My experience with SurePayroll was very disappointing. From the beginning, it felt like the focus was more on selling the product than properly reviewing and verifying the required documentation upfront. After I had already moved forward with the service, my account was flagged and then terminated without a clear explanation or proper communication about the reason.

This caused unnecessary disruption and stress, especially because payroll services require reliability, transparency, and trust. Instead of helping resolve the issue or clearly explaining what documentation was supposedly missing or unacceptable, the process felt abrupt and unprofessional.

Because of this experience, I had no choice but to switch to a more reliable payroll provider that communicates clearly and properly vets customers before onboarding them. I would not recommend SurePayroll to anyone looking for dependable payroll support, especially if clear communication and account stability are important to your business.

I've been a customer for years. I have a difficult time justifying staying with this company any longer. Customer service is almost non existent. I've tried online messaging. I've tried calling. I've tried chat option. No response to any option to get assistance. They are very good about charging my account for their service, but horrible about responding to questions or helping resolve any issues.

Good customer service. Payroll is quick and easy.

I’ve been waiting months for a referral fee that was supposed to be paid back in early March. I received confirmation by email of the referral on January 22 and was later told in writting that it would be paid around March 7. Since then, I’ve followed up multiple times with little to no response.

The only explanation I keep getting on the chat (I have screenshots) is that payments are delayed due to an internal issue with a vendor called Tango and that they’re “upgrading” their system. At this point, it feels like they’re framing this as some kind of improvement, when in reality it’s just an excuse for not honoring their agreements.

Very frustrating experience after months. If you’re relying on referral payments, be VERY careful. Their ads and the reality are different!

Payroll is being handled decently. Very difficult to change payroll without having to start over and manual checks are cumbersome.

If you are thinking they will follow thru with their promise on referrals you may want to rethink. I am at 4 months and they are not issuing, stating it is their partner, not anything I have done. BEWARE

I have been thoroughly pleased with working with SurePayroll! As a new business owner, navigating all of the nuances related to being a business owner can be daunting, but SurePayroll made the payroll piece a breeze between their excellent customer service and friendly and helpful staff.

Very easy to navigate through and Raegan was always there when needed.

Karla is a great anytime I need her. If she is on the phone with another customer, she calls back soon. She is patient with my dumb questions. Customer Service and being able to contact someone on the phone is very important to me, so SurePayroll is winning!

Great communication, fair pricing.

Excellent service and very reasonable. Was easy to set up and when ever I had questions I received almost immediate responses by email. This program is so easy to use and very convenient. It also costs me far far less than the accountant I was previously using for my payroll. I looked into several payroll services and choose SurePayroll, and I 'm sooo glad I did. Would highly recommend to anyone.
