I order my cat litter from Superpet. It always arrives within a few days and is well packed in a very tough plastic bag.
They are also very helpful when you phone them.
I have been dealing with this company for a little while now as they are reasonably priced & fairly local to me.
My recent order consisted of 2 x 2kg bags of Hedgehog food, when the order arrived I had been short delivered by 1 bag. I rang immediately to report the shortage & was told to email & include photographs of the empty cardboard box that contained my order & also the address label?!, no apology!
My response to that request was 'why'? What on earth does that prove, clearly they were not prepared to accept my word for it, although I had been dealing with them for quite sometime.
I was not prepared to waste my time on completely pointless exercises as per their request so did not comply. My further response was to advise them that I am not in the habit of conning companies & that if they happened to physically check the stock level of that item against their computer records there should be a discrepancy of 1 bag.
Up until this particular incident I had nothing but good to say about this company but I am afraid that having been short delivered on an item costing around £9 I will not be dealing with them again.
Customer service is sadly lacking & their attitude is clearly one of complete distrust for all of their customers.
avoid this company. they dont do remedies - they do excuses. Look at all their replies to neg feedback. always an excuse. no promise to do better next time, no vouchers to make up for wrongdoings, no discounts offered as apologies. Other companies do this! and keep their customers. Superpet are penny-wise and pound foolish
Part of my order was incorrect. The first reply was to say that they had updated the website for me, how does this help? Then I asked them to send a courier to collect the item and refund me. They told me to send it back. I will not pay to send back an item that I did not order. I checked my order online only to find they had changed it. Dishonest and despicable and what I received was not even what they changed it to. I also sent a copy of my order confirmation email showing exactly what I ordered. They could have emailed to ask if I would accept the change but did not and like other reviews I have read made it sound like my fault. Silence since. I am absolutely disgusted with my treatment. Unfortunately you cannot get in touch with the directors, which is bad. I will not be buying from them again. Amazingly now I have reviewed you on trustpilot you have decided to reply. I have no wish to add more since I have already sent you numerous emails. Non of which you have answered to my satisfaction. What you sent was mixed selection not fish. Take responsibility and send a courier to collect it. Your customer service is a joke.

I order shelled peanuts for the squirrels and they love them.Meal worms for the birds. orders come quickly would highly recommended
I wanted to let you know as a longstanding and regular customer, how very pleased I am with my last purchase from Superpet. It was my monthly order of calci worms for the birds & monkey nuts for the squirrels. The quality of products is consistently excellent and this is backed up by an extremely reliable delivery service. I will definitely be re-ordering soon to keep our wildlife happy 🐿️….. Thanks again. I have waited until Amazon ruled on my complaint before writing this review. This morning, Amazon ruled in my favour. Read the 1 star reviews here and you will see the dreadful customer service of this firm. They sent the wrong item. I returned it but they refused to refund me - even when I gave them the tracking number that proved I had sent it back. Instead, they did not reply. It was radio silence. Deceitful or incompetent? I've no idea. Clearly I am not the only one who has suffered at the hands of this ignorant company. The Goode family own this business. If any of them are reading this (Anthony, Joseph, Susan?) is this the sort of reputation you want? I am disgusted at how you have treated me - and clearly, so is Amazon.

To the anonymous person who wrote that reply, you are woefully ignorant of the facts and your attitude shows why you have so many 1 star reviews on Trustpilot specifically relating to customer service. The speed at which you replied to my 1 star Trustpilot review was that of a gazelle, yet when it came to paying me back the money I was owed you moved like a glacier. In fact, slower than a glacier. You simply did not pay me back! FACT. That is why I had to complain to Amazon and it was Amazon who paid me back via their A-Z guarantee, it was not someone at your end. I even sent you the tracking number but then you went to radio silence. You come across like an angry little person who cannot bear fair and honest criticism. I gave you 1 star to help other future customers so they don't fall into the same trap I did. You imply that I am someone who wants to "skip all normal procedures if something goes wrong." I don't think I skipped any procedures. I sent the item back and requested a refund. It is your company that skipped normal procedures by sending me the incorrect item and by refusing to pay me back my money. Amazon clearly ruled in my favour. I hope others read what you have written and note your tone. In your world, any negative criticism is clearly the fault of the critic and not your own. It speaks volumes as to the sort of company you are. Thank you for your feedback on me as a person. Most entertaining. Finally, there is a consistent theme if you look at the 1 star reviews. Something goes wrong with the order, it is returned, but no refund is forthcoming. Funny that. I was clearly not alone! Be careful.
