I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to avoid them.
We booked our prom limousine in February for a July prom, so there was plenty of time for the booking to be organised properly. Unfortunately, the service we received was completely unacceptable from start to finish.
The driver arrived 50 minutes late with no courtesy call or message to let us know he was delayed. We repeatedly had to contact the company ourselves for updates and were told traffic was the reason. Given everything that happened afterwards, I find that explanation very difficult to believe. To make matters worse, the driver actually drove straight past us while we were waving him down.
When he eventually arrived, he remained in the vehicle. There was no greeting, no opening of the doors, and no attempt to make the girls feel special on what should have been a memorable occasion.
The limousine itself was also disappointing. It was dirty inside and out, with crisp wrappers left in the vehicle, loose wires hanging down near the driver’s area, and it looked nothing like the immaculate vehicle shown in the promotional videos. We had also been given complimentary bubbly, but there were no glasses provided. Thankfully, we had brought our own.
There was no apology from the driver. It was agreed that we would only pay half the balance because of the significant delay and the fact the girls would now only be in the limousine for around 20 minutes before arriving at prom.
The worst part was yet to come. Instead of driving to the venue, the driver went completely the wrong way and ended up around five miles away. The girls repeatedly told him he was going the wrong direction but were told they were “not allowed to tell him where to go.” Imagine how frightening that was for six teenage girls. Parents were watching their locations through phone trackers, and I eventually had to call the company and state that I would contact the police if the driver did not turn the vehicle around immediately.
The girls eventually arrived at their prom 45 minutes late. By then, everyone had already arrived, meaning they completely missed the special entrance they had been looking forward to for months.
Following numerous complaints, the company did issue a full refund. While I appreciate that they eventually accepted responsibility financially, no amount of money can replace a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The girls only get one prom, and that moment was taken away from them. What should have been a magical evening became an incredibly stressful and upsetting experience for both the girls and their parents.
I cannot recommend this company to anyone. Reliability, professionalism, cleanliness, communication and, most importantly, passenger safety all fell well below an acceptable standard.
Avoid at all costs.
