Storage Post has the best people helping me with my self storage needs! Their pricing is also very transparent, you know what your real price is! I left another storage because they doubled my rate in 3 months! If the price looks too good to be true, its because it is! Storage Post rates are honest!

I have been with storage post for a few years now. I started in the Brooklyn location I'm a catering company and I also do community popup to feed the community. As a business owner it is extremely vital that I have access to my tents and equipment at all times. Storage Post grants me access to my unit when it is needed. I'm currently at the Mott Havon location. This location is very clean and the staff member are attentive and helpful. The Manager Delroy is a pleasure to speak to. He listens to my concerns and makes sure they are address. For example: I was looking to up grade to large unit one became available he reached out to let me know. I'm currently in my New unit and happy. Thank you to All the staff that keeps my Storage Post clean and safe.

Terrible customer service and unjustified rate hikes
Ridgewood Storage Post is a textbook example of how to alienate and exploit long-term customers.
After more than ten years of on-time payments, my monthly rate was suddenly increased by over $200 with absolutely no change in service. No explanation, no justification, and no warning that showed even the slightest respect for customer loyalty. Just a massive cash grab.
When I tried to contact them to understand or dispute this outrageous increase, I was completely ignored. I reached out over four separate times and received zero responses. Not a call. Not an email. Nothing. Their customer service is either nonexistent or intentionally dismissive.
Then, after a single failed card charge—which occurred one week after Christmas, when delays are common—they immediately tacked on late fees, despite my decade-long payment history. No grace period. No outreach. No professionalism.
This company has made it very clear that loyalty means nothing to them. They will raise your rates aggressively, ignore your attempts to communicate, and penalize you without hesitation. If you value transparency, basic decency, or competent customer service, do not store your belongings here. There are far better options in Brooklyn that won’t treat you like an inconvenience once they have your money.
If you want it borderline scathing, more emotional, or with stronger language about greed and incompetence, I can push it even further — just say the word.

Bad business, mice infestation
1 star is too generous for the scam.
They have mice infestation since last year. All my staff was destroyed and they not even paying the insurance payment, they will be charging rent regardless of the fact that they failed to protect your I'm going to call health department on them because it is nonsense.
Still Waiting for the Upgrades They Promised
This is the second rent increase I’ve received, and honestly, I’m struggling to see what’s improving. Every time it’s the same excuse about upgrades, but the facility tells a different story. No visible renovations, no added amenities, and still no garbage cans or dumpsters on site if you want to clear out your unit or dispose of anything.
Even the customer service has declined. If you're going to keep raising rates, there should be clear improvements to match. Right now, it feels like loyal customers are being charged more for the same experience.
Do not ever rent from Storage Post if…
Do not ever rent from Storage Post if you want good service and value your stuff. They only want your money and are quick to throw you under the bus with total disregard to your situation when you can't pay. They are also quick to auction off your stuff like myself who owed barely two months rent and show absolutely no understanding or compromise if you are undergoing a financial crises. They auctioned off my stuff despite me being a good loyal customer of seven years only giving me the same day notice by text and refusing to halt the auction when I pleaded for more time. I lost among other personal effects, my tax files, credit card files, job application files and other files with me and my family's personal information, family photo albums, household items etc and despite numerous pleas to have the files returned before the winner of the auction showed up, the Storage Post staff REFUSED.
The Fordham Rd, Bronx, NY location which I rented was always dirty with garbage and dead mice when I made my regular visits and there was no heat working in the winter or AC in the summer making it unbearable to stay for long periods of time.
I wrote the CEO a letter of complaint about my stuff being auctioned without proper notice and about his rude and nasty staff who refused to halt the auction, the letter was sent by certified mail and the ungrateful CEO ignored it and didn't have the common decency to reply.
Storage Post only cares about getting customers payment. They treat customers like garbage and are quick to auction or throw out their stuff without giving them at least a one month extension to put their arrears back in order.
They would not even ask the winner of my auction to return my personal files which Storage Post photographed in my auction listing or for them to contact me so I can have back or pay for a few mementos handed down from family generations which would mean the world to me.
I can only hope the Attorney General's in the states that they do business in can investigate them thoroughly as well as the many customers they have wronged in the past would file a class action lawsuit against them soon.
