Wolverhampton Switch Great service!!
Great service!!! Very smooth process and even when I had to extend my rental, its was just a simple phone call and no drama. I will recommend Wolverhampton Switch Car rental and Sanj was very helpful during the collections and also return.

Absolutely fantastic friendly team with a great selection of vehicles. Amanda in the office is always helpful with my bookings and goes above and beyond to help me out when I have specific requirements from my hire car. Paul & Mark who often deliver/collect my car are great people and really friendly - always good to have a chat about the car if it's a make/model I've not driven before. Can't fault the the service of the whole team at the Worcester branch!

Kings Lynn team - helpful it time of need
Iain and the team at the Kings Lynn branch have been absolutely fantastic. I had issues with a car I had purchased online and was given use of a vehicle from switch, the car was delivered to my house and team were very friendly and helpful showing me over the vehicle. The use of the vehicle was then removed without notice from the company I purchased the car from. Iain called to explain the circumstances and was patient while I tried to resolve the issues, which unfortunately didn’t get resolved, however I was able to keep the car on a personal hire contract which Iain was very helpful in arranging during this stressful time. Can’t thank the team enough, will definitely use them again if I’m in need of a hire car.

Awesome Service. I rented a van today to move some furniture from my recently passed away aunt’s house to my daughter’s new house. The service I received from switch ( previously known as thrifty. ) was absolutely awesome. I’ve rented in excess of 30 vehicles over the last three years in numerous countries and this was by far the best! Thank you and well done to Karen and all the team. Everyone I had an interaction with was pleasant and friendly. It made what was a tricky day into a really good experience! Thank you

Left stranded by Switch
I booked a rental car from switch using the broker CarJet. I don’t have a credit card, but I checked on the switch website where it clearly states you can have a debit card as long as you provide additional paperwork (all of which I had).
I was refused the car and told because I didn’t “book directly through Switch” I was not able to rent the vehicle without a credit card.
I was also refused a refund because I was 2 hours too late to cancel.
My partner & I were left stranded at Glasgow airport with a 6 year old (with additional needs) and a 5 month old baby. It was a very stressful and frightening experience, with little to no help or empathy from the staff at Switch.

We're really sorry to hear about your experience especially given you were travelling with young children. Unfortunately, the booking company website does show that virtual cards can not be accepted and we needed a physical card to proceed with the booking. While I do sympathise with your situation, any refund would need to be arranged with the company that booked the vehicle for you as we have not billed you directly. I have also now passed your comments about the lack of support and empathy from our team to the senior location manager for further investigation as this is not the impression we want to leave with our customers. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and giving us the opportunity to improve for the future.
