Great food, the steak and ale pie is delicious, the hotel clean and tidy, great little touches for food and drink in the room to keep me going for the day, nice and friendly locals and staff, a nice little area too. A great experience.

Great place, good size rooms and friendly staff. 2nd time stay for us. Was nice to see the breakfast basket which was refilled every day.

Clean room and comfortable beds . Easy check in. A fan would have been appreciated in the current weather and there was no shower gel provided which would have been good.

Friendly staff, a clean and quiet room and a reasonable price. Breakfast was an unexpected bonus.

Staff kept us fully informed prior to our visit. Accommodation separate from the pub was quiet and comfortable. Food in the pub was great. Very easy to check in and out. Good experience and great for an overnight stay. Longer stays may want more but for quiet overnight or short stays highly recommended

Likes : comfy bed pillows and linen . Welcoming staff.
Dislikes: blackmould in windowless bathroom with poor lighting. Horrible.

Stayed at Trickys Hotel for work. Food and pub is really nice. Hotel rooms could do with a refurb as is very dated. No heating in rooms to dry off towels and floor mat in shower. Also no breakfast served.

We only stayed one night. The room was well prepared and clean. The bed was comfortable. The only drawback was there were no breakfast facilities. We don't have a car and given Trickies is a little bit out of the way that made it awkward. But the evening meal we had in the pub was very good.

When we arrived the member of staff in the inn was very helpful and showed us where to go and all the information we needed. The room was clean and had everything we needed and a lovely view over the fields. The facilities were good. We were only there overnight but would definitely stay again as it was very comfortable and quiet.
The food, I'm told, is very good, but because of the short time there, we did not experience it.

Great dog friendly stay and staff were helpful and very friendly. Highly recommend.

Nice accommodation

It was ok in that it was clean but I wouldn’t rush back. You have to pay full price as a solo traveller. I had to queue for ages at an absolutey packed bar to get a key - there was nobody on reception at the hotel during my stay- again not very pleasant for a solo female traveller. It was hot but I didn’t feel safe to have my window open overnight as someone could easily have climbed in. And then in the morning there was no hot water for a shower- not a great start to the day.

Lovely weekend in this beautiful cottage

Beautiful lodge, could do with thicker curtains as people outside could see in so not a lot of privacy. Apart from that it was beautiful and clean. Great food and staff at the bar and restaurant. Will definitely book again x

We stayed at Piskey Cottage, Mousehole 8-12 January. The cottage is fabulous and although the parking spot was tight, it was manageable. The property is well laid out and very clean. The location was excellent, just a few steps to a good selection of restaurants. We had some issues with the heating but the housekeeping team (Nina) kept us in the loop regarding the fix required, and supplied us with additional electric heating, logs and coals. Thanks Emma at Stay Ca for following up on this. We would highly recommend Stay Ca Holidays and Piskey Cottage, and in fact have booked again for a week in September.

Cosy, well equipped, charming and close to Mousehole harbour, this immaculately presented property is perfect.
Well maintained with a very well equipped kitchen & utility/boot room.
Modern shower and deep bath, one double & one twin & one single bedroom.
Log fire place for those cosy evenings.
Central heating throughout.
Beautiful

Loved this little gem. Perfect place to end our days of hiking and sightseeing. Will come again!
