I have recently joined the WTWA online…
I have recently joined the WTWA online platform, it has been very enjoyable. There is a lot to explore at your own pace and a very healthy and supportive community to engage with that has been very encouraging. Practicing meditation/Qi Gong/ Tai Chi certainly needs a communal aspect to be sustainable.
The support team have been very engaged as well when I had my own issues. So it is not just a faceless platform subscription, it does very much feel genuine.
The lessons are well sized for viewing on video whenever suits you. The courses are very well structured and engaging, I have been watching mostly George's introductory series which have been a great joy to start the day.
Highly recommended to try the trial and see how it goes, I've been interested in Qi Gong/Tai Chi but don't have any classes nearby. The quantity, quality and community of the WTWA has been fantastic and I am looking forward to learning more!

Stay away from this. Its scam. No access to anything, no support in the «support center». Look at the long and well formulated «excuses» here on trustpilot. Its not true.

There is an abundance of material to learn from, it is clearly structured and I can follow along. I learned the Tai Chi 8 Form in three days and can follow along. The videos are beautiful and cheerful. The community is sweet.

Wudang Taoist Wellness Academy Online is incredibly thourough and measured in its process. In a year when major life changes would have interrupted my ability to follow along in a normal class progression, I had the flexibility to study and learn as time and circumstance allowed and I still gained tremendous insights — this after studying qigong already for more than 30 years. My deepest appreciation.

This is ideal for me as a complete novice as steps are explained clearly for all movement related activities. The additional Dao related teachings are accessible and I’ve loved the cultural insights too. Between the teachings of Master Gu and George/Eli I believe the content has something to offer anyone. Additionally there is a welcoming community and regular online sessions for added connection. I have loved it so far!

I got on the zoom for book study
I got on the zoom for book study, no one was present. I emailed my question about why there is no one on zoom, no response either. I thought George would be present. I’m puzzled what’s going on and how the study zoom works.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry to hear about the confusion and inconvenience you encountered with the book club meeting.
The meeting did take place at the scheduled time, but it seems there may have been a misunderstanding about the timing. While George doesn’t attend these sessions, our team and fellow students thoughtfully moderates them and provides a welcoming space for students to connect and discuss the materials.
We also regret the delay in responding to your email and understand how frustrating this must have been. Your feedback is incredibly important to us, and we’re working to ensure smoother communication in the future.

When doing these interviews, as I have experienced, he does it as a question and answer interview. Repeating in his own words what the master is saying, asking him if he understands correctly.
That way you get the best of both worlds.

Additionally, we offer closed video captions to ensure clarity for every student, alongside a student success team to assist with any aspect that needs clarity and support. We also host a monthly live session with Master Gu and the community.

Master Gu is a great teacher, George made a very huge work to spread Master Gu teachings and I think this is the best Tai Chi/ Qi Gong academy in the world (wide web). I hope I can attend a class in Wudang sooner or later.

I highly recommend the Wudang Taoist Wellness Academy
I highly recommend the online Wudang Taoist Wellness Academy course, every part of the course is done so professional by Master Gu, the basic steps in Wushu and remembering the footwork as been totally covered by the video's and the photo printout's.
The Daoist philosophy discussed by Master Gu as really been life changing.
I've really enjoyed the recommended books to read on Taoism "Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu, Tao (The Watercourse Way) by Alan Watts and The Tao of success by Derek Lin."
