I went back and forth because their pricing was much higher than others I found, also with 5 yr warranties, but I decided to support a local business. Between the price difference and sales tax, it was going to cost me $400 more, but I did expect I would get it much sooner too. I receive an invoice after filling out a form, and paid it. Then a second one for the sales tax (they don't have it set up to automatically add it for FL deliveries), so I had to pay that one separately. A few hours later I get ANOTHER invoice for $200 with no explanation. I then get an email saying it's for delivery....they offer FREE delivery to commercial locations only, which I knew, but usually it's because a liftgate is needed. My mechanic is an LLC and has a shop in his garage and also a rig with a liftgate for mobile. He gets deliveries from companies like this all the time and has never had a client get charged. I then get ANOTHER invoice for $1500, which I later discover was accidently sent to me. They refuse to waive the $200. I could just have them send it to my business and have him pick it up there, but why should I do that? They want to charge $200 to deliver it 23 miles, but it's free to deliver it 38 miles or to ship it out of State. They opted to lose a $3k sale over $200. Didn't even attempt to save the sale. The whole process was clumsy and frustrating. Go with a company that has better customer service and actually invests in a decent website and can set up their invoices properly, so you aren't having to make multiple payments throughout the day. Literally lost an entire day dealing with this. It should have been one invoice, paid, and a confirmation with the delivery date. Simple. They could have even asked if it can go to my business instead, to try to save the sale, but zero effort was made to provide customer service. Think I may have dodged a bullet....can't imagine what the Warranty process would entail.

Prompt shipping and the transmission is exactly as described. Our only issue is the pan gasket started leaking when it was filled. Not world ending but mighty annoying for a new reman transmission.

I can't believe how affordable and easy this process was. I received a very reasonable quote for a new transmission. Once I placed the order the transmission was shipped and delivered the next morning to my shop. No shipping charges and no core charge. The transmission came in a nice reusable crate and was in perfect like new condition. The shop took two days to install and program my vehicle. The core was picked up the next day and that's it. It was that simple. The transmission shifts smoothly and made my truck feel like new again. I would highly recommend using Streetsmart Transmissions if you need a new transmission. I've compared prices from the dealer and other companies and you just can't beat their price. Plus I get a 5 year/ unlimited mileage warranty. Let's face it, when you need a transmission in your vehicle it can get rather stressful. They made it easy and affordable. I can't thank them enough.

I hope the quality far outweighs the customer service that I received. The date that I actually received the transmission as opposed to when it was actually received was very far off. The people who I spoke with over the phone with constantly lied about returning my phone calls, claiming they sent an email to track the transmission, and relaying my message to speak with the owner. I never once heard from the owner! After paying for the transmission, it took about 2 weeks or more to receive it. There was one lady that was honest with me. I don't remember her name but the others shot lies to me and I definitely will remember this!

Everything regarding ordering, how it was shipped and then returning the core went as I was told it would. It was easy and smooth.

My only issue was that I was not told that the unit was not in stock. At least that is what I assume as the order was placed on the 5th with an expected delivery of the 12th. The actual shipping was the 14th with delivery on the 20th.

The unit came with new torque converter bolts, and various O rings for the lines. Do read the notice with the unit. In my case it cautioned against assuming the unit was empty and to check as fluid is added. The unit took a little less than if a filter change had happened and not the dry fill amount. I was also surprised to find that the converter break-in had been completed as noted via my scanner.

So far, the unit has been functioning as it should. It made me understand how long my transmission has been a problem even though it only recently set a torque converter code. We'll see how it goes over time.

I will recommend them if asked where to purchase a transmission.

I want to give it a year- to return and give a 5 star. That way I can tell the public a true answer as a mechanic. You guys excelled in all ways possible- now I want to see how the transmission does. I want my client to see me at Walmart 9 months from now and tell me she runs like a top... So until then, 4 stars for exceptional service, timely delivery, beyond fair price, planned and coordinated easily with pick-up for core.
I hope to have found a new company, in the USA, to work with!

Even though there were issues with the first transmission purchased, Street Smart was very active and helpful to rush out another Transmission to replace it very quickly. I have been very pleased with the mechanical and performance of the new transmission, even in comparison to the factory. Only recent issues, seals are starting to leak

This was an overall good experience with this company. I ordered it and a day later I had it shipped to my shop and ready to go. It is good quality parts and the instructions were good as well. My only complaint was I made a call into their number and talked to a lady and she was rude and not understanding what I was asking.

Does not carry a common Ford Focus DCT Transmission 2012-2018

The rebuilt transmission arrived much faster than I thought it would.
After my shop installed the transmission. I drove it for a while. It works as good as the old one did when it was new. Very pleased with it.
They were punctual and picked up the core within a day of letting them know it was ready. Customer service gets an A++

I called and when I spoke to the lady on the other in of the phone I was impressed at the level of knowledge she had and was actually the easiest purchase on a transmission I have ever had and I have been a mechanic for 39 years.
The Transmission arrived fast and looked awesome better than new.
Have used it for a month zero issues and zero leaks shifts smooth as butter.
