I have rented the same 14x36 Unit at Storage Mart on 291 S in Lee's Summit, MO for the past 12 years, ever since Storage Mart acquired the independently owned facility. At the time, my rent was $200 per month and with the latest increase is up to $690. There have been little to no improvements to the facility to justify the consistent rate increases. Read the fine print, rent can be raised at anytime with a 15 day notice. It appears their strategy is to continually raise rent to customer's breaking point. Enough was enough for me, I just relocated to a much newer facility (2 years old), larger unit (14x40), app to open gate and unit (electric opener) all for $340/mo, less than half of Storage Mart. My only regret, I didn't move years ago. I will say, all the site managers I have had over the years were all great people, just do not agree with the corporate pricing strategy.

What a fantastic first-time experience with Storage Mart in Walton on Thames. Stuart and Ian went above and beyond to ensure my move to storage went smoothly and without a hiccough. From my initial call, to my move in and with my move out of storage since, Stuart assisted me with professionalism, respect and kept me informed throughout the moves. Nothing was too much for them, even when there was a temporary glitch on their computer system, they kept me informed throughout and rectified it immediately.
Thank you for making this part of my relocation smooth, professional and straight forward. I have no qualms in recommending Stuart and Ian or in using Storage Mart in Walton on Thames again! Thank you 🙏

Our experience with the move-in and orientation was wonderful. Anna is a seasoned professional and keeps the facilities extremely welcoming. Her attention for detail and ensuring we got the right information (older folks like me need repetitive instructions) before we left. Our unit was clean and Anna was very considerate to put down some pallets on the floor. Amazing experience thanks to Anna!
My only safety concern is the ice buildup along the entrance and the access to the units.

Horrible place to rent from. Always increasing your rate even when you have rented from them for over a year and have never been late on a payment. Also, if you have rental insurance and they don't receive your updated policy information on time they will automatically charge you a monthly insurance fee. When you provide them with your renter's insurance documentation showing that you had renter's insurance the whole time and it has never been cancelled StorageMart still will not refund you the insurance fee that they charged you.

Today's experience with 0603 StorageMart SuperManager Mariana in reviewing my storage unit needs was excellent. Mariana helped me to select the right size unit for my needs and clearly explained the value and convenience of my rental. It was obvious from my tour of the facility that it is well-managed, clean and safe. Mariana was very friendly and helpful throughout the rental process. She is a great ambassador for StorageMart and takes absolute care of her clients. I'm delighted I chose to rent at this location with Mariana at the helm. Good show StorageMart!

Storage Mart in Pickering is conveniently located. The access hours can fit into any schedule. The office staff are friendly and helpful. I have had the pleasure of dealing with Dilip for 4+yrs. He is always smiling and helpful.

We rented a unit for just a month in between our moves and it was so convenient. The entire process was so smooth. The representatives I talked with were always friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable as well! I will definitely use them again when the time may arise.

This place is terrible, I have a 10x10, it was 70.00 a month, now its 241.00 3 years later. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!! Stay away from this PLACE!!!

Terrible to work for. I had to put my own money in the drawer when it was short and multiple people were working. When it was broken into they didn't call the police or watch the cameras. They just were uninterested in much of anything
WORST PLACE EVER!!! They reel you in with their lies and then continually raise the price, now they limit you from accessing YOUR belongings. They are now closed on Sundays and purposely close early during the week, making it difficult for people to access their belongings. TERRIBLE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!!

Horrible experience! All items inside full of mold and all items outside had a layer of rust on it. They told me that’s what insurance is for. I started off paying around 160 per month for both units and 4 years later was 330 per month. Get real!

Both attendants Peggy & Kristy are very helpful and friendly. Too many times you walk into a place of business and are ignored. Both ladies acknowledged my existence and made sure I was taken care of.

Have rented storage space from other locations. But, these are some of the reasons make this location stand out from others: friendly/honost mgr., flexible scheduling, customer-focused, and accurate billing, among others.

As a walk in customer at the Lawrenceville location store 0701 we were welcome with curtesy from Vincent. He is rich in knowledge of store policy and answered all of our question and concerns. Thank you for your professional help in getting us started.

I rented a unit at the St. Thomas, ON location. A few months ago I entered it and found dead insects and animal droppings. I alerted the attendant who took pictures to send to “head office.” No response was received. On entering last week I found an even larger collection of rodent and insect debris. When I contacted the store and reiterated that the business had done nothing to address the problem she stated “I have devices around the perimeter so that can’t happen.” I gave notice. Perhaps when I remove all my items (and disinfect them) I will attempt to add pictures to my review. The state of the unit was unacceptable and the employee’s denial and “I could care less” attitude cemented my decision to write a review (which I have never done in my life).
