£3.05 for a mediocre single espresso in a supermarket branch is too much. This is around 15% more than Caffe Nero or Costa with the former having much better coffee.

we went to starbucks and ordered our usual iced white mocha with oat milk, vanilla cold foam and caramel drizzel. my friend gets the same but with semi skimmed milk. we instantly were greeted with unfriendly service and the orders looked so underwhelming and not up to standard. they used a blender to make the cold foam which doesn’t normally happen however we looked past this, when they gave us our drinks there was no drizzle lining the cup and barely any of it to begin with so we asked for more, as we walked away we realised they gave my friend decaf just to top it off. for the prices we pay this is ridiculous.
Disapppointing poor service
Went today with friends we've been going quite often as handy to where we live & enjoyed drinks. Today was a completely different matter, we ordered 3 skinny grande lattes & got 3 semi skimmed iced lattes. We waited initially 20 minutes for drinks & were given wrong ones as put thro as takeaways when we were staying in. The member of staff who took our order had just finished his shift, we were then told our drinks wld be redone. We then had to wait a further 15 minutes. The priority seemed to be drive thrus. Tables were also left with previous customers dirty cups. There was not enough staff to deal with walk-ins & drive thrus. A very disappointing Saturday catch-up with friends & for the time being may avoid shame as they are dog friendly.
Publicly embarrased by workers
Me and my friends went to Starbucks to charge my phone due to a serious issue which we will not be discussing, and we got stopped by a couple of workers that said we had to pay for an item before using the upstairs. Before this we have done this many of times and not got told once. It’s quite embarrassing if someone just got stopped for trying to go upstairs and they were quite rude about it and said we couldn’t go upstairs. We said u would buy something later but we felt uncomfortable and left. The point is, it should feel like a comfortable environment and not be publicly embarrassed in front of a bunch of other customers. Not very happy.

I normally have someone wearing a balaclava when I am robbed
This company is so overvalued why? We went to the Brent x one. Tables were dirty and cups left on it. We ordered two medium cappuccinos and a tuna pannini to share. I asked for medium but seemed to get a massively large mug. The three items came to a crazy £14.40! To sit in a cafe! Is there any coffee in these chains mug of milk?

Starbucks Monks Cross York.
Starbucks Monks Cross York.
I went to the nearby Costa which clean, warm and bright and was so popular that there was a huge queue and no tables available. As a result I thought I would venture to the nearby Starbucks instead.
What a horrible shock - the place was cold, gloomy and (probably not surprisingly) almost empty. To add to the joy the seating was literally filthy. Most of the soft seating had ominous stains as if someone had urinated on them.
No wonder it was empty when Costa was bursting at the seams!
Starbucks at The Village Hotel Maidstone…
Visited Starbucks at the village Hotel in Maidstone. I support a lovely lady who gyms here and we as staff always grab a coffee so we are regulars. The young ladies that work at this Starbucks are so rude, laughing and making jokes about customers, the place was filthy! An elderly gentleman came and wanted to sit at a table but it was so filthy and when it was pointed out they blatantly ignored him about cleaning it up. So gross.

Starbucks at Eye Green in Peterborough
Starbucks at Eye Green in Peterborough provides excellent service. Emily is an outstanding employee, her coffee making skills are probably the best in the business. There's always a warm welcome, our favourite 'go to' place.
Regular customer treated like a…
Regular customer treated like a stranger — humiliating and unnecessary!
Visited Greenford Quay (UB60FT)
I’m genuinely shocked by how I was treated at this Starbucks. I come into this store every day — the staff know me well and they know my routine: I usually sit down, catch up on an email or eat a small sandwich, and then order my frappuccino before heading back to the office.
Today, I walked in as usual. The store was silent and almost empty. I sat down for a moment, and within seconds, a staff member (someone who serves me regularly) came over and told me I had to leave because I had a sandwich with me. She looked embarrassed and uncomfortable, which only made it worse — because she knows I always order before leaving.
The situation was completely unnecessary and honestly humiliating. It made me feel like I’d done something wrong when I hadn’t. The whole thing was awkward for both of us and completely avoidable with a bit of common sense.
Is Starbucks really telling loyal, paying customers that they can’t even sit down for a minute before ordering — even when the store is empty? What if I was waiting for a colleague? Would I be asked to wait outside too?
This branch has gone from warm and welcoming to cold and hostile.
I’ve always enjoyed coming here, often bringing team members for casual meetings, birthdays, and Christmas catch-ups — but after today, I don’t feel comfortable coming back.
If this is how Starbucks now treats its regulars, it says everything about the company’s direction. Avoid this branch if you value basic respect and decency.

Stopped to get a coffee at Starbucks heartshead moor services westbound drive through staff very pleasant was told they could not accept my 10 pound Scottish note .

Green Tea is Tasteless
My wife had a green tea, despite soaking for almost 10 minutes it remained virtually tasteless dross. For over £3 is was robbery. The tag said it was made from empowers clouds and mist, at least that description was accurate! I gad the usual tarry syrup sold as black coffee. How this place gas continued to be countrywide is beyond me. Avoid.

Their refund system is appalling, I've paid twice
Their refund system is appalling. I spent £10.65 on a coffee and a sandwich and when I paid, their system broke, but my Monzo notified me I'd paid HOWEVER Starbucks insisted I pay a SECOND time to get my order. Starbucks claim I'll be refunded in 3-5 days, so I'm now down £10.65 to a multinational for up to a week, 4 days later and I'm still waiting, so if it fails to auto-refund I'll have to return to Starbucks to argue my case, adding unnecessary workload to my already busy schedule.

Bought the new Toffee Apple Muffin..Clearly states it has a sweet apple FILLING. Oh no its a tiny tiny drop under the custard blob on the top. For the price you pay this is false advertising.
This is what sums up why at least seventy percent of Americans are pre diabetic
Starbucks is a perfect example of what’s wrong with the American food industry — and why health-conscious people like myself avoid American-run chains altogether.
Take something as simple as matcha. It’s meant to be a clean, antioxidant-rich drink rooted in centuries of Japanese tradition. Yet Starbucks turns it into a sugar-laden imitation. Compare that to brands like Hotel Chocolat, Pret, Smatcha, or JENKI — all of which use premium ceremonial-grade matcha. What do they have in common? None of them are American. That’s not a coincidence — it’s a pattern.
And matcha is just the tip of the iceberg.
Before you eat or drink anything from Starbucks, do yourself a favour: check the ingredients. You’ll find sugar syrup in nearly everything. In the U.S., it’s often corn syrup — even worse. If you want to join the 70% of Americans who are prediabetic, Starbucks is a reliable contributor. Sure, soft drinks like Coke play a role, but Starbucks wraps its sugar in a “wellness” disguise. It’s all about profit — even if it comes at the cost of long-term health.
We need to be more discerning about what we put in our bodies. With so many better options out there, why would I ever choose Starbucks?
Do me a favour Starbucks and close down. We have enough of western diet causing health issues like your McDonald’s, KFCs, Burger King, Wendy,s, Shake shack. McDonald’s is my worse because they also attract kids with their child meals with toys.
