I purchased a policy from Steadily Insurance recently and want to give Karli a well deserved shout out for helping to make the experience seamless. Karli was patient and kind. She did not pressure me to buy a more expensive policy than what I needed, which I greatly appreciated.
Karli was a pleasure to interact with. She made purchasing insurance a much less stressful ordeal than it has been for me in the past.

Double charging after 1 day canceling…

Double charging after 1 day canceling called agent said it was taken care of twice they keep charging my account this company is just not worth the aggravation!
Yes nothing changed now have to dispute this phoney charge

I was told by farmer insurance that the collapse of sewage line its cover under the police. However , when I call to do a claim I was told by the adjuster that does not cover , so I’ll cancel the insurance sooner.

Sadly, as agents very little. However you access to insurance companies willing to sell homeowners insurance in the California market was a great relief after being left high and dry by Century National.

Refused to Issue Refund Directly to Policy Holder

we made a credit card payment to bind the policy in Dec ,25. then our mortgage co made a duplicate payment, out of our escrow account and on our behalf, in Feb '26 by mistake. We called to request the duplicate payment to be reversed and refunded to us. The customer service insisted to send money to the credit card company instead of us. They claimed the credit card was the "only" payment method on file and they could not issue a check to us. They refused to cancel the credit card refund (I called them the day (02/20/26) they claimed the credit card refund was processed). Last, they also refused to remove the credit card info from their system.

Once the overpayment posted, our system automatically issued a refund to the credit card, in accordance with standard accounting protocols for client-billed, pay-in-full policies. To ensure clients receive funds promptly, the refund was processed the same day, and once issued to a card, it cannot be reversed.

Because your policy was placed through an independent agent, billing preferences and payment method updates must be handled in coordination with the servicing agent. We have already notified your agency and asked them to reach out to you directly regarding your refund questions and any payment method changes.

People don’t matter to them.

My insurance was cancelled and they don’t really care. It’s a too bad so sad scenario. My policy was paid in full, but the underwriters found reasons to cancel. I have to carry insurance to keep my mortgage, I guess if i lose everything, they still get paid and they still have a home to go to a night. This is just another corporation that doesn’t really care about people.
