There's not a day that I get let behind because of the drivers being mad at the dumb people that have no respect and all of us have to get the worst of it too. They are public service people regardless of what they going thru they still have to give u the time that its in the bus schedule. I was here at the laos center and bus 3238 park let one person in and left didn't even give us here time to get in the bus and left not even a minute so now im late. I have respect to them but they don't care cus they think we all the same I don't drive and I work but always something going on with them and don't even have care for no one so why is it my taxes paid them and always treated like a peace of and im a single person so its not important to no one. Lost my job Beacouse ot this before so please do something about this please being judged by others dumb smokers.

I just had this happen to me

I just had this happen to me. Im a 23 year old female and I was on my way home from work on the bus 8 going to Houghton going on Broadway, and my complaint is about the male driver, probably mid 30's or early 40's, the bus driver stopped at a circle k on Broadway blvd to pick up people and it was right before my bus stop, i was getting my bag to put some things away and i had my vape in hand, i put my vape in my mouth really quick to put away the rest of my stuff, and i accidentally smoked my vape, but i thought nothing of it bc i dont smoke my vape on the bus and i wait until i get off at my stop to smoke it. At that moment the Diver come up to me and told me that smoking wasn't aloud on the bus. Im the type of person that doesn't cause trouble and im not confrontational unless i have to be, so i just apologize and told him that it was an accident and it wont happened it again, he then proceeded to tell me that he didn't care and to get off the bus. Mind you it was nearing 6pm and it was already getting dark, the circle k is surrounded by homeless people and drug addicts, which I know its not safe for a young female and with everything thats been happening on bus stops or gas stations, some people do get killed and I was kinda fearing for my safety. So I asked him if he was being serious and that my bus stop was LITERALLY on the next stop, he still told me that he was being serious, that he didn't care and told me to get off. I will admit I did call him a prick as I got off the bus bc i wasn't being disrespectful to him the whole time and ive always been respectful towards the drivers, but what he did was unfair, incredibly rude. I've seen people smoke vape's, cigarettes and done drugs on the bus. The drivers usually give warnings or NEVER SAY ANYTHING, the one time I ACCIDENTALLY smoked my vape I get kicked off, no warning or anything. I was really uspet to the point i was in tears bc my life would've been in danger if my family didn't pick me up on time.

I hate number 25 in Tucson

I hate number 25 in Tucson, Arizona, is so late at any stop, I'm not sure if it's the people in the bus or the traffic or bus driver.
I think they should follow the schedule regardless.

Suggestions That Might Help Improve Employee & Rider Anxiety

Ok, we are almost finished with the hot summer months of 2025, and one of the issues taking place is the violence on buses & at a variety of bus terminals. I mention this before in the past on social media, where they should set aside funds in the budget, and contract a security firm or if short-staffed, more than one security firms. Their roles will be assigning a security guard to ride the buses, to cover both the day & night shifts, on all the routes. Having a security guard presence on each bus routes, both day & night, that will at least deter most conflicts from taking place while on the bus.

suntran sucks

I lost an item on the bus and they were…

I lost an item on the bus and they were able to locate it for me. The drivers are always friendly and you can't beat the price. There are a lot of transients on the bus, but they can't help that as it is free and this allows them to notice unusual activity such as trafficking and theft.

SunTran is HORRIBLE

SunTran. Maybe don’t fire all of your mechanics (so you can line the top execs’ pockets) and then maybe all your buses won’t break down CONSTANTLY!!!! I’ve been riding SunTran for nearly three years and I’ve only been putting up with it because I’m too broke for a car and the services are free. SunTran has always been bad but NEVER this catastrophic! And no one will get penalized for it (except for the fired mechanics and the riders dealing with historic heatwaves while always being late for work).

If I could rate 0 I would. They are argumentive and rarely show up on time. There is 0 consequences for their crap behavior so that's just not gonna change. For as much as they get paid you would think they could stick to a schedule.

THE CITY OF TUCSON NEED TO TAKE A SERIOUS LOOK AT THIS COMPANY

The dispatchers will handle you like a child. I was cursed out by a driver and belittled by 3 dispatchers on numerous occasions. There was nothing I could do about it. New employees cant used the Union to speak for us. I told a union rep I was cursed out by a driver. I took a pic of the guy and gave it to him. I found out who it was and spoke to him. He told me because I am new, I cant used to union. If I report it, SunTran will find a way to fire me. I was mentally and verbally harassed by 3 dispatchers over a 30 day period. I didn't say anything because of fear of losing my job. Another union rep noticed the harassment and said he will help me with the situation. He too said that the union can't help me and I will be fired but I took a chance. I was fired 2 days after reporting the behavior of the the 3 dispatchers.

