are completed according to the terms of the signed transportation agreement and truck routing availability.
We appreciate your patience and look forward to completing your delivery as scheduled.

My baby Blue loved Vasyl and Ihor even…
My baby Blue loved Vasyl and Ihor even though they took her bed. Both men were gentleman, hardworking, kind and kept me apprised throughout the process. They experty navigated a difficult driveway. They were able to pack numerous odd sized items and boxes. I highly recommend Stanford Van Lines.

Horrible Experience
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY to provide a basic level of service. DO NOT TRUST THEM with your possessions. I had over 50 items damaged after paying $45,000 for what I believed included packing services. Many items were not packed at all - just thrown in boxes - and Stanford continues to refuse to take any accountability for the lack of service provided and have put the blame on me for not getting enough insurance coverage.
They also left us with a box that was not ours and one year later still have not found the owner.

andrew nikolaichuk and dmytro were great movers! they moved all our things into the house quickly and effectively. we had a big king bed that needed to be assembled along with other furniture and they put it together and it was smooth. the movers are great!

The delivery guys an pick up were great. They delivered in a timely manner. Unloading was quick a they put everything back together. They took care of our gear nothing was damaged. Overall did a great job.

Delivery gone wrong- Company silent
Today we had Stanford Van Lines deliver our belongings that were brought from Iowa to Illinois. At first everything seemed ok except the two men that brought our stuff had no idea that they were supposed to assemble the furniture even though we paid for that package. Then, they were putting our desk together and broke the desk in half. After that, the foot board to our son’s bed never arrived with all the rest of the stuff so his bed is completely useless. They accidentally ripped a hand rail out of the wall (which they were able to eventually fix after we reminded them that it was still hanging off the wall. After it seemed like they had set everything up and took off (after trying to casually say they accept tips) we started to get the TV unboxed and went to go lay it on the couch for protection. They set the backs of the couch together but had them all mixed up and not even hooked in properly. So we spent that time putting that together which, ok no big deal but take the 10 minutes to do that when you know you are supposed to be putting the furniture together. Then we sat the TV on the stand we had and noticed that they had broken one of the corners with a leg so that now has to be thrown out and replaced. We immediately called the company to start filing a claim for all of the things that were broken or did not arrive with our stuff. We were sent to voicemail and so far have not heard back from them. As a company this is not how you treat your customers and after spending $8500 on the movers alone, they need to fix this. If you are an employee of this company, do the right thing. This is absurd and I will be following up the the BBB and we will continue to call and send emails until this matter is resolved.

Our experience with Stanford Van Lines has been extremely frustrating.
After our belongings were picked up, the estimated volume increased to 1,455 cubic feet and our total cost increased to approximately $6,700. While we ultimately agreed to the revised estimate, the overall process felt very different from what had been represented when we booked the move.
The biggest issue has been communication and delivery delays. Based on the distance between Kentucky and Florida, we expected delivery within roughly 7–10 business days. Instead, we went more than three weeks without our belongings and received very limited information regarding where our shipment was located or when it would arrive.
Because of the delay, we were forced to purchase replacement necessities including cookware, clothing, and household items. I also had to start a new job without access to many of my belongings. My husband and I have been sleeping on an air mattress for weeks, which has been especially difficult because I suffer from chronic back pain.
To make matters worse, shortly before delivery we were informed that our apartment complex was not accessible by a semi-truck. We were given two options: pay an additional $1,455 shuttle fee or meet the truck at another location, rent our own U-Haul at our own expense, transfer our belongings ourselves, and then move everything into the apartment. We had informed the companies from the beginning that we were moving into an apartment complex.
What was originally presented as a full-service moving experience has turned into a stressful and expensive ordeal involving unexpected costs, long delays, poor communication, and significant inconvenience. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Stanford Van Lines.

Ravyn, Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that your First Available Delivery Date (FADD) was June 8, and your shipment will be delivered 26th June, within the federally authorized delivery timeframe outlined in your contract.
The increase in volume and cost was based on the actual amount of items presented at pickup and was approved prior to transportation.
Regarding the shuttle service, this additional service was required because the apartment complex could not safely accommodate a full-size semi-truck. When a tractor-trailer cannot access the delivery location, customers may either authorize a shuttle service or meet the truck at an accessible location. These procedures are standard in the moving industry and are outlined in the moving documents.
We appreciate your feedback and regret that your experience did not meet your expectations.
