Horrible site. False advertisement
Horrible site. False advertisement at its best. I booked a room and I have no issue with my room or the Hotel. That part was great, but this travel site is -10. They charged me for the room plus all the taxes so they say, but then the hotel charged me too. I called the hotel and they said some sites like this one doesn't really charge everything so you end up with a second charge from the hotel for the real taxes. I paid $53 to the site and was charged an additional $40.33 from the hotel. Totaling almost a hundred dollars. Will never use a foreign agency again. Complete unacceptable and deceiving.
Scam
Booked a room, Stayforless used a 3rd party to book the room. The 3rd party did not supply the hotel with the funds, the hotel called said 3rd party multiple times and could not resolve the payment so they sent a cancelation request. I had to pay for the room a second time. Called stayforless for a refund and it has been 4 weeks, still nothing. I should have just disputed the charge to begin with.

Habe das mehrfach versucht, Geld war dann weg, eine Buchungsbestätigung habe ich nie bekommen (wurde auch nicht im Hotel angefragt). Die nächsten Betrüger sind die Kreditkartenunternehmen (hier Visa) die einen im Kampf gegen diese Betrüger nicht unterstützen...Geld weg, kein Hotelzimmer.

Title: Horrific Stay – No Accountability from La Quinta, Wyndham, or Third-Party Booking Site
I stayed at the La Quinta Inn & Suites in Franklin, TN, and this experience was absolutely unacceptable.
Dirty and Unsafe Room: My room had red-stained sheets and no working TV, which is basic for any hotel stay.
Intrusive Housekeeping: I was woken twice before 9 AM by housekeeping knocking at my door.
No Resolution Offered: When I asked for a refund or even a free night, the hotel refused. Wyndham said because I booked through a third-party site (Stay for Less), they couldn’t help me. Stay for Less, in turn, said they couldn’t do anything either.
This raises a serious question: who holds hotels accountable when they provide unsafe, unclean rooms and refuse to make it right? The lack of responsibility from both the hotel and booking platforms left me with no recourse and a terrible experience.
Travelers should be extremely cautious when booking here. I hope this review encourages La Quinta, Wyndham, and third-party booking sites to start taking accountability seriously.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Avoid Stay For Less**
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience with **Stay For Less** was so frustrating and stressful that I feel compelled to warn other travelers.
After a 13-hour drive with my children, I arrived at a hotel only to discover that the reservation made through **Stay For Less** was completely misrepresented. The site listed incorrect room prices, omitted important details (such as the motel’s no-pet policy), and to make matters worse, the booking was marked *non-refundable* — leaving me with no recourse in a completely unsuitable situation.
Trying to resolve the issue with Stay For Less’s customer service was a nightmare. The representative was unhelpful and showed little understanding or urgency, despite the fact that the error was entirely on their end. I was left standing outside with two tired kids and no clear solution in sight.
Thankfully, the hotel owners stepped in with compassion and went out of their way to help mediate — even though they had no obligation to do so. **Stay For Less**, on the other hand, took no responsibility for their misleading listing and offered no support in resolving the issue.
If you value peace of mind when you travel, **I strongly advise against using Stay For Less**. Stick with more reputable booking platforms or, better yet, book directly with the property. This experience was a clear reminder that cheaper prices are not worth the risk when a company won’t stand behind the accuracy of its listings.

Sold a room that doesn't exist
Site sold and pictured a double room with 2 seperate sleeping areas. They booked a single room. The local hotel also said no such double room exists. Stayforless refused to refund me for misrepresented room. Now in dispute with bank.

I successfully stayed at Rixos Premium Tekirova Hotel in Kemer Antalya via stayforless booking. When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist couldn’t find our booking in their system. I called the customer service of stayforless and stayed on the line for 3 hours. Lots of emails back end forth. In the end they managed to book another room at the hotel without charging us additionally.
My recommendation to anyone who is planning to use stayforless to call the hotel ~48 hours in advance to verify the reservation beforehand. Then you would have enough time to resolve issues. They provide lower rates and their system is mostly using other brokers and suppliers. I am sure most of the system is depending on manual email and phone calls. Hence there are issues. In the end you get what you pay for.

Joining many others here to try and get the word out. Recommend avoiding Stay for Less and Hotelogical - really poor notification and tracking of activity once you book. You're on your own and if there are issues, you're probably out of luck.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. This is not a travel service—it’s a scam operation pretending to be one. I don't care how cheap the price looks, Stayforless will rob you blind and vanish when you need them the most.
In October 2024, I was traveling through Wichita, KS and needed a hotel. I saw a price difference between what the hotel was offering and what was online, so I searched for a deal. That’s when I made the mistake of clicking on Stayforless. Within seconds, they charged my card—fast as lightning when it comes to taking your money.
But when I got to the hotel? Nothing. No reservation. No record. No clue who this company even was. So now I’m standing in the lobby trying to sort this out, and guess what? Stayforless was nowhere to be found. I called repeatedly—no answer. I emailed—silence. Not a single person picked up the phone. No help, no confirmation, no support. Just me, stranded, while they sat on my money.
Then came the insult to injury: it took FOUR MONTHS of back-and-forth emails, empty excuses, and total incompetence just to get a refund. Four months of them pretending they needed to "verify" that I didn’t use the reservation—seriously? They couldn’t be bothered to make a two-minute phone call to the hotel, but they had no problem charging my card instantly.
Only after I threatened legal action did they finally return my money. Not because they care, but because I wouldn’t back down.
Let me be clear: Stayforless is a disgrace. They are not a real service. They are a faceless, gutless company that takes your money and ghosts you. I wouldn't trust them to book a dog kennel, let alone a hotel.
Do NOT use this company. Ever.

If I could give 0 stars I would . I booked thru stayforless.com , went to the hotel where check in is 3 pm. Got there at 6pm and the room was not ready. They said would be 10 - 15 minutes , it was over 2 hours later at 8:15pm they let me check in. I found a manager at the hotel and asked for a discount and they said it has to go thru stayforless. I called them that night and it said we are finding a representative. Waited on hold 15 minutes and it said no reps available and put me to voicemail. I've called every day and emailed every day since 2/18 and today is 3/6 . I got a rep only 1x , she opened a case and that's all that's been done . They don't answer emails or calls . Stay away . I had a small problem thru Priceline one time and they answered immediately and took care of it right there . Run away from stay for less .