An hour wait

At this moment am waiting for bus 25 at 8:45pm, I've been here since 7:30pm. A whole hour waiting. This is on a Monday. And yes I know it's a free ride which for me it's OK to be 5 to 10 minutes late but an hour that's not not ok.
Suntran keep in mind that time is import to people and could affect their paycheck

Wish I could give it a negative 0... The person who clean was sitting and the toilet had pop on the floor toilet paper all over on the grown. No toilet paper and kid's needed the restroom. The other restroom is kept close. And the guy is rude and careless about keeping it clean. And always sitting down. This is Los reviews

SERVICE ANIMAL RULES

Calling 520.792.9222 is a waste of time. Always a waste of time. I got this lady who was rude and was not doing active listening. Just hung up on me. Here is the story.

Today on bus 23 #7302 morning shift -the Bus Driver had a meltdown. A women with a disability came on the bus around 4th ave and had a very small Lap Dog. She was unable to hear and speak. The bus driver very aggressively was pursuing this women to answer the question "Is that a service animal?" When she didn't answer he proceeded with an angry attitude walked right up to her and asked and she waved a hand or something which meant yes I suppose and he quit abusing the poor disabled person. Another man very angry called him a Nazi and when the bus driver kicked him off the bus this passenger threw water in the bus drivers face. At this point the bus driver pushed this man very hard off the bus in a violent manner and yelled at all the passengers "I AM JUST DOING MY JOB" many time. "THE BUS IS FREE" " LET ME DO MY JOB" I HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS ALL DAY" Three Things. 1. No Bus driver deserved this kind of behavior from a passenger. This is wrong. That WAS assault. 2. When the bus driver pushed this passenger off the bus what would have happened if the passenger fell over hit his head on the concrete and died. Pushing is ALSO assault, then if he would have injured himself or even died as a result a law suit at the minimum or a charge of homicide - manslaughter. Is this what the bus drivers are taught to do. To take that risk. An assault for an assault makes no sense. 3. I have rode the bus for years and maybe 1 percent of bus drivers would ever ask "IS THAT A SERVICE ANIMAL" One day Sun Tram will get sued for this. WHAT IS A SERVICE ANIMAL. A service animal must be readily Identified as being used for reasons related to a disability as a result of visual indicators such as vest or Harness worn by the animal or the passenger must provide a note from certain regulated health professionals confirming you need the animal. What about Emotional support animals. Is Sun Tram willing to deny bus service to all those with animals when only a handful may really have a certification to be legit. What if they say "This is my emotional support animal." Is the bus driver going to stop the bus and make everyone late for their transfer. SUN TRAM and their union is the responsible party for this issue causing confusion for their bus drivers. NOTE: When I did get off the bus another passenger shared with me that early in the trip he complained to a young passenger about his visibility of his cigarette box. Is this really the bus drivers concern. Is he a power and control freak. I thought the job of a bus driver was to drop people off and pick up people. THE END.

I have used SunTran for over 20 years.

I have used SunTran for over 20 years.
Years ago, I would have given it a 5 Star Rating.

Today most of the Drivers are still 5 Star.
But today it is impossible to plan ahead.
There was the promise of a New Bus Schedule being Available, but it has yet to happen.

It is also impossible to make Doctor Appointments at the VA Hospital, with no idea, at what times to take Busses, to be on time.

What A Total Mess SunTran Has Become.

nobody likes waiting in the 110 degree heat. driver route 6 120pm was 10 minutes late. cant you people at suntran go back to the old schedule. the driver should be fired because hes always 5 minutes late

Bus driver was rude and slammed the…

Bus driver was rude and slammed the door on me as I was about to board and drive off. The people online blew it off and said the best thing to do was wait for the next ride. The customer service said that it was nothing they could do anything about and that I should just wait.

These bud drivers suck ass at showing…

These bud drivers suck ass at showing up on time. They’re either too early, or 10 minutes late and it’s annoying because I highly depend on buses to get to work and back. If it stays like this, might as well keep the bud fare free cause I can be late to work on my own.

i waited 30 minutes for the route 6 at the stop in front of marios pizza this morning and the bus never showed up smh. it would be useful if alerts were posted online. the routes are allegedly every 20 minutes and not whenever the bus decides to stop
