Price was really high but I needed the food. UPS is such a horrible delivery service. I will not continue to order if UPS is used. I paid full retail because I wanted it delivered but a mandatory signature with no delivery time made it a ridiculous waste of time for me.

We are disappointed that you were not happy with your order.
All orders are shipped via UPS WITHOUT any signature confirmation or age requirement. Your shipping address is located in a City (San Francisco) and your doorstep is right on the city street. If the UPS driver cannot access your building's common area or vestibule, UPS will not drop off a package in the "middle of a City street" where anyone passing by can take it. UPS, nor you, would want your package stolen given that your shipping address is easily accessible to many passerbys. It is at the discretion of the UPS driver who is familiar with the delivery address whether it is safe to place a package at someone's door or request a signature to ensure the package is delivered to the proper recipient. It is out of our control whether UPS feels a signature is needed or not. Proper procedures are the norm to prevent theft in any industry.
It is obvious that the driver felt it was necessary to hold your package because of the lack of a secure drop off location at your address or because he had no access to your building's common area or vestibule. It is your responsibility to have your packages delivered to an address that has a "drop off area" that UPS or any shipping carrier can access.
You mentioned that you did not receive a shipping notice from us. However, upon an order being shipped our system automatically sends shipping confirmation emails with a tracking number to all of our customers. Did you check your spam or bulk folder? More than likely your shipping confirmation email is in your spam folder.
We feel that it was unfair and impatient of you to assume that we did not send you a shipping confirmation email and to assume that we shipped your package with a signature confirmation. You could have just simply contacted us and we could have explained to you how packages are shipped and dropped off in metropolitan cities.
And as for your mention that the price of the dog food that you purchased from us is high, that does not appear to be the case. If you did a price comparison you will notice that the price of the dog food that you bought from us is the SAME price across all online retailers because of the manufacturer's pricing guidelines. You will probably find the same bag of dog food priced much higher at your local pet store.

So glad I found Summer’s Paw!!
I have received nothing but amazing service from Summer’s Paw. The prices are the lowest I’ve seen. My dog food was shipped the same day it was ordered and the package always comes wrapped so nicely with a bonus bag of dog treats! I won’t be buying from anywhere else!

Summer’s Paw is the best!
The free delivery is very fast, they always have my hard to find dog food in stock and I really appreciate the gifts they send - it helps me know what new things are available for my Beagles. I had to contact customer service once and they were very kind and fixed my order immediately. I highly recommend Summer’s Paw.

So happy I found this company!
So happy I found this company on a Google search for freeze dried treats. They have a great selection of all natural dog treats and the hard to find freeze dried bully sticks which are the only types of treats we give our young Chihuahuas. Good prices too!

Very pleased with Summer’s Paw…
I have been very pleased with Summer’s Paw. I order pet food from them on a monthly basis and I always receive my dog food within a day or two. It always comes in a package with some sample treats. I am very pleased with this service.
